Where to start? It was like a little slice of heaven. It was my 1st solo trip, and Ismael reassured me prior to my arrival, that everything would be OK, and not to worry. He helped me to get over any fears that I had. I then knew I was in good hands. I arrived, and I most certainly was in good hands. He's so kind hearted, and genuine. He was always available to answer any questions I had. He helped me with booking rides, and ordering food. He gave me so many wonderful restaurant recommendations. I ordered out every night, other than one time. I did not want to miss a minute of staying at the property. I did go to the beach one day, but I was looking so forward to getting back to the house, because I LOVED it there. The pool is amazing. The whole outdoor area is a sanctuary. The wildlife was so cool to watch. SO MANY MONKEYS! The house is very clean. Beds and bedding are extremely comfortable. Great water pressure. Already booking my next stay there. Thank you, Ismael.

Ismael was a fantastic host and acted as our personal tour guide. Provided a ton of information regarding the area and went out of his way to book a tour of the National Park and Zip Lining. He even booked our rental car and a private chef. Made our trip so easy to navigate. The house was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend staying at the Jungle Roost.

Don’t hesitate to book this place… From start to finish, the host was extremely accommodating, the place was BEYOND our expectations. Ismael had incredible recommendations that made it absolutely magical for our family… I felt right at home and would 100% recommend. We absolutely saw more wildlife at this Airbnb than anywhere else during our trip. Hands-down the BEST Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at!!!!

Jingle roost was a great place for our family (grandparents, parents, and kid) to stay. We loved that the location felt secluded but was still close to the beach and restaurants. We loved watching the howler monkeys come through every day while we hung at the pool. The kitchen was a good setup for cooking at home, including the outdoor grill and cook space. The rooms are comfortable. There are a lot of stairs, which we don’t mind but heads up if you do! The beach just down the street is less busy than the main part of Manuel Antonio and we really enjoyed that, and got to see sloths and monkeys while we hung out in the shade under the trees there. Ismael was there to greet us and was very helpful with setting us up with a few tours and local suggestions. He always responded to our messages quickly! We definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful, clean home with great amenities and a nice pool. The host was very responsive, communicated well, and handled everything quickly.! Loved seeing the wildlife from the pool-sloths, monkeys, and iguanas were such a cool bonus. Everything you need wrapped into one perfect stay!

Perfect place to stay We're really in the jungle!! Ismaël is perfect. He waited for us after our late arrival, and thanks to him, we were able to take care of a lot of things. Fishing charter Restaurant And all the little details you need It’s a real plus for the house. We probably want to come back, and in this case, definitely come back to Jungle Roost. Eric

Ismael was a 5 star host. So responsive and helpful. He even did the grocery shopping and tour arrangements for us. The villa is gorgeous. The pool and wildlife are amazing. Everything you could possible need is provided. We have stayed in Manuel Antonio several times and this is our favorite place to stay. We loved our visit and would highly recommend this villa.

What a wonderful home to stay in! Not only was Ismael an amazing host, but the surroundings and wildlife here are so incredible. We saw howler and capuchin monkeys on the property as well as a sloth one day. The kids loved the pool.

Jungle Roost is literally at tree height in the jungle. So its name is spot on! The home is perfect and has everything to stay comfortable and have an amazing experience. We loved morning coffee on the patio watching the hummingbirds in the trees. Howler monkeys lounged in the trees above the pool deck and made us feel right at home. Beds are super comfortable and AC in each room works very well. The hike to and from the beach was a personal favorite, but it’s not for the faint of heart. Just be careful hiking down to the beach as it’s steep. The hike back up to the house will get your heart rate delightfully elevated and then you have a gorgeous pool waiting on you at the end. Ismael also arranged a beach club day at a local resort, which was one of our favorite days. We also found a local beach club as we walked the beach, and they were happy to give us chairs, food and drinks, so either option is great. This house has it all and we loved it! Ismael was a great host.

Our group of six spent two fantastic weeks at jungle Roost. The kitchen has all of the basics, and we prepared meals there everyday. We saw howlers everyday, capuchins on some days, some small red monkeys on a couple of days, agoutis, and iguanas, all on the property. At the beach we saw a toucan, some very good views of macaws, and quite a few capuchins. We didn't rent a car, and it's about a 15-minute walk straight down playitas road to the beach, and about 20 minutes up the hill to restaurants and grocery stores. There is a lot of up and down in the area, so for some of our group walking wasn't a good option. Ismael hooked us up with a van service that we used quite a bit during our stay. Ismael was wonderful for our entire stay, booking excursions, transports, making restaurant recommendations, and helping us with any questions we had about the property and the area. I highly recommend this property and this host.

We read the one review that stated that they needed to go back and change all their previous reviews for Airbnb since this one sets the new standard for what 5-star means. So to say we went in with high expectations is an understatement. Even then we were blown away by the place, the location, the wildlife on the property, the hosts concierge services and amazing recommendations. If this place is available during your time in Costa Rica it's a a must stay. The value way exceeds the cost. If we needed anything Ismeal was all over it. We cannot recommend enough.

An amazing family experience. The home is beautiful, the host is extremely friendly and helpful, and the location cannot be beat! A private jungle oasis. We saw more wildlife from the pool deck than any of our tours. Don’t hesitate…book this place!
