A very nice place to go to rest and feel calm. Everything was very clean and the service was very friendly.

Excellent accommodation with very good hospitality, a very peaceful and timeless place (intimate). We were with our 1 year old daughters and the host had two cribs, they were very well received just like us. The outdoor shower is a real highlight and it's extremely nice even when it rains like the pool. We recommend staying with these hosts, it's worth it!

A fantastic place. I own a hotel nearby and when I need to stay elsewhere I always stay here. The design is incredible, the amenities are amazing, and it's truly underpriced for what you get.

This was our 2nd visit and everything about this place brings us peace and tranquility. The staff, every one of them, make you feel like you belong there. We will return again and again with visiting guests. Thank you Mike and Jennifer and the entire staff.

Aves is one of the best hotels in Montezuma. With it’s beautiful architecture, thoughtful design and the surrounding nature, it is truly unbeatable. This is my second time staying and absolutely love it once again. We will be back! If you can, hurry and book now!

The most beautiful facility so far in all of Costa Rica. The room is nicely decorated and the outdoor shower is a hit Our room was right on the upper pool and so we always had a view of our son. The breakfast is very tasty. We didn't use it, but the yoga place is a dream with a view of the sea. Communication with Mike and his team was spotless. We would definitely come back!

One of the coolest places I’ve ever had the privilege of staying in. We only spent a couple nights there and we didn’t want to leave. The owner, Mike, and his staff were great, friendly, and very helpful. The grounds were pristine and beautiful. Would love to come back some time

If you have a car - we 100% recommend staying at Mike’s place. Like…. Seriously. My boyfriend and I came for three days and each one was better than the next! It is possible without a car if you have constant access to transportation to get to the downtown - Mike’s place is located up a big hill which is why. It was quiet, beautiful and peaceful. The pools were the perfect temperature at night and looked super pretty with the lights. We stayed in the king suite/villa and had everything we needed! A great fridge with an ice tray to have constant ice water and the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable. We highly recommend staying in these suites as well because of the outdoor shower with TWO rainfall shower heads. It felt like the ultimate luxury. The large patio was a plus too! We absolutely loved how easy it was to get around the property and the little spots for resting (like the hammocks) were perfect. If you are in between picking places in Montezuma highly consider picking Aves!

If in a few minutes from Montezuma you're looking for a nicer place to stay in a dreamy setting, then this is the perfect place for you. Here we saw more birds, monkeys and hummingbirds right by the pool than on some of a tour. Top address.

Extremely high end and beautiful place!! Very clean, comfy, and safe. The restaurant is open for breakfast. Bring your own food and you will be happy. You need a car or taxi to get here from Montezuma. It is easy to go back and forth if you have a car and Aves is beautiful and clean and worth it. I did my own yoga a few times in the most beautiful shala but check ahead of time to see if other events or repairs are going on if you want to do that. I went during October and it was very peaceful.

Beautiful place, I loved everything from the pools, the rooms, the green areas, the bathroom, the bed, the amenities of the villas, it was wonderful. The place excellent, but the communication wasn´t good. Nina and Arelis, I think it was the name were very kind. I do not like the fact that the communication with the reception is only by whatsapp and takes hours to respond the messages. I think it is something that should improve because the place is wonderful and we will stay in the place again.
