WOW. We were warmly welcomed and the staff catered to our every needs during our stay. The amenities were incredible, the location was paradise, the room was comfortable and cool, the staff was AMAZING. Pairs of macaws flew over us during an early morning swim, parrots serenaded the night while walking the beach at sunset. It was magical. After a week of exploring Costa Rica, it was a perfect end to our trip. They were able to arrange a last minute 90-minute couples massage for my husband and I, which took place under their outdoor pavilion overlooking the beach. Best massage we have ever had. There is not a single thing more I could have asked for. We are already planning our next trip with our family. We had issues with our previous host & ditched our original place needing to find a place minutes before the sun set. We reached out just 30 minutes before we arrived and knew we had made the right choice the minute we talked onto the property. Best decision we made the whole trip.

great property! safe, quaint and clean with incredibly friendly staff and tasty food! beach was clean and quiet (it is rainy season and probably not as busy as normal) though the surf was rough making it difficult to fully take advantage of the ocean. I don’t know if that is typical for the area, or a product of the season.

If you are looking for quiet absolutely beautiful vacation, book this place! if you want to sit in a dark room and watch tv, this hotel is not for you. my husband surfed while I did yoga in the wonderful yoga space set up facing the ocean. yoga and surfing instructors were amazing! food is delish (you must try the patacones). try the guaro sour. and the kombucha on tap. and the fish. just try everything! it's all good. if you are looking for a little adventure, head to rainmaker for couple hours. we had the best time here and wish we had stayed longer!
