Had everything we needed for our quick stay, complimentary breakfast was made fresh and distance to the downtown is easy to navigate. Would recommend.

Close to lots of restaurants and safe. Loved our stay but would have loved for the host to be more responsive. We missed out in breakfast on one of the days because she didn’t respond until hours later and we were also told a hair dryer would be provided but there wasn’t one in the airbnb. I would recommend this listing but with the advice to message host well in advance with anything you need since she does take a long time to respond. We tried both whats app and through airbnb app but it would still take many hours to respond. There is a small reception desk on site but they are not there all the time so I would not depend on that either. Room itself was very comfortable and clean. Area is very walkable and close to everything.

So beautiful and a quick walk away from the beach! It’s also removed enough from the fun/chaos of downtown Tamarindo so it’s a peaceful stay!

I loved it; the photos don't do the place justice—it looks like something out of Pinterest. Breakfast was delicious. The car is parked outside, but apparently that's normal in the area.

Were received in a very friendly manner. What an amazing property; we were absolutely delighted! The rooms were also spacious and nicely furnished. We felt very comfortable. Short distances to the beach and the city. A great breakfast was also served. Highly recommend.

Can’t recommend this listing enough! 5 stars across the board. The space is beautiful and on a gorgeous property. Has a pool and delicious breakfast is provided daily. The room was spotless and comes with great local recommendations. You’re an easy 10 minute stroll to the beach and the heart of Tamarindo. The property is gated and has an onsite security guard who made check-in super easy. I would 100% stay here again on a return trip!

Casa Leona itself is beautiful and very well taken care of. The staff on-site is very kind and helpful. The room was thoughtfully stocked with things you may need. We ran into issues with water accessibility and temperature of the water. The hosts response time was a little lengthy even during business hours, but she was helpful when we were able to reach her.

We loved our stay at Casa Leona — we were there for 4 days. First of all, the property is gorgeous — beautiful trees and flowers, comfy and clean outdoor furniture, perfect for lounging. The room is clean and spacious and exactly as pictured. We loved having the second floor patio to sit on and bird watch in the morning. The staff on the property, are incredibly kind. A huge incentive is the delicious breakfast included with your stay. It was a perfect way to start the day. Danielle was incredibly helpful with coordinating transportation to Liberia airport as well as a day trip to Bijagua rainforest and a coffee and cacao tour. Only caveat: town is a 10 min walk down a road/hill that is sandy and rocky. Glad we brought flashlights for night. Very safe and walkable, just be aware of it bc of your shoes. Highly recommend booking Casa Leona! Thank you for making our stay in Tamarindo so comfortable.

Can’t say enough great things about Casa Leona. We were met at the Airbnb for check-in assistant. Location is perfect for walking into town. Extremely clean Airbnb. We stayed later than check out and they held our bags and gave us a place to shower before we left. Can’t say enough great things!

We stayed a week at Casa Leona and it was wonderful. The room was cute and plenty big enough for what we needed. It was super clean and looks just like the photos, if not better. The property was beautiful, filled with lush tress and landscaping. The pools were nice and perfect for cooling off in. Our favorite part was the breakfast, it was delicious and there were plenty of options. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect as well, short walk to just about anywhere but far enough from the center of town making it feel a bit more secluded. Overall the place was wonderful and we’d definitely recommend it! Thank you to our host and the staff.
