Our favorite part of our trip! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a sloth right off the balcony. We also saw iguanas, lizards, poison dart frog, white faced monkeys and toucans right from his balcony. A trip we will always remember! Thanks for everything! We also enjoyed the pool. Great times there! We hope to be back someday.

Amazing location. The review about the steep road to get to the house is very accurate - but it's worth the rally once you get up there!

Fantastic place, in combination with the neighboring San Manuel-Antonio park, a very exciting stay.

The value of this property was outstanding. It is in a gated community above quepos. The drive up the hill to the home itself is tough but if you have the right vehicle and spirit, once you are up there, it’s gorgeous. We saw blue morphos, howler monkeys, another family of monkeys, scarlet macaws and more. The grill was an excellent touch for us. Sitting on the porch was amazing to just sit with the forest flora and fauna. Manuel Antonio is 15 minutes away. Quepos is 10. The new(ish) marina is less than 15.

Brendon was always responsive for any questions I had. Loved the view and proximity to marina and restaurants! Unable to use the pool due to rainy season but definitely a nice amenity! Thank you for the use of your place! Hope to be back soon!

Great location & communication! This place had a beautiful view with a peaceful, private feeling. We enjoyed the pool, especially the greenery and animals that surrounded it. It was close to the national park, beach, restaurants & markets. We even booked ourselves a couples massage at the Raindrop Spa- highly recommend. 1st night the lock on the bottom floor 3rd bedroom didn't work & we were not able to use that room for the night. However, they did have a blowup mattress in one of the closets so my family of 6 was able to make due. The communication to fix this was quick & maintenance came out the next morning. I realize we booked during the "off season" so this may have altered our experienced but the place did feel weathered & a bit worn. We've stayed in many airbnbs but these beds were not comfortable (including reviews from my kids - not just my comfort level as I age). It was nice the kitchen had everything, games, & books. Overall I would recommend because location, location...

The house is AMAZING! Surrounded by jungle and perfectly located with easy access to restaurants, beaches, and other activities. It is well equipped with everything you need and has a washer AND dryer to clean clothes and towels after a day at the beach. The pool is beautiful, surrounded by towering trees and rainforest grown cover. Watch monkeys, toucans, and other wildlife. This place is a gem!

First time in CR - Brendon and Johann were very helpful / responsive. Kiskadee Casa is well tended to by friendly locals. My wife, daughters and I spent most of our time in the Quepos / Manuel Antonio area and the location of this rental was convenient to all local attractions set in a magnificently peaceful and fairly private location. We prepped meals with local ingredients from BM Supermarket using the grill / stovetop. When we didn't want to prep, we had lunch on Espadilla Beach and enjoyed the warm Pacific Ocean, or ate at a local Soda in Quepos. The pool was great for cooling off after beach time, national park time, or walking through town. We only had two issues during our stay: 1)The grill had an empty propane canister. Johann quickly responded and had a new one delivered in 30 min. 2). A tree fell overnight blocking the only way in / out, cutting power to the entire estates. This was promptly reported to ICE who had a crew out first thing in the AM, restored by noon.

We are 4 adults from Montreal, Canada. This was our first time in Costa Rica. We stayed at the Casa Kiskadee from March 22 to 30, 2024 and really did not regret our choice. The wildlife and flora were amazing. Every day we discovered a variety of animals around the house , more than any of the forests visited during our trip : iguanas, monkeys (spider, squirrel, howlers), coatis, agoutis, bats, geckos, hawks, macaws, humming birds and more unidentified birds who, together with the cicadas, contributed to the background music and rythm of the jungle. We have enjoyed the facilities inside (air conditionning at night, the washing machine and well-equiped kitchen) and outside (the BBQ, and of course the pool which has been a blessing with the scortching heat). Thanks for providing this fantastic environnement to the visitors of foreign countries!

Overall we enjoyed our time here! Pros:Location is wonderful. There were monkeys, geckos and lizards around and we even saw some scarlet macaws right from the balcony! Our 4 year old loved it.Its close to the hill where the restaurants/shopping are, and close to the downtown area. It’s at the end of a very steep driveway, but you don’t get a bunch of drive by action, which was nice at night. Cons: on Day 1, we came home after dinner to find the smoke/carbon monoxide alarms were going off. Johan was quick to come, but they removed the detectors and never reinstalled them. Luckily we brought our own plug-in carbon monoxide detector. We never figured out why they went initially went off. On Day 2, a busted car was left in the middle of the driveway, which made leaving the house quite difficult and unsafe. It remained there until we left. We noticed peeling paint in our room and some mold around the sink. The oven reeked of gas when I tried to start it.

Casa Kiskadee is truly a paradise. Great mountain views and a gorgeous pool nestled in the rainforest. Plus, the house is clean, beautiful, and the kitchen is fully stocked for any cooking needs. We saw more wildlife from the balcony and house windows than we did on our entire road trip and hikes through CR. There is a sloth, monkeys, parrots, and lots of other wildlife that visit daily. It was truly the highlight of our trip. Brendon, and the manager Johan, were friendly, helpful, and highly responsive. AC, hot water, and washing machine / dryer all work wonderfully. The oven igniter wouldn’t work and we weren’t comfortable lighting the pilot, but the stove was easy to light and use and cooked great. We like soft beds, and found the beds to be a bit firm, as with most AirBnbs and all of CR. Couch was very comfortable. The house is located in an upscale, gated community, very safe. Also a 4WD isn’t essential, but the driveway is pretty steep. Book this place! You won’t regret it!

Amazing location, I had a few visits from Monkey's and Sloths looking to eat. The place is peaceful as can be... and great for the purpose of my visit that was competing at the marina triathlon. Overall amazing! will make it my go to yearly. Andres

Enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean! Provided the basic soaps, toilet paper, etc which are so great to have, especially when visiting a foreign country. Saw monkeys, a sloth and more from the deck. G*ogle maps had trouble telling us how to get to the house exactly and it took us several passes to figure out where to turn into the neighborhood. The road and driveway are steep!!!
