Casa Laura was an absolute dream for us. It is off the beaten path, which seemed like it was going to be a bigger deal than it actually was. We rented ATV’s instead of a car which was totally the right choice. It made getting around much easier and so fun! The beach was so incredible, whales and dolphins the entire time. We enjoyed the kayaks and SUPs that were provided. And I can’t say enough positive things about Carlos, the caretaker. He was so friendly and responsive, took every opportunity to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. All in all, this was a fantastic house with a fantastic host and team. We would love to stay here again!

We are so happy you made the decision to stay at Casa Laura! Carlos & Nora and I all like being a small part of your chance to make some wonderful lifetime memories. We hope you’ll consider coming back someday.
Our stay at Laura's home was fabulous-better than we expected. The setting was absolutely beautiful-such a treat to see whales (moms & babies) breaching in the distance, stingrays jumping, colorful fish amongst the rocks (while snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding). The house was very comfortable, kitchen well stocked, there were spacious areas with comfortable furniture for relaxing both inside and out. Pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all. The care taker was prompt and skilled at helping us with questions and instructions, his wife provided a few delicious meals. As a family of 7 adults, a toddler, and an infant, we all loved staying a Casa Laura and can't wait to visit again.
Everything was perfect. The house was very well equipped and there were no problems with the amenities. Carlos and Nora were very attentive during our stay. The house and the views are beautiful, perfect to get out of the routine. A good place to stay with friends or family.
Other than the drive to Casa Laura it was great. We rented small cars and the drive following the directions from Los Barilles was very difficult - we should have had a 4x4. On return we took the longer way that was mostly paved and it was much better. I’d advise anyone renting vehicles to get an suv. The house was very good and well equipped. The beds all very comfortable. It was great to have the laundry, the paddle boards, and the extras. Carlos and Nora provided dinners for us that were great and very reasonably priced.
Staying at this beautiful beach house was an absolute dream! The location is unbeatable, with the ocean just steps away, allowing us to enjoy peaceful beach walks, stunning sunrises, and even whale watching right from the property. The house itself was impeccably clean, well-stocked, and designed to feel cozy, perfect for our family’s Christmas getaway. The hosts thought of everything, making our stay seamless and stress-free. Carlos and Nora were incredibly helpful and the nicest people, they made sure we had everything we needed, from snorkelling gear to thoughtful local recommendations, they truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to create such special holiday memories. Highly recommend and hope to return one day!
We had a great stay at Casa Laura. Steve and Laura's place is set up for fun. It is the second time we have spent a week at this paradise. We settled right in, relaxed, read, beach combed, snorkeled and fished. The snorkeling is world class and the house has a closet full of fins, masks and snorkels. The kitchen is set up for large groups and has everything you need to prepare your own meals. Make sure to go to the taco stand in Cardonal on Saturday or Sunday night. We went fishing with Vicente and caught snapper and pompano. We made ceviche and grilled fish 2 nights. I also caught fish out front from the kayak on my fly rod. Carlos takes pride in the house and keeps it clean and good working order. His english is pretty good and he knows when to check in. He and his wife, Nora, served us an amazing dinner the night we arrived.

Thank you for the very nice review! We hope you do decide to buy a place down here…it would be great to have you as neighbors!
This place is beautiful! We stayed here with 7 adults and 3 kids under 5 and it was incredible! Very private. We only saw one or two other people on the beach the whole time. Carlos was very helpful and his wife cooked incredible meals and even made a birthday cake for my mother in law! It is a little off the beaten path but it is totally worth it. All the beds were comfortable and we felt right at home! Would highly recommend!
Amazing location! Laura is super responsive and helpful. Carlos and Nora’s service top notch. We loved it all!
The house was lovely and I can’t say enough about the proximity to the ocean! Right outside the door! The kids all had a wonderful time in the pool and exploring the beach! Very quiet and we felt very safe.
Nothing but great things to say about Laura’s place ! A wonderful stay ! One of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed at, with an unbeatable view, great vibes and so clean and masterfully equipped (including every kitchen appliance you may think of, as well as ziplock bags, batteries, sunscreen, printer, coffee…) we will be back soon. Carlos was very kind and responsive, and his wife cooks delicious ! Truly a great place ! The only one thing to note (that isn’t Laura’s responsibility) is that there is ongoing construction work on both sides of the house.
We had a great time. This was not our first time in Punta Pescadero, but our first time renting a house. Laura is a very responsive host, she provided us with a lot of useful information and recommendations. Carlos and Nora are very helpful. We had Nora's kitchen food and I highly recommend it. We had the whole beach to ourselves! We definitely would like to go back. Thank you Laura.
Absolutely amazing place. Lots to don’t your willing to adventure a short distance. Carlos and his wife were incredible and she made some great meals for us. Tons a sea shelling right out the back door. We rented UTV’s and it made us much more mobile for adventures. Definitely coming back.

Thank you Cameron! Carlos & Nora said it was a pleasure hosting your group. We do hope you'll come back again some day!
We could not be happier with our stay at Casa Laura for our extended family reunion! The layout of the home is ideal for multiple families. We had 5 family units including babies and young children and with the separate cement walls it was amazingly quiet. The open bar from the kitchen looking out over the infinity pool, hot tub and ocean was phenomenal! It made those on kitchen duty feel like they were still on vacation! We also had Senora Nora cater dinners for most of the nights which was a luxury that really helped all of those, especially with young children, feel like they were still on vacation. She is an amazing chef! We did have to watch the toddlers constantly as there is no railing around the pool/hot tub and many drop offs with the tiered balconies. The home also has paddle boards, kayaks and lots of assorted snorkel gear that we were able to piece together and enjoy. Carlos, the property manager, was super helpful, friendly and responsive. We hope to return next year!
Our family of 10 spent 10 wonderful days at Casa Laura for Christmas. Carlos and Nora, the caretakers had decorated a tree for us and added warm Christmasy touches around the house. The house is very comfortable and well laid out for a large group. The kitchen is well appointed. The kids spent hours in the pool and hot tub, searching for shells on the beach, playing cornhole and lounging in the hammock. Laura is a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. Carlos and Nora are warm and always ready to help. It is very remote but so beautiful and peaceful. We’re missing the sound of the waves!
