We visited Nosara for the whole month of May. This was our first visit here so we didn't know what to expect, although our son who lives nearby recommended the Playa Guiones section. Based on his recommendation of area along with the description, photos, and value of the house we chose Villa Lola, and we're super happy we did! Villa Lola is such a lovely 3 bedroom house! Modern yet regional with beautiful grounds, a wonderful outdoor patio/dining area, a great pool (which our grandkids loved!), clean, all of the amenities one would need for a long stay, and very walkable to the many restaurants, shops, organic food markets, Tuesday farmers market, and of course the beach! Every day here was filled with exploration, surfing, enjoying the great food nearby, and cooling off at the end of each day next to the pool with a drink in our hand! The house itself was immaculate with very comfortable beds, large kitchen, and laundry room! We are already looking forward to our next stay here!

We had a great stay at the house, the property is about a 5 minute walk from the beach. It is right by the trail that leads to the S part of town as well for easy access to Organico. When booking I did not realize that the main part of the house has no AC and is open (with screens) to the outside air. It was actually really nice once acclimated, you can hear the birds and animals from the living room! Road noise can be heard, but has little to do with the location of the property, quads and Motos are just loud. That being said it did not impact sleep or the quality of the stay, and having stayed at many other places in Guiones, I think it is what it is. We felt right at home when we arrived and had help unloading luggage from the night watchman. When the pool needed a clean before it's scheduled maintenance they had someone over within an hour, super responsive and made us feel looked after.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Lola 2 - - the property feels quiet and peaceful and tucked away even though you are in the center of Guiones and walkable to everything. The host team were so kind and let us check in early based on our travel timing. There were guests in the other two casas on the property but it still felt quiet and private, the lush grounds adding to the privacy. We had some questions throughout our stay about the house and the host team were super prompt and friendly with their responses. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely stay again!

Outstanding villa, in a perfect location. Super-responsive hosts, who helped with any number of extras. Other than some pesky ants, it is the perfect accomodations in a very special town.

Casa Lola was superb. We visited Nosara last year, but stayed further out of town in a more isolated area. This stay was both right in town and walkable to everything, and it is also still peaceful and private. Though tucked next to a restaurant, we weren't bothered by any noise, as it wasn't open late. The town overall quiets down at night. There is a shared pool, but the design is done in a way that the area is still private and easy to share. For a large group, getting both of the houses would be well worth it. All three bedrooms had ample space and all the things we needed for a comfortable stay. The living room and kitchen are well done. Our family would highly recommend staying here.

My family loved our stay at Villa Lola. We walked everywhere we needed to - restaurants, grocery, cafes, beach, etc. The pool was incredible on hot days and great for our daughter who’s learning to swim. I’m the backyard we had lizard friends and occasionally saw monkeys and anteaters. We didn’t realize from the pictures that there are huge plants and an open air space near the living room. When it rains it waters the plants and feels magical. The bathrooms and kitchen were great as well. David and his team were a great help and welcomed us.

Federico’s place was perfect for our girls birthday trip celebration. The common spaces were comfortable and spacious. The individual bedrooms were also comfortable and accommodating. Beautiful pool and grounds as well. We enjoyed great restaurants, yoga classes and surf lessons all walking distance from the house. Overall I would highly recommend!

The house is just as shown in the photos. Very nice, well-equipped and in a very convenient location near the beach and in a very nice area We loved Nossara and we were fascinated by Playa Guiones!! Ideal for learning to surf and enjoying with family I highly recommend everything!

Place is sick. Nicer than we even expected!

David and Federico quickly responded to any question that I had before we arrived to Villa Lola. We rented both house, since we have 12 of us going. The houses were amazing. They were well stocked and if we had any issues, David responded right away. They had regular maintenance, house cleaner, gardener, and pool service throughout the week. So, it was very clean and taken care of.

Our stay at Villa Lola was amazing. We had 3 families stay there and we all felt so comfortable and relaxed. They made everything so easy for us. You can walk everywhere from there and if you can’t, David will help with any transportation, and/or activity you would like to do.

We rented Villa 1 & 2 together for 4 families and loved our stay!
