Our family of 5 had plenty of space to hang out , cook , play in the pool and enjoy the surrounding nature. The location was private and off the beaten path. It allowed us to explore different beaches and the town of Tamarindo. The host was so helpful with any and all questions. The beds in all the rooms were comfortable. The separation of the bedrooms and bathrooms allowed everyone to have their privacy. The home was exactly as described. You will need a car at this location.

We loved our 11 day stay in Casa Almendra! We had lots of excursions and long days during our trip. Every night coming back to this house was a treat. Two pools to relax in, a family of green parakeets hanging out nearby, and four iguanas basking in the sun. This house had everything we could’ve asked for! Check-in was easy, host responded quickly, property was beautiful and is private! My #1 concern before arriving was mosquitos. Although I was bit on excursions in the jungle, I saw exactly 0 mosquitos at the house during our stay! Don’t fear the outdoor living area, it’s incredible and you won’t get bit! Having both the flat-top and a grill made our meals easy, especially for a larger group. All appliances worked exactly as stated. This is my third time in Costa Rica and I’d be excited to spend my fourth visit at Casa Almendra for a second time! Pura vida

Claire was very helpful and responsive during our stay and available when we needed. The house was better than expected and Claire provided a few extra things we may need to make our stay easier. She also provided beach, restaurant, and excursion recommendations. Would definitely come back and stay here.

We had a fabulous time!! The setting was peaceful and the landscaping was beautiful! We loved the outdoor living space! The pool was awesome!! We saw iguanas daily and heard the howler monkeys in the morning and evening. A true Costa Rica experience!!

We stayed here for two weeks, and it was an absolute oasis! The property is beautifully maintained, with lush, well planned grounds that made it feel like a private paradise. The location was good-just 10 minute drive to Tamarindo, peaceful and relaxing. A rental car is definitely recommended. Our host was incredible-so responsive, helpful, and kind. From assisting us with a car rental and restaurant recommendations to helping us find a repair shop for a flat tire, she went above and beyond. Even when a few small repairs were needed in the renal, the host handled everything seamlessly, ensuring minimal disruption. We also booked in-villa massages, which were amazing-highly recommend! Overall, we had an incredible stay and would absolutely recommend this AirBnB.

We absolutely loved this place - it was magical. Very lush, comfortable and we particularly liked the privacy of our own rooms and bathrooms but with the shared space. The hosts were super helpful and responsive. The outdoor area is very spacious and comfortable.

The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. About 15 minutes to Tamarindo and 20-30 minutes to the beaches. The guests are super attentive and friendly. Nos leaving happy with such good service. Recommended :)

Amazing property. Looks even better than the pictures. A little far from the beach, around 5 miles away, but the property was so beautiful, private and peaceful we didn't mind the distance from the beach! We travel to Costa Rica every year and this is hands down the best property we have rented and will definitely be renting again! Be careful with the gps location on the site, please have the host drop a pin to the property.
