Good location and reasonable price, clean room and responsive hosts!! Located really close to downtown/little walking strip. The two puppies on the property were also such a treat to be around!!! Made us feel right at home

We had a wonderful stay at this property, away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close to the center! We were warmly welcomed and felt right at home! The A/C is really appreciated! And the place really is just like the pictures! The common areas are beautiful and well maintained! It's great that there are family dogs; it brings the place to life :) Ahhh, we're already missing this heavenly place! Thanks to the hosts!

Peter is one of the most friendly people I have met recently, helped us with everything, and answered all of our questions, along with the cool studio apartment which felt like home, one of the best places to stay in Puerto Viejo

It was a nice place but after 3 nights of not getting much sleep due to mosquitoes in the unit and very hard and uncomfortable mattress and pillows, I left a day early. The kitchen was moderately stocked. I had trouble with the hot water in the shower a few times. And the unit is very close to the nearby house and so it didn’t feel very private as outside and other noises were frequently heard. I did like the location to the beach and it felt safe being there.

Please note that our mattresses are orthopedic to provide better support and comfort. Additionally, the bungalow is equipped with air conditioning, which can help mitigate the presence of mosquitoes. We'd like to remind guests that our property is in the jungle, so encounters with mosquitoes, bugs, and local wildlife such as toucans are common. We strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible despite these natural elements. Toller Urlaub in Puerto Viejo. Peter is very nice, gives good tips for the area and had even brought tea. The location is excellent, because you can reach a lot on foot and by bike, but you still have your peace and quiet. And there were also new bed linen and towels every day.

Quiet spot within easy walking distance of town. Bike rentals close by for going to other beaches too. Air conditioning was wonderful. Mattress is firm (as other reviewers have noted) but we slept fine regardless. Peter was very kind and had lots of good recommendations. Excellent place- would stay again.

The bungalow is very spacious, clean, well maintained with good AC and WLAN, fully equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Daily room service is available. The tapwater is not drinkable but there is one tap in the bar with filtered water which can be used for free when the bar is open. The bungalow is in a green garden, the porch is a couple of steps away from the busy lounge area, so don‘t expect to relax in privacy in the hammock during daytime. The family with small children and the dogs are usually around. We booked through AirBnB, another booking overlapped with ours, which we were told after the host accepted our reservation. We had to change the reservation, look for another accomodation on the fly and move in in the middle of our stay . The days were refunded.

Peter, the host and his family were very nice, friendly and accommodating. We loved taking with the family and learning their backyard. The bungalow was very clean and in a great location. We were able to utilize the porch in the evening when we returned from the beach. The only down side was we were unable to use the washer and dryer on premise and beds were a tad bit too firm for me. Other than that, the host(s) we’re awesome and I would stay there again.
