This home is absolutely stunning. It is designed, impeccably maintained, and feels both luxurious and welcoming. Very safe at wwwPETER was, without question, the best Airbnb host we’ve ever had. His communication was exceptional from the moment we booked until the day we left. He was incredibly responsive, proactive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had an amazing vacation. He arranged everything for us, including airport transportation(2ish hrs from Managua), horseback riding, in-home massages, and an outstanding private chef. Every recommendation and service he coordinated was top-notch and made our trip complete. The home is located on the main road on the beach side through Hacienda Iguana. I would recommend renting a golf cart (which Peter did for us as well!), as it’s the best way to get to the beach, restaurants, and the market. He also has a couple of beach cruisers. Peter, the staff, the spacious and beautiful home…This place deserves alllllthe stars and then some.

We had a great time with our family of 6 at Peter’s villa in Hacienda Iguana. We took advantage of the private chef and maid services while there. Meals were healthy and delicious. Our villa was always spotless and the staff is so helpful. Peter is a wonderful host. He’s very attentive, thoughtful, & kind. The surf was great, but more advanced for our son. It was harder to find beginner surf spots. Peter organized transportation and day trips for us. We ventured out to Grenada and learned about the history, we went horseback riding on the beach, and explored the village. The beach club is great to get to know the locals and have a cocktail for happy hour. Overall, a fantastic trip! Would highly recommend for groups, large or small, and families.

We had an amazing time at Casa Calala, Peter was the best, always responsive to our needs and all the questions we had . The house is 2 min from the beach. beautiful landscaping and pool was warm and clean. I was impressed with ahacienda Iguana. I'd definitely like to come back.

Great stay, great host, great place. Peter was attentive to every request and need, both before and during the trip. A great host! The place certainly matches what the pictures show: comfortable rooms, a large living-dining room, and a well-equipped kitchen. The pool area is a highlight of the place. Steps from the beach, on the 2nd line, there is easy and nearby access to the Colorados surf area. Just walk 10 minutes to the north of that beach to surf at Panga Drops. The recommendation to have lunch and dinner with Vanessa as a chef is undoubtedly the best option, since there are not many places to dine at Hacienda Iguana, and in terms of cost and quality, it is very convenient. Highly recommended.

We had a great trip to Nicaragua and Peter was an awesome host. Always helpful and we never felt like we needed anything. Very large and comfortable house. We arranged chef through Peter and the food was amazing. Such a good relaxing trip. No stress!

Casa Cálala is an amazing place close to the beach and with all the amenities needed for a relaxing surf filled vacation. Thanks to Peter for being an amazing host and we would love to come back next year!
