It’s was serene, set in a private location just outside the gates of Rancho Santana resort. So it was very easy to access the resorts amenities while being in the middle nature with lots of wildlife and foliage around. Wish we didn’t have to return to “civilization.”

Really enjoyed Brendan's place. Excellent value. Private and peaceful with an expansive view of the Pacific Ocean. Saw monkeys and Nicaragua's national bird (Guardabarranco)! Brendan was an excellent host.

We had the most magical stay here, is in the most amazing spot. private, beautiful view, with a Moto was easy to pop down into Rancho Santana and enjoy their amazing beaches. The property exceeded expectations, Brendan is super helpful and response. Cannot wait to come back (hopefully for longer!) so please don't book when I want to come ;)

I cannot say enough about this beautiful place!!!! It is situated on a hilltop in the jungle with incredible views of the ocean, in a safe and secure neighborhood. The infinity pool is phenomenal and refreshing. I highly recommend laying under the stars and listening to the howlers and birds at night. The beds are very comfortable and the place was spotless and well-decorated. Brendan was a kind, responsive host. Rancho Santana concierge was also extremely friendly and welcoming. 13/10 recommend booking here if you are looking for a relaxing, tranquil getaway with all the comfort and amenities! Would love to stay again!!!!!

Stop wondering, and BOOK IT! My husband and I just spent the most wonderfully relaxing 8 days here. The view, the isolation (yet 5 minute drive from everything we needed), the pool, waking up to monkeys chatting in the trees...we cannot wait to go back! It was the PERFECT spot for us! Brendan is so lovely to deal with and was super flexible and accommodating as the winter weather really put a dent in our original plans getting out of town. It was a treat to be on the edge of Rancho Santana and be able to use their amenities for the week. We hiked every beach, between beaches, through the jungle - it was marvelous! Jealous of whoever gets it next! :) Enjoy!!

Brendan’s home is stunning. Don’t hesitate to book it, the added benefit of having access (for an extra fee of about $15/ea/ per day I think) to the rest of Rancho santana resort is amazing. Beautiful pool. Love the layout. Great house keeper who did laundry for us. The only thing we weren’t thrilled with is there was only one propane tank with fuel and we had to unhook it and transfer it back and forth between the stove and the BBQ so it was a bit of a pain. Would’ve been nice if both propane tanks had just been full for guests to use the BBQ and stove without that added hassle but we survived obviously totally fine. Thank you for the stay we hope to come back!!

I stayed with 2 friends and we immediately fell in love with Brandon’s home. The indoor/outdoor vibe was so relaxing, rooms were comfortable and kitchen had what we needed for a few meals at home. Being able to access the Rancho Santana amenities while having our private and tranquil escape was truly the best of both worlds. I would suggest renting a car to make property access and getting to town possible on your own schedule! Can’t wait for my next visit to Popoyo and Rancho Santana!

Brendan has recently updated the property and they did an amazing job. Beds and linens are top notch and bathrooms/shower are very well done. You feel right at home when you’re here. The sunsets from the pool deck and infinity pool are spectacular. We didn’t want to leave. Would recommend this property to couples who enjoy a private, secluded, peaceful home with views of ocean, beach and beautiful sunsets.
