We stayed at Bernardo’s house for 6 nights and we loved every minute. The pool and beach access /view was amazing and the house had everything we needed. Met some amazing people and had some delicious meals at the two restaurants that were within walking distance. We highly recommend this house for your vacationing needs.

This place was truly wonderful! Besides only having plastic furniture that was not really comfortable, the rooms were spacious each with their own bathroom, the kitchen and dining room were large enough for our group, and the pool was amazing! right on the ocean, we drank or morning coffee watching the macaws pick a tree to eat from, saw monkeys, iguanas and lizards! great vacation over all, thank you! Note: it is secluded, restaurants and grocery stores are about a 25 min drive, a vehicle is highly recommended to get to and from this property.

Bernardo was an amazing host. Very responsive with all communications. The family enjoyed the pool and it was well maintained. A bathroom for everyone. We got to see wild white faced monkeys too. It is reclusive so a vehicle is recommended. I would stay with this host again.

A paradise within paradise! This home was everything we were looking for—beautiful, peaceful, and tucked away just enough to feel like our own private retreat. Waking up to the sound of the ocean each morning was pure magic, and we spent most of our days relaxing in the private pool with stunning views of the ocean and lush surroundings. Every bedroom felt like its own master suite, complete with private bathrooms, and the open layout made it easy to soak in the views from the kitchen, living room, and main bedroom. Big thanks to Silvana for recommending Cevichero Arrecife—so good! We also had Chef Marcela cook for us during our stay, and her fresh, flavorful meals were such a gift. Warm, kind, and incredibly talented. With help from Bernardo, we booked some amazing excursions through Ingrid at Natura Resources—horseback riding, ATVs, and a chocolate tour that we’ll be talking about for a long time. It was the kind of stay that feeds your soul. We can’t wait to come back.

Bernardo's home is beautiful, peaceful, and situated on the beautiful pacific ocean. Everything was exactly as he described. The home is large, clean, and comfortable. The pool and the gazebo/pool house were favorites with our group! We were able to relax and enjoy the sounds of the surf and the breeze from the ocean. There were two pairs of macaws that would fly over in the morning and the evening. Paradise. The home is close to many types of activities in Jaco, Mata de Limon, and El Roble. We enjoyed an ATV trip in Tarcoles, a Jungle Crocodile Safari, and a trip to Natuwa, a local animal sanctuary. Along the way we enjoyed meals at a variety of "Sodas," small restaurants, as they are known in CR. We have to send out a big Thank You to Silvana, who tended to our every need. She's wonderful. Silvana gave us a tip about a great seafood restaurant in Salinas - Cevichero Arrecife - what a wonderful meal. We already miss sitting by the pool, looking at the sea. Pura Vida!

Great place with an amazing pool, beach and ocean view

Beautiful sunsets and very peaceful.

We spent two days in this house, we had the beach to ourselves it was magical! Macaws flying over the house and landing in the tree in the front yard, wow. The host responds quickly to our questions, the gardener cuts us a coconut and the housekeeper treats us very well. It doesn't show in the photos but the rooms are like small apartments, so you have to go outside to go to another room, but it's still very close and it's still in the yard which is closed by a gate. Negative point, we should have stayed one more day PURA VIDA!! Thanks for the stay!!
