The is my second time staying here and it’s a very nice, large and private space. Just like before, I was amazed at how well outfitted the kitchen is, and how comfortable the sofa and the bed is. The pool was the perfect size to bring my floaty to relax and cool off on these hot/dry April days! I also appreciated that it is fully fenced so my little dog could wander around and explore without worry.

It's a lovely house. I rarely feel so comfortable away from home, but Casa de la Música is more than I expected. Everything was spotless and stayed that way. It has amenities that are hard to find in one place, and the pool stays at a very pleasant temperature. I recommend it 100%!

The house was much bigger than expected and was very comfortable. The outdoor shower was very nice. Great stay!

We loved the place, large rooms, open areas, we wound down our evenings in the pool watching awesome sunsets! The mountain breeze is amazing, highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful well maintained Vila with friendly staff, nice dog that greets you on arrival and fantastic large bed in the large room. Everything was to our liking except the water. It was often off and had trouble getting warm. The showers could be better.

Beautiful spacious house, good beds, set for tall people, quiet air conditioning, clean, in short many plus points. Given the location, a 4 by 4 car is desirable. There were two minuses (1) there were several days of problems with the water supply so we could not always shower and had to flush the toilet with water from the pool. It turned out to be a leak that was resolved on the last day of our stay (2) there were road works nearby that started at 6:15 and continued until 20:45. The road works caused quite a bit of noise pollution. It would have been nice if this had been known in advance, then we would have had a choice.

Regarding the water issue, Nicaragua is a developing country and, unfortunately, the water interruption during your stay was due to a problem that affected the entire town, not just our property. While the leak on our property was resolved as quickly as possible, the broader supply challenges were outside of our control, and we appreciate your patience during that time. As for the road works, these were municipal projects that began unexpectedly and impacted the surrounding area. We understand how disruptive early and extended construction noise can be, and we regret that this affected your experience. We always aim to inform guests of any known issues in advance, and we will certainly continue to do so whenever possible. Thank you again for your stay and for your thoughtful comments. We truly value your feedback, as it helps us continue to improve and set clear expectations for future guests.

Felt very safe at Michaels house. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool and even saw monkeys from the deck. Would recommend this stay.

Nice and spacious living spaces and bedrooms. Probably the most comfortable couch in San Juan del Sur - LOL!!! The kitchen is big and has every little appliance you might need. Great location that’s not too far from town and a really good value! I would stay here again!

Me and my girlfriend spent a lovely week here and the place was perfect to work from home. The kitchen was well equipped, smart TV was great and the AC units kept us nice and cool. Only real downside was the main road isn't in great condition, as with part of the road up to the property. Probably worth mentioning that the people who look after the property live below/next to the property so you will hear them coming and going with their bikes. Overall, a tremendous value place to stay :)

Words can't describe the magical time we had. In all of our travels, this place was beyond our expectation. From the home, surroundings and amazing caretaker, Jose and crew, this place was wonderful. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, couch and so much more. We can not wait to go back. Beautiful home, country and people!
