The house is very beautiful, with an amazing view of the sea, good location near beaches. Spacious kitchen and living room, very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, super spacious bathrooms. The pool is very good, but it had a lot of chlorine. The size is perfect to cool off. Overall a great stay. I'd go back

The accommodation is beautiful, the house is much nicer than what you see in the photos, the view is spectacular, you can see many birds and the sea is beautiful. Everything except some kitchen utensils was very clean, the bathroom, towels and bedding were impeccable. It's true that it's next to the street so you do hear cars, but it's not that annoying if you're not focused on it. The pool does look bigger in photos than in real life, it's quite small but it's good for cooling off, the bad thing is that it had excess chlorine, which was quite annoying. The lounge chairs that appear in the photos were not there, but there is a very comfortable hammock! Airbnb shows a different location than the actual location, it's pretty close to where airbnb shows, only that it's an area closer to the beach on the main street. On the sides there are very humble houses, so it is not so private but it is fenced and with enough space. The beds were very comfortable. 8/10

We had an amazing time here, stayed three weeks. The view is amazing. The pool is perfect for hot days. It’s located in a great place to attend many activities. Not far from ceviches in the village, a local market or the national park. Carlos is always helpful and ready to make your stay pleasant. If you’re lucky enough to get your days here don’t wait to book it! Pura Vida!

We found everything and such was described and offered. The house is fully stocked and hassle free of any kind. Carlos was attentive to all the queries and both the home and its surroundings are very beautiful. On a site I would go back to and recommend for small or large groups.

We arrived very late because of the traffic jams but we were still well received. Every request we made was met quickly.

Absolutely beautiful home and property. Very clean, very easy to find. If you’re a bird watcher, you will be treated to any marine species you can think of as well as various raptors. The view of the bay, from the patio, is outstanding. Getting in and out of the driveway and gate are challenging, if you’re not used to driving in Costa Rica. The property is on a busy highway, so the occasional air brake sounds from large trucks are quite loud. Overall, this place is a very good find, if you can get it. A lot of activities and restaurants and bars in either direction. Thanks for having us!

The house is super cute, everything worked perfectly, the view is spectacular and the place is easy to find as it is facing the main street. My wife and I and some friends had a great stay at this house. The view from the back porch is amazing, with lots of birds, the ocean, and beautiful sunsets. The house is very clean and comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to cook great meals. If you are adventurous, you can hike down to the beach at low tide and there are local stores within walking distance. Carlos is a very responsive and friendly host. We are very grateful for the fantastic experience we had here!

This is our second time and we will definitely be back, the place is perfect for having a good time and family. Carlos always attentive. I recommend this place 100%

Very nice view, safe gated house, and most importantly, it was clean

House is as described. Our party of 4 had a comfortable stay. Hot showers has been a problem in all our AirBnb stays in Costa Rica. This one was the same too. Its a hit or a miss. The kitchen has all basic appliances but no spices, salt or anything else you'll need to actually make a meal. AC was great in all rooms and the ocean view is amazing. Overall, a great stay.

Excellent place, it feels like home, the family is delighted, it really is even better than the pictures. Carlos is an example of customer service and service, before during and after it was the best care that can be received. I totally recommend this beautiful place and will definitely be back

We had a wonderful week in this great place. The house had everything we (3 adults and 3 kids) needed. The place is right on the road, but we quickly got used to the noise there may be. And the views are compensated for everything! We spent hours looking at the sea and watching red Aras fly by daily.

Carlos's house is really big, on private grounds. All amenities are present. Possibility of activity in the northern region, such as Monteverde, Tortugas Island... Carlos was always available, despite a happy event expected with his wife. Just the proximity to the road, but it must be recognized that in Costa Rica there is no choice sinceit is unique, brings some noise. I recommend Carlos's place for his place, the morning view of the sea from the terrace and pool after a good day of hiking or beach. Thank you Carlos

The house is very comfortable, clean and has a beautiful view. We use the grill and dine outside. The pool is very clean and exactly what one occupies. There are restaurants and supermarkets in the same location.

This is the second time we've stayed here, we love the private place, the ocean view and the private pool. The place is very large and well equipped and clean, Carlos is very friendly and answers any questions very quickly I would definitely come back again.

Nestled in the enchanting town of Tarcoles, Costa Rica, I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carlos' place that exceeded all expectations. First and foremost, the location of this Airbnb was nothing short of breathtaking. Perched on a hilltop, it offered unparalleled panoramic views of the mesmerizing Pacific Ocean, stretching out as far as the eye could see. Every morning, as the golden rays of the sun gently illuminated the landscape, I found myself in awe of the natural beauty that unfolded before me. It was as if I had stepped into a postcard-worthy paradise. While other reviewers complained about noise, yes that is true; However, we hardly spent time at the airbnb, since we were mostly out on tours. At night, we just put ear thingies in (which Carlos provided), and all was coo.l. Besides, we were tired so you could hardly hear anything. Some ideas for those planning a trip: ATV, Horseback riding, Water Water Rafting, Monkey Jungle, ZipLining. Plus so much more.

Excellent place

It really is a million dollar view. The area is in a major road so there’s noise and traffic but if you want a different experience than staying in a hotel, it’s great!

You’ll love the view! We were offered to check in earlier which was great! The guard/helper showed everything to us and overall we felt pretty safe. The kitchen is well equipped but no spices/salt/pepper… The view is amazing and the pool was very clean. The only downside is the traffic noise.!! The property is on the main road and it’s extremely loud. Turning on the air conditioner in the bedrooms helped to cover the car and truck engine sounds…. The owner is extremely helpful and responsive. Unfortunately we didn’t have warm water -which the owner tried to fix but it seemed out of his hands and more of a supply issue of the water company…anyways…. It was so hot while we were there and we got used to the cold and refreshing showers;))

The place is magical. The house is very spacious with a peace and vizta to the spectacular peaceful sea at any time. House that is worth staying again, recommended.

The accommodation is just as seen in the photographs, it is very spacious and private with plenty of very comfortable parking space for 8 people. The view is gorgeous and the private pool is the gem of the place. It is also a nearby area and a few meters away are all supermarkets and shops, I would definitely return.

We loved staying at Carlos Eduardo’s place! The view of the beach was fantastic. I still miss it every morning! The kitchen was well stocked, though there were no extras like salt, cooking oil, etc, which made it a bit tricky, but some locals gave us a bit of salt and butter and we were fine. Certainly not anything to knock a star off! The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, and the beds comfy. We found many local gems in the area - our favorites were the panaderia Delicias de mi Trigo down the road south a bit and the restaurant Vista Mar, which was our favorite restaurant during our whole trip! Also not far from here we visited Costa Rica’s tallest waterfall, which was one of our favorite destinations of our entire trip! His place was centrally located, yet away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. The pool was a delight after a hot day. I was nervous about the house being on the main road, but traffic quieted down at night and we slept just fine. Would come back again!!

Eduardo was a great host. The place was a good fit for our needs, close to Jaco and Herradura. It is very important to have a rental car for getting around. I felt safe in this location. We had a great time seeing the local birds and insects during coffee. The macaws visited and flew over every morning. Iguanas are in the yard but you need to be looking for them. As a family we enjoyed our stay.

We were a family with five kids and the house was perfect!!! The view from the house and yard is perfect, the house is fully equipped and comfortable , the host's response is excellent and very fast we will definitely be back

We booked the house for a month. Initially we worried the location would be too loud because of the proximity to the highway but it was not a problem. Carlos provided ear plugs but we didn’t need them. Danilo , the groundskeeper cared for the pool and yard. We also had a housekeeper come once a week for cleaning. There are wonderful restaurants nearby, especially LaOstra and I would recommend going into Tarcoles to get your fresh fruit Vegetables and fish. This was excellent value for the money.

We loved the ocean view... we could see lapas, several types of birds, squirrels and iguanas... we had the option of a mini supermarket to buy things that were needed and we were 15 minutes away from Jaco... the house was super clean and in very good condition ... the best part was outside with the pool, terrace, garden and the view my children had a great time... and the location super close we arrived in less than 1.5hr... we hope to be able to return!

AMAZING view!!! stunning place. Too bad it's right on the busy road so you hear the traffic but for us the view on the ocean made up for that.

It was one of the best places I have stood in. The view at 530am was as beautiful as the 515pm sunset. To have a cup of coffee or a glass of good whiskey listening to the ocean crash on the rocks was so peaceful we loved it. Carlos was always a text away if I needed anything. Communication with Don Carlos was super good... The place is excellent for sharing with the family and spending a few days relaxing... The sound of the sea at such a short distance makes the place spectacular... It is very spacious to go with the family... The rooms are meals... Impeccable cleanliness... The place is super close to beaches such as Aguja, Herradura and Jaco... We will definitely return

A family place, safe and a spectacular view ❤

We loved our stay! The views over the Pacific are incredible - photos don’t do it justice. The house is located 15 minutes or less from restaurants, a good grocery store (Auto Mercado Jaco), and it was super close to the crocodile tour we were in town for (Jungle Crocodile Safari). The house is super spacious, the air conditioning in the rooms works great, and the pool was the perfect size for our two young kids. We saw scarlet macaws multiple times a day, and tons of other birds and lizards from the back porch. It was the perfect weekend stop on our trip through Costa Rica!

Carlos’s home is simply wonderful. It’s located near beaches, grocery stores and restaurants. The house is clean, and comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. San Jose airport is a 90min drive as well as parque nacional Manuel Antonio, the roads are smooth so it’s an easy drive. Carlos is very helpful and communicates quickly. We were so pleased with our stay, it made for a relaxing vacation. 10/10 would recommend to all.

Great place to stay, roomy, kitchen, has a gate for security and what amazing views off back patio. My wife and I renewed our vows out back. The pool was amazing and close to restaurants and markets.
