Ascension

Ascension is a great host with an awesome place. Love the location with easy access to multiple beaches, close grocery stores, numerous restaurants, and close enough to Puerto Viejo if desired but far enough away to avoid the bustle if desired. Very clean cabin. AC was great. Host was always super responsive. I stayed for several weeks while working remote and there was a great space for me to work. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely loving staying at Acensions. Its perfect. Perfect location. Has everything you need and even things you didnt know you needed. Showed up and had two bikes for us. We were worried about transportion and acension already had it. Also was worried about it not having laundry machine but they ended up haviing one, its excellent and saves us so much money. Cant thank them enough. And we decided to stay for another 3 months because we like it so much. PURA VIDA :)

Great private cabin, very clean, also has a washer for clothes which is nice. Cabin was very clean and well stocked. Jose was very responsive to any questions. Saw a sloth, monkeys, tucans, hummingbirds and more animals from the patio. Enjoyed our stay.

Everything in the cabin was just as Jose had described. Great place for seating on the veranda watching the birds and listening to the howlers. The walk to the main road is lovely as it's surrounded by jungle, but I'd say it takes a little longer than 20 mins in flip flops and take a torch with you if you come back at night. Overall, a great place

Beautiful little cottage with the essentials. The air conditioning was welcome in the room as well as the mosquito nets in the windows. The place is private and well secured, with lights that turn on when there is movement. The terrace with hammock is nice. For those who plan to travel by bicycle, the path on which the cabaña is located is not paved and there are hills and large stones. With a mountain bike it was easier than city cruiser bikes but the ride is still demanding especially at 32 Celsius. If you have a car, it would be easier, of course. Our stay was still lovely.

Just book it already! This place was so perfect, we felt right at home here. I loved the privacy and peaceful space but the fact that we were still so very close to the action. The AC was a plus, as well as all the extras in the kitchen. Jose has really done an amazing job with this place. My children And i will be returning for sure!

Very nice house in the middle of the jungle very easy to reach and in a safe place the same has full kitchen 2 refrigerators TV bathroom and a room with A/C and a very nice deck has very good Internet and Jose the host is very friendly attentive and flexible with everything recommended

We LOVED this little Jungle House! We stayed here for almost 2 months and absolutely loved it. It is so perfectly tucked away in the jungle but also close to everything you need and want. The privacy and serenity is perfect. The deck is absolutely the BEST part of this house! Laying in the hammock, under the roof, and watching the rain storms will easily be your favorite thing to do. We encountered so much wildlife and truly loved being tucked away in the jungle but just a short bike ride away from the beach, the stores, and the downtown. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed for a long stay. The wifi is fast and allowed 2 of us to work our full time jobs from the computer. The outdoor shower was so fun to use and perfect for sand rinsing after the beach. Jose was very helpful and picked us up when we arrived and personally brought us and our luggage to the house. He was very responsive whenever we reached out and always polite and kind. Definitely rent it!

This cabin is absolutely perfect for families or any small group who likes privacy. The location is tucked away from town in the rainforest and the property itself feels very secluded. There are neighbors but you can’t see them and they can’t see you. We rode bikes back and forth to town a few times and it was such a lovely and adventurous trek for my 7yo and 13 yo. There were lots of thoughtful touches, like the motion sensor lights that come on for you outside at night when you hang wet swimsuits on the line, that made me adore this place. My husband and I slept in the room with ac and I have never gotten better sleep at the beach in my life. Usually I’m too hot to sleep well or too cold from ac. This room holds the temp super well so it stayed pleasantly cool. It was also very quiet and very dark. My kids loved the loft bed and they basically lived up there the entire time we were at the cabin. Great place, well worth it!

Staying with Jose was the best choice. The place is beautiful, the house is a dream. We were very comfortable as the cabin has everything and more than necessary and José was very attentive to us. We would be without hesitation. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

Everything just as seen in the photos. The house is very well equipped to enjoy the nature that surrounds it. Jose is very kind and attentive to everything!

Amazing stay !!! Well recommend, so so peaceful 🦥 , clean , beautiful surroundings, you can see a huge family of monkeys right outside on the porch , they are usually on the trees that are on the right side of the cabin , the host jose was so kind and helpful with all, such a respect person.
