We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house and will definitely be back again! The house was clean and properly maintained. Our favorite part was the pool and outdoor grill. The hammock was also a great place to relax. The house is very private and completely fenced in with a remote controlled gate. Our primary goal was to surf every day and the waves/beach at Avellanas did not disappoint. The closest beach access is the Estero trail (river mouth) and was a little tricky. It requires a short wade across the river in chest deep swamp water. If you are not a fan of that, there are two other beach access points a little farther down the road and easy to walk or drive. Avellanas has 3 main surf breaks and they accommodate all skill levels. My favorite was "little Hawaii" which is a very fun right hand break. The beaches are beautiful and locals are very friendly (even in the surf lineup). I highly recommend going to the beach to watch the sunsets at Lola's restaurant!

Great house near Avellanas beach. Host and manager extremely communicative. Good hang out space and bedrooms are all good sizes.

We just had the joy of staying here for spring break along with some close family friends (4 adults, 4 kids). WE HAD THE BEST TIME!! The whole community has such chill and kind vibes. Beach and surfing every day. Delicious food. And incredible support from Alex and Irina (who was in the neighborhood for local support). Plenty of space for all of us. Great kitchen for making some dinners in. Great restaurants close by for a few dinners out. Lunch at Lola’s or Manta daily on the beach. The home was beautiful and comfortable. Great backdrop for our perfect week! Definitely cannot wait to get back. Thank you!!!

We had a great experience staying at Alex’s Airbnb. The place was very well maintained and looked exactly like the photos, which we really appreciated. It was fully stocked with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. The area was quiet and peaceful, which made it perfect for relaxing. Irina, the property manager, was incredibly responsive and available whenever we needed anything, which made the experience even better. We would 100% book this Airbnb again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable stay.

Five star experience. We had stayed at one of Alex‘s places in another city, but this was our first time at this location. The house was exactly as described, beautiful and spacious. It was plenty of room for my family, another family, and my parents. Great for kids and adults alike. Close to Lola’s, which is the can’t miss each side restaurant. Close enough to do day trips to other amazing locations. But there’s no need to look for a better beach than Playa Avellanas. Alex is the consummate host, and his house manager, Irina, was incredibly responsive as well. Five stars all around!

The House was perfect for pre family, 4 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen is very well stocked. The furniture is very comfortable and it was convenient to have beach chairs and towels. The house manager, Irina, was super helpful and responsive. They are some great restaurants close by. And a new French bakery is in walking distance, and has yummy pastries and coffee.

The house is amazing, we had such a great time in Avellanas! Every single detail in the house is very nice and the proximity to the beach and other towns is great and convenient. looking forward to come back!

We had a great stay at this modern beachside home. The location is excellent. The house itself is stylish, clean, and well designed, with modern finishes and comfortable spaces throughout. Everything felt thoughtfully set up for guests, and check-in was smooth. It’s a perfect place to relax while still being close to the ocean. We’d happily stay here again.
