Had a relaxing stay here. The hosts were accommodating and friendly and the property itself was incredible. The workers were super nice as well! Will be coming back

Great stay, would suggest to anyone who doesn’t want to be in the main town and prefers a more private tranquil vibe. Zivile was extremely helpful along the way answering the few questions that I had promptly. To add on the restraunts in the immediate area are very affordable and provide some of the best food you’ll ever eat! Overall if you’re looking to stay in the guasacate area I suggest staying here, you will not regret it!

The house is perfectly situated in an oasis. The garden on the property is stunning. The house is clean spacious with a beautiful kitchen. It’s incredibly well priced and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to spend time in popoyo relaxing and surfing.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property. Nestled on a serene 2.4-acre organic farm with mango trees, lemongrass, and banana plants, we were surrounded by nature. The property was well-appointed for our family, with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, and a water filtration urn. We were even visited by the hosts’ friendly dogs, who made our stay even more special. The patio deck’s flowering plants attracted colorful butterflies, and we often saw orioles and woodpeckers in the nearby trees. The location was fantastic—just a short moto ride down Calle Guasacate, where we could easily cross the river to reach the Popoyo break. Other spots like Santana Beach, Magnificent Rock, Beginner’s Bay, and Outer Reef were approximately 25 to 35 minutes away, depending on the spot. We did have a minor issue with ants due to an unsealed window, but it was insignificant compared to the many positives. We would definitely return to this peaceful and well-located gem!

We had a very pleasant and quiet stay in the house managed by Zivile. She is super friendly and offered many and very good local recommendations. The house is very nicely decorated with simple and functional style but with taste and has a guard at night. It's a little secluded and secluded from everything but a 7 minute drive to a good beach and good restaurants and cafes. We would have liked to be able to enjoy a pool and hot water in the bathrooms so we gave a 4 instead of a 5 but it has a lot more good things that can be improved
Host Response
Thank you for your note Javier. I will definitely chat with the owners about a hot water heater as that would be a nice touch for the colder months here. Pool - yes it’s super nice to have 😊 it’s a bigger add on that some owners chose to not have. It’s a personal preference, but I totally agree with you. This house would be even more lovely with a pool right outside. We look forward to having you back at this or our other rental properties.

We stayed at this beautiful and cozy home in Las Salinas for 3 days. Three adults and a 3 year old toddler. The home is tastefully decorated with modern and rustic design with touches of native elements. Loved the local blue tile and local wood furniture. Comfy beds, linens & blankets. The A/C & water pressure was great. Filtered drinking water & basic cooking utensils are provided. Plenty of games to play with family or friends. A groundskeeper and or security guard is always on site and the property is gated. The home is close to the main paved road but there is a short drive on a dirt road. SUV recommended and 4x4 during rainy season. Zivile was great with communication prior to and during our stay. She made it a point to greet & welcome us to the home. The home was spacious and very well maintained. Overall great!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an absolutely stunning Airbnb that completely exceeded all my expectations. Nestled on a peaceful hill overlooking the breathtaking coastline of Guasacate, this beautiful house offered the perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the serene sounds of nature and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The house itself was impeccably designed, featuring spacious rooms adorned with stylish decor and large windows that framed the incredible views. Waking up to the sight of the ocean was nothing short of magical! The location was ideal—just a short drive to the amazing surf and beach life that Guasacate is known for. We spent our days soaking up the sun, enjoying the surf, and exploring the local culture, all while knowing we had a cozy retreat to return to. One of the highlights of our stay was the fresh food and fruit available on-site. We indulged in delicious tropical fruits every morning

The listing is beautiful and as described! Kitchen in fully stocked and I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Las Salinas. A few things to note–I was without electricity 3 of my 7 days. This is not Zivile's fault, but it meant that I had to work in town one of the days as the back-up battery had also died. I spent more time/money in town as I couldn't cook in the dark (gets dark right at 6pm) and didn't have reception at the property. Without having a backup generator, this is a risky choice for working remotely during the rainy season. My additional electricity charge was nominal, but if you are using the A/C at all you will incur additional charges. If I had electricity every day my costs would have been ~$50. I was surprised there is a night guard who watches the property and a grounds keeper during the day. As a solo female traveler I initially had reservations, but they were both very friendly. While the property is private, I was rarely 'alone'.

Zivile' place was great for our stay in Popoyo. Very clean (except for a bout of ants ) but they responded immediately to remedy the situation. Alex the gardener was very friendly. We enjoyed our morning talks with him after he tended to Mary and Joseph. It would be nice to provide a few more towels. Thank you Zivile and Michael.

The place is beautiful and very quiet. My girlfriend and I found the perfect place to live a month and work remotely. It's a little further from the beach, but it's pretty good on a motorbike (with racks for surfboards!). A big thank you also to the caretaker Alex who was a good man throughout the stay. I recommend it!
