Neal really is as good of a host as I have ever had with AirBNB. His place is amazing, private and beautiful, staring straight out at the Hol Chan reserve. We saw barracuda and eagle rays while kayaking off the private dock, swam in the pool every day with the kids, and relaxed peacefully at night in the air conditioned house. The kitchen allowed us to cook meals for the family and there is no better feeling then walking out the backdoor of your place straight onto a boat for a snorkeling trip. Highly recommend, and even though Neal was on a trip of his own he helped my family and I with tips and requests that made our vacation incredibly special.

To say the place lived up to its standards would be an understatement. It was amazingly clean, comfortable and well stocked with things tourists might not think to bring. The beds were so comfortable and the ac made for a great night’s sleep. Communication was quickly addressed for any needs we needed. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at Island House! Neal and Charmaine were exceptional hosts—so accommodating, responsive, and always available whenever we had a question or needed assistance. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and stress-free. The home was exactly as described, clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We truly appreciated their hospitality and attention to detail. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Island House to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation rental!

We had a wonderful stay on San Pedro! We loved having the dock right there as well as being away from the huddle and bustle of town. The house was so well equipped for cooking at home and the beds were very comfortable. We went snorkeling off the dock a few times and also were easily picked up for excursions by boat. Neal was so easy to communicate with both before and during our stay. Highly recommend!

Neal and Charmaine are the best Airbnb hosts ever! We’ve stayed in many Airbnbs, both in the USA and abroad, and this was far and away the best experience! They were kind and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Neal was so helpful and all of his recommendations were great! He always responded to messages quickly. The house is beautiful and super clean and organized. They provided everything needed for the perfect vacation. The yard, pool, and dock were absolutely perfect in every way. The views were wonderful in every room! We loved the location because it was so quiet and peaceful yet close to many restaurants and shops. My kids said that this house was a 10 out of 10 stars and they loved staying here. If you are trying to decide on where to stay in San Pedro you can stop looking now- this house is amazing and Neal takes “super host” to a different level. Our whole family can’t wait to return!

We are a party of four from the PNW, USA. This was a first trip to Belize for three of us so Neal was our essential resource. He is friendly and super responsive! The home was very clean, roomy, nicely decorated and comfortable. A home away from home! It met all our needs throughout our week long stay. As expected the weather was tropical...hot/humid/windy so the AC throughout and the pool were very appreciated! Neal took us out in their boat one day for a fun explore! What a beautiful Caye! 🐟 ♡We loved the three Sea Haven puppy girls: Valerie, Bonita and Molly! 🐶 ♡We liked being out of the bustle of town. ♡Found it refreshing to be on casual "island time"! ♡It was fun to toodle around in golf carts! Even if bumpy & dusty at times! ♡The locals are friendly & helpful! ♡The food is great! ♡The ocean was 90° and had stunning shades of aqua blue! ❤️ Thank you Neal & Charmaine for sharing your beautiful home! It was a fun & memorable trip!

Neal and Charmaine were incredible hosts—warm, welcoming, and always eager to help with recommendations and questions about Belize. Our group of four adults felt right at home. The property is immaculate and the house is beautiful, with everything we could possibly need and more. Its peaceful, more remote location made for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle and noise of the city. We enjoyed breakfast at Charmaine’s one morning—delicious food and cookies—and she even provided fresh bread that made amazing sandwiches. Neal’s offer to take us by boat to Secret Beach was a truly special experience. We also loved spending time with their sweet dogs. This stay, along with an unforgettable snorkeling trip with Kenton, made our visit exceptional. Highly recommend, you will be treated with class genuine kindness. Terrific place! The photos and description on Airbnb were spot on and the place was spotless. Neal and Charmaine were super helpful. We arrived a little early and they busted their tails getting the place ready for us to check in. Neal always responded to questions within minutes...we wanted for nothing. The ice cream was delicious Charmaine! Thank you!

We - a family of 4 with 2 kids age 11/15 - stayed for 13 nights and enjoyed every second. Neal and Charmaine made us feel home right from the beginning (and even before we started our trip by shopping and equipping the fridge). The house is at a great, quiet location and was in super condition, as described and shown on the pictures! Neal and Charmaine were awesome hosts, took us on some boat rides to hidden beaches, gave all kind of recommendations and made our stay special! Thx so much again! PS: we highly recommend a Brunch on a lazy Sunday morning at Charmaine’s bakery!!!

All the reviews are absolutely accurate! Neal and Charmaine were wonderful hosts, welcoming us into their beautiful home and always ready with thoughtful recommendations. They were especially kind and engaging with my girls, answering all their questions and even letting them help out on the boat. The dogs on the property were a huge hit—definitely a highlight of the trip! We also truly enjoyed Charmaine’s cooking, whether it was breakfast delivered to the house or the delicious spread at the bakery. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or more gracious hosts, and we would love to return again in the future.

Slice of paradise! My family agrees this was one of our best vacations ever, Neal & Charmaine’s hospitality played a huge part in making our trip fantastic. They have created a lovely space where you instantly feel at home & the beds are so comfortable. The view from the dock palapa was spectacular & we loved that we could paddle board & kayak right off the dock. We highly recommend having Charmaine make breakfast for you! It was so delicious & truly felt luxurious to eat in our pjs each morning. You should absolutely go into town to eat at her cafe too, we had the BEST chocolate cake! Neal is very friendly & had great recommendations for restaurants & snorkeling tours. Neal also took us out on his boat to show us some of his favorite spots. We truly felt spoiled.

We can’t say enough about how amazing our holiday was as a result of staying here! The house and property are incredible! The cleanest place we have ever rented! It has every amenity you could ask for, inside and out. We loved the pool, relaxing under the palapa and fishing off the dock. It was a huge bonus that the sargassum isn’t as bad at all as in town and we were able to see all sorts of ocean life right off the dock! Neal and Charmaine couldn’t have been better hosts! They absolutely made our trip magical from taking us on adventures on the boat, having groceries there for us when we arrived, bringing home orders from the cafe, arranging our taxi, cutting down coconuts for our daughter upon request, etc etc! Charmaine’s Cafe had the most delicious food we tried on the trip, hands down!! Their dogs are the sweetest dogs ever, and definitely the highlight for our daughter haha! We cannot thank you both enough for everything you did for us, and for how sweet you were to our daught

Back from an amazing week at Sea Haven Guest House with a family of 5 (3 teenage kids). Neil and Charmaine were amazing hosts and gave us great recommendations throughout the week. Their home is beautiful and we enjoyed boat trips directly from their pier to secluded beaches, a crystal clear sand bar, and secret beach. We filled the days with reef snorkeling, fishing, and golf cart rides. The Airbnb is 5 miles south of the airport which made it a little more off the beaten path via golf cart, but the home and surroundings were perfect and we enjoyed the open air rides and beach restaurants along the way. Would recommend to anyone who wants to experience Ambergris Caye outside of the big resorts. We will be back!

Staying at Neal’s felt like staying at home . The house was spotless and everything u would need is in that house. The pool was perfect temperature to cool you off on a hot day and also very clean. Both Neal and Charmaine were very accommodating, giving us suggestions on golf cart companies, restaurants, etc. we visited Charmaine’s restaurant for the all u ca eat buffet on Sunday and it was fantastic. Neal also did grocery shopping for us so we had food and drinks at the house before arrival. He also brought us dinner for when we arrived. We had stayed in a lot of airbnbs and this has got to be our favorite ! We will definitely return !
