6BR Villa in Boquete

Jeffrey

Excellent, 2 weeks ago

We had a great stay. Close to Boquete and countless nature trails and landmarks. The staff helped us light the fire pit and bbq. We took the farm tour and horseback ride through the farm. It was also easy for an older member of our group with limited mobility to enjoy the house and property.

We stayed at this historic coffee estate house in Boquete for a family reunion over Christmas, and it was a memorable experience. The house, which used to belong to a coffee plantation owner, is spacious and charming, with plenty of room for our group of eight to gather and relax. The location is unique—it’s part of a working coffee beneficio. While this adds character, it’s important to note that the coffee roasting starts early in the morning (around 6-7 am), so you’ll hear some noise, and combined with the abundant natural light, you might find yourself waking up earlier than expected. While the house is beautiful, we did experience recurring issues with water, gas, and internet during our stay. Thankfully, the staff on-site were very helpful and quick to assist whenever problems arose. The property feels safe, and the layout made it great for a family gathering. However, if you’re looking for complete quiet or uninterrupted amenities, you may want to consider this aspect.

Rodrigo's beautiful coffee estate was better in person than the pictures shown. It was very spacious, classic but modern at the same time. The beds were comfortable (medium firm), beddings were soft cotton, and the pillows were fluffy. The kitchen was well equipped with many up-to-date appliances such as blender, microwave, oven toaster, and coffee maker. Living room has comfy sofas with lots of board games and a tv. Most of the furniture were new compared to other mountain homes I've been to. We were provided with shampoo, soap and clean cotton towels in every bathroom. We didn't have a chance to use the outdoor fireplace as it rained most of our stay, but it looked so picturesque. As for the host, I have nothing but praises for Rodrigo because he was very helpful even before we got there. We asked if there were inflatable beds, and he provided us with many. Overall, I would recommend any big crowd to stay here.
