We loved staying at Tim’s place! Had all we needed for a family of 3. Our daughter spent nearly the entire time in the pool. House was spotless and a short drive, or longer walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Tim's place in Samara! The house had everything we needed , it was comfortable, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home. What really made this stay special was the people. Tim was incredibly easy to communicate with and always helpful throughout our trip. Melissa was absolutely fantastic, friendly, warm, and full of great recommendations for local activities. She even went above and beyond when our little one got sick during our vacation, helping us find a doctor quickly. That kind of care and attentiveness is rare and made all the difference. Samara is beautiful, and this place made it even better. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Tim's lovely home. The space was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, making it easy to relax and settle in right away. The location was ideal—a very short distance to Sámara and several beautiful beaches, making it easy to explore the area. Tim's recommendations for local restaurants and activities were incredibly helpful and really enhanced our trip. We especially loved the outdoor space, which was perfect for relaxing by the pool. Overall, a fantastic stay!

This property is beautiful! Our family felt right at home and used the provided bikes to get around Sámara for the week. The home feels warm and lived in, with all necessary amenities provided. The property manager is super responsive and provided tons of local recommendations. We would highly recommend this property for a relaxed beach vacation pura vida style!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The location is fantastic – we rode bikes downtown into the beach. It was so nice to cool off in the pool, so that was essential for us. Very comfortable home. I think it could benefit from a good decluttering/deep cleaning but all in all a wonderful place to stay in Sámara Beach.

We have been lucky enough to stay at this oasis a couple of times. It truly feels like a home away from home, because it's super inviting and cozy while having everything we need. One of our favorite aspects of the house is the privacy...we pull our car in the driveway and close gate behind us, and have complete privacy/security for kids to run around and us to swim and be together. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is big a spacious to cook in, and the pool is the perfect for us to have many dips a day to cool off between activities. The owner and house manager are super communicative and friendly, and were very helpful when I messed up our booking dates. We are thankful to have found this place and plan to return!

We had great time at Tim’s place. Melissa, the property manager, was very kind and clear with messaging and giving helpful information. Location was great for our family of 4 with 5yo and 3yo. It was 5min driving distance from the center and Sámara Beach. The pool was small but perfect for our kids to start and end the day, and for us to do a quick dip after the beach to “cool” off. Yoga/meditation platform was not usable but the outdoor dining table was a great spot to enjoy breakfast. It was also great to be able to do laundry at our own pace. We would recommend this place and would definitely return.

Melissa Jimenez, the property manager was great. Very helpful in all our concerns. Tim's house is truly a dream and perfect for cooking for yourself. We had a very nice stay. I would recommend this house at any time. It is large spacious and very clean. Thank you so much for letting us spend our last days in Costa Rica here.

My husband and I rented Casa de los Sueños for two weeks this year and we can’t say enough wonderful things about our time there. It’s a great house! Tim is very kind and sent ahead a lot of information about the house and the area. We were met by his property manager Melissa upon arrival and she is so kind and sweet! The house has everything you need and the pool is the best for cooling off and just general enjoyment. We used the outside dining area for dinners all the time and the table is quite an attraction and work of art. The bikes at the house were key for us- we road them everywhere. They makes it easy to get to town/beach/etc. The house is a bit out of town and while walking there is definitely doable it takes a bit so you would want to plan or use the bikes (or rent a golf cart or something). Soda Samarena is just across the street and has delicious food and the sunsets at Buena Vista are spectacular. I would highly recommend this house and hope to stay next year!

We had a great time with our four kids - Tim's place was laid out perfectly for all of us. The air conditioning and the pool kept us cool in the Samara heat. Close to town, best to have a car. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Meli and Tim were great communicators and hosts. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at beautiful Casa de los Suenos! The home is stunning and the pool was perfect for the kids. We really loved the backyard hangout area. It was nice being away from the main streets of Samara, but close enough to everything. We rented a car which was convenient. You would probably want to have at least some sort of vehicle, like an ATV or golf cart when there. I appreciated Tim's informative emails and Melissa was a wonderful host with great recommendations. We ate at her restaurant the last night there and it was amazing. I recommend the seafood paella! If we ever come back to Samara, we would definitely want to stay here again.

I spent a month at Tim's place. Very private, clean, comfortable and a beautiful setting. The howler monkeys were close by and fun to watch. I rented a golf cart for the month. Definitely, the way to get to town and the beaches. The "ticos" are so very friendly and helpful. Samara is an amazing town and Tim's place made for a fantastic time in CR.

Place was very clean, comfortable and as advertised. We had a great time and stayed for over a month. Tim was super responsive and helpful and on top of that, his property manager Meli was excellent! Worked very hard to make our stay perfect. The pool, the backyard etc were beautiful and relaxing.
