A true piece of heaven. The location was everything. waking up to the sound of the waves with a stunning, quiet beach right in front of our room was unforgettable. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and full of thoughtful details. The kitchen is fully equipped and a joy to use, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and so comfortable (even the towels were amazing!). We were always provided with drinking water, which i always find a blessing here😅 What truly made our stay special was Rick, the kindest host that became a friend- welcoming, helpful, and great company. He made us feel at home from the very first moment. For a surfing couple, this place was a dream in every way. If we come back to Nicaragua, there’s no doubt we’ll stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil and authentic experience. I already miss it!

The space is designed with such care that you not only rest, but also reconnect with yourself. It's a place that has it all: comfort, cleanliness, beautiful design, nature, beach, genuine care and human warmth. Here I was able to rest deeply, move my body, work my mind and simply feel good. Everything was very perfect. It felt like being at home. ❤️ My partner and I were happy and in love with the place, and we even thought about returning in the future. The cleanliness and the place is very impeccable. The hosts, in this case Rick and Charlotte, are very friendly and very good people. They gave us clear and precise instructions. Without a doubt, the place is beautiful. It is ideal for surf lovers and those who want privacy at all times. I recommend it 100%

We spent the week at Casa Dos Rocas and I am already planning my next trip back. Buck's place has everything you need to feel at home. It's centrally located near some great surfbreaks and great local food joints. The waves were amazing with several uncrowded breaks right out the back door; Fish & Chips and an unnamed break I like to call Rick's Right, even though its a left point break. Buck booked a boat trip to Puerto Sandino for us and we scored some killer waves with just three of us in the lineup for 2 hours! Rick and Charlotte were our guides to many great surfspots including Rick's right, Fish and chips, Porto Sandino, Miramar and the Jetty. We also took a rode trip north to the boom and caught head high, sick barrels. After several days of surfing, the ice bath on the back patio was a great recharge to keep going. Thank you Charlotte for all the hospitality and amazing surfing photos as well. Romantic, quiet getaway or surf trip - this is the place!

I stayed in Miramar but learned about Playa Hermosa on a boat trip from there and really enjoyed the waves there, so I decided to change it up, and I am so glad I did. Charlotte and Buck were the best and picked me up. They offer daily courtesy trips up to the general market 10 minutes away, so guest always have what they need. The store is also where the bus stop to Leon or Managua is, and they shared with me the schedule. They also have a motorcycle for rent with a surfboard rack, which is great if you're like me and know your way around since its only 15 minutes away from all the other breaks. The property is well equipped to feel at home, and with only a few private rooms and plenty of open space, you don't feel cramped. It was quiet and peaceful there and I can't wait to come back longer next time to spend more time relaxing.

Amazing vibes at this beach resort! I loved this place from the first sight! And I’m not easy to please! Beautiful location in front of the most tranquil beach, with pool and hammocks, shade trees with comfortable beach chairs. Free contintal breakfast with fresh breads from the local bakery, fruit, coffee, and teas. Filtered water is always on hand. Charlotte was very accommodating to any request and made sure we were comfortable. Rooms are nice and cozy, big enough, clean, and with AC! Fresh clean towels, sunscreen, surf wax by the board rack, there is everything that you may need and more! Lots of space to hang and dry your wet clothes, very clean shared toilets. I was afraid of that, but really can’t complain!! Definitely worth the price. Only one thing I regret- we couldn’t stay longer I will definitely come back! Best place we visited during our central-American surf trip 🙂

Came here last minute because the swell report was better than in the south. Waves right out front and nice pool as well. I had an epic time. I’m a beginner surfer and this has one of the best places to learn how to surf. There is also a more advanced wave and those surfers had a ton of uncrowded waves to themselves. Great service and well run. Would highly recommend. There was only one room available so after 10 minutes I decided it's well worth it, so I added another day to my stay.

We had an amazing stay at Dos Rocas! The house is right on the beach, perfectly located between two great surf spots – ideal for surf lovers. We also really enjoyed the pool, especially after a session in the waves. The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. We loved relaxing in the hammocks with ocean views. Communication with the host was smooth and super friendly. You can feel how much love and care went into creating this place. Highly recommend for a peaceful and surf-friendly getaway!
