This is a great place. A one-minute walk close to all the shops in Samara and another minute's walk to the beach. Up to three neighbors share the pool, which is something we found perfect because you can get to know other travelers, and/or, if you're lucky, of course, you even have the pool to yourself if not all apartments are booked. We had an amazing time at Erica's and really enjoyed chilling on the balcony, and we felt really at home.

My kids and I stayed at Casa Bambula for eight days and had an amazing time. I can't recommend this place enough . First the apartment itself. It's beautiful. The second-floor view and the balcony were one of the favorite parts of our experience, just hanging out and listening to nature. It's got a very serene vibe to it. Lots of nature sounds, all kinds of birds, and even monkeys visible from the balcony sometimes. The inside is spacious, clean. Second was the location. My youngest kid is seven years old and walking far distances is just not an option, especially after long beach days. Casa Bambula was close enough to the beach where we could easily walk back and forth, walk to dinner, etc. Everything you need is within walking distance of the apartment. Lastly the host was extremely helpful, gave us lots of recommendations, and helped us out when the airline lost our luggage and we had to coordinate delivery. Book this place before someone else does!

10/10! I loved my stay so much I extended an extra night. I would book here again without hesitation. Pros: • Perfect Location: A very short walk to downtown & the beach. Works great if you don't have a car. • Remote-Work Friendly: Speedy, reliable internet that easily handled my Teams calls all week (it only dropped for 5 minutes during a crazy storm). • Host Communication: I arrived late, tired, and struggled with the lock to the gate in the dark. I messaged Leonie, and she responded instantly to assist. Things to Know: • The Sounds: Being so close to town means some road noise, plus the loud (but magical) calls of frogs & howler monkeys. I loved sitting outside and listening to the animals, but if you are a very light sleeper, you might want earplugs. • The Jungle: It’s Costa Rica, so expect a few bugs. Sometimes friendly ants wander inside—just sweep them back outside. Bottom Line: This is a fantastic place to enjoy Sámara! Pura Vida!

We are a small family of 4. The accommodation is very well located. A 5-minute walk to the beach and 2 minutes to grocery stores and a restaurant. The backyard with the pool is lovely after the beach or just before going to bed. I fully recommend it! And if you have any questions, they respond quickly!!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. It was a great location that felt quiet yet very close to coffee shops, restaurants and only a few blocks from the beach. Pretty setting. They have a wonderful detailed guide to recommend various restaurants, shopping, things to do, services.... which was very helpful. We had a few issues with water service which we understand can be intermittent at times as well as the A/C malfunctioning however the on-site manager was very responsive and helpful to get it fixed asap. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and having our morning coffee or just relaxing. We also enjoyed a dip in the lovely pool right.

Perfect place in Sámara. Close to everything you need but felt private and reclusive.

We loved our stay. Loved the large balcony and high ceilings inside. Loved the location. A bit noisy at times but we adjusted. Loved the intimacy of the courtyard and our neighbors. Overall excellent. Thank you.

Beautiful apartment and peaceful space, despite being right next to the main road in town. Absolutely amazing balcony to spend time relaxing, and many opportunities for visits from wildlife. Bed was very comfortable.

Great accomodation! Quiet even it's close to the road. well equipped! nice balcony. close to beach an d restaurants. The only thing you should be aware of, is that if the ground floor is rented as well you smell their cooking and hear them when in the living room (there is a staircase going down to the ground floor, door is is locked).

We stayed at Erica's with our 3 kiddos for 4 nights and it was one of our best stays in Costa Rica! It felt very cozy and authentic with a very equipt kitchen to help make meals for our picky toddler (blender was so appreciated!). Erica's panphlet was so professional and extremely helpful to navigate everything in the area from yoga to groceries to babysitting and restaurants. The kids loved the pool and Erica was so kind and helpful and even offered for us to check out late! Fantastic stay and would love to visit again one day!

I really enjoyed my stay. The pool was really nice, the location was very convenient to walk everywhere in Samara. Very close to the beach (maybe 5 mins walking?). The unit was very well stocked with everything that you could need. The WiFi worked well. The supermarket is right around the corner as well as shops and restaurants. The host is responsive. I recommend staying here!

Really enjoyed our stay! Great place, convenient, close to grocery, nice balcony. Very friendly and responsive host, clean place. Very happy with this stay. The pool becomes deep very quickly, something to keep in mind if you travel with small kids who can’t swim yet.
