This home is incredible. It is absolutely worth the trip. We were looking for something in mid or southern pacific coast, ultimately decided on uvita for a less touristy vibe but still close to lots of activities. It was the right choice. The home is beautiful and so inviting. Licho and his wife are incredible hosts. We had them cook almost every meal. Everything was delicious! It was very appreciated because we were so tired at the end of each day! There is a waterfall 5 minutes away with great jumping platforms. There are delicious restaurants near by, and the beach was about 7 minute drive. There was tons of wildfire in the backyard, with plenty of visits from monkeys. We hooked everything through Licho including our tours, rental car, and ride to and from SJO. You can do great excursions from town which is a 5 minute drive. If we’re ever back in Costa Rica we would absolutely stay here again!

11 out of 10 - There is nothing I can add that hasn’t already been covered in every review. But I do want to acknowledge the on-site caretaker, Licho, who, along with his wife, Darling, were some of the warmest, friendliest, and hospitable people you will meet anywhere. And I will say that this property was one of the highlights of my family’s week in CR. We hope to come back again in the near future. Thank you, Nicolas, for making your villa available!

This is a luxury villa. For two families it was absolutely perfect. The pool is impeccable and the space set up around it are attention to detail, comfortable, beautiful from every angle and well thought out. We all could relax around the pool together or separately and have space in gorgeous surroundings. House also fantastic and so many different eating areas :")

We had a wonderful vacation! The house was beautiful, clean, and perfect for our two families. The pool area was our favorite! Licho and his wife Darling were so helpful and her cooking was delicious. Definitely a must stay in Uvita!

I am at a loss for words which is usually not the case. This house was amazing! The property was even more beautiful than the pictures. Nikolas was an amazing host but even better was Licho the caretaker of the property. Licho was incredibly helpful and just awesome, it was literally like having your own personal event and vacation planner just a stone's throw away. He coordinated, massages, ATV excursions, Zip-lines, meals and much much more. We truly don't have enough words to describe how awesome Licho is. I have been to many Latin American countries in my travels, without a doubt Costa Rica is #1, especially this particular area. If you are on the fence about planning your trip, do not wait to grab this listing, you will not be disappointed. There is soooo much to do I am already planning another trip to Nik's in the next couple of years. Also did I mention that Costa Rica is breathtaking and extremely clean. America could take a few pointers from them. Enjoy!!!

Amazing place. Licho was an amazing caregiver/host for Nicholas’ place.

The house and grounds were beautiful and exactly as we expected. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. We loved the variety of seating options outside the house to enjoy the view and the pool. The howler monkeys were active early each morning, so glad we had a sound machine for our kids. Incredible wildlife, in addition to the monkeys we saw birds, lizards, and even a land crab from the backyard.

Best spot! Recommended for anybody. Licho is a love, super available and Nicolas super nice! The villa is super clean and the view is magnificent. Absolutely requires 4x4! If you were hesitant, this is the airbnb to take!

A truly magical spot. Howler monkeys, toucans, amazing birds and cities of dragon flies in the evening. Having Licho and his family on-site was beyond helpful and Darlings dinners were lovely. There are so many outdoor spots to enjoy the surroundings that it is hard to leave but when you do, Uvita has some incredible experiences to offer. We walked to the Uvita waterfall (about 2.3 km) and did the Caño Island snorkelling tour as well as a trip to the Whales Tail as the tide went out. We were there for 6 nights and barely scratched the surface. All 10 of us (2 families) could not give high enough reviews to Dragonfly House. Book it!

Where do I even start… This place is by FAR the absolute BEST Airbnb I have EVER stayed at. Nicholas is a wonderful host, he went above and beyond our expectations. I went on a group trip to uvita and Nicholas helped us through so much, we got in a car accident right before arriving and he advised us about the local hospitals, pharmacies, etc. He helped us with our car rental issues as well and we were able to get that situated! He was very welcoming as well as the “security/second host;” licho. Licho is the guy who stays in a house up the hill to make sure we all have what we need, he cleans the house when necessary, they also cook for you if you ask them to (they have a menu) and it is very well priced! He also looks after the house since Nicolas stays in a different city. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous, with many breathtaking views. And i 10000% recommend staying here! So if you need a sign to stay here… THIS IS IT! P.S. GET A VEHICLE WITH 4x4 DRIVE !!! You WILL need it in 90% of your trip

One word.... WOW! This place is TRULY amazing. The pictures doesnt even do it justice. You would be an complete idiot if you don't pick this place. The house is beautiful. The pool is STUNNING. And the view is omg wow. I couldn't have picked a better place. Our host was fantastic! He was always one text or call away. He even saved our butts when we got stuck on a hill in the jungle near the house. Oh, and please get an 4x4 vehicle. PLEASE lol. Dont be like us lol. Last thing, there isn't much to do in Uvita. But if you drive up the coast for a few miles, you won't be disappointed.

One of the most magical, amazing stays we have ever had through Air BnB! This is hands down the best location in all of Uvita. You will be absolutely amazed at the beauty, location and overall love in this house. We can't speak highly enough about it!

Spectacular location and place. You will love it from the moment you get in. You will need a SUV but believe it will be worth it. Will come again as soon as I can.
