I ABSOLUTELY LOVED CASA AQUA VIDA. I AM FROM ALBERTA, CANADA AND I MET A WONDERFUL FAMILY FROM COSTA RICA SHORTLY AFTER I MOVED HERE IN JANUARY OF 2025. THE KITCHEN AND BBQ AREAS WERE PERFECT FOR FAMILIES WHO LOVE TO COOK. WE HAD 2 BABIES WITH US - A 6 MONTH OLD AND A 14 MONTH OLD. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN WATCHING THEM AND THEIR FATHER'S PLAYING WITH THEM IN THE MASSIVE GRASS AREA. THE VIEW OF THE VOLCANO WAS RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES, THE BEDROOMS SUITED OUR FAMILIES PERFECTLY. ANY QUESTIONS I HAD, WERE ANSWERED PROMPTLY BY BERNAL. FOR MYSELF - A WIDOWED GRANDMOTHER FROM ALBERTA CANADA, ALL I CAN SAY IS - THE SURROUNDINGS WERE STUNNING, EXTREMELY PRIVATE AND EVER SO PEACEFUL. WE ALL RETURNED HOME REFRESHED AND RESTED. I CHOSE TO MOVE TO COSTA RICA SOLELY BECAUSE OF THE CLIMATE AND PURE MOIST AIR AND NO SNOW!!! ALSO THE PEOPLE!!! THIS TRIP WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND WE WILL RETURN AGAIN SOME DAY. Better than expected I loved the pool!! Every need was there

Spectacular setting. Outdoor space amazing. Monkeys and sloth on the property. Great location close to town. No AC in main living space, but bedrooms had AC. Fourth bedroom was detached which was not great for family living. Overall would highly recommend.

The most beautiful Airbnb we’ve stayed in. The place was clean, quiet and peaceful but also really close to restaurants and other activities. The perfect location with the most amazing views.

We absolutely loved this location and are so glad we found it. We enjoyed the spring and all the wildlife , my kids are already asking to come back.We can”t wait to return to this beautiful house and property.

Wow! This place was amazing for two families with kids. We had beautiful views of the volcano and enjoyed the pool. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely stunning location. The view doesn't disappoint. The pool is so lovely, but isn't viewable from the house (for parents). The bedrooms are absolutely beautiful, with one detached from the main house. The main part of the house doesn't have AC, but the bedrooms do so you can choose your desired temp at night. I would love to return to this house with my family.

What an exceptional home! As beautiful as they are, the photos do not do the property justice. The home is beautifully designed and has amazing views outside. The pool is massive and more breathtaking than the listing photos suggest. The grounds of the home are impeccably kept. And there’s wildlife everywhere. Bernal was a gracious host and Marta was incredibly sweet - she unexpectedly cleaned the home mid trip. Very convenient location but secluded and peaceful.

There are not enough words to describe the beauty of this property. We stayed 4 nights and had a wonderful time. Bernal and the property management team responded promptly to our inquiries and proved to be helpful with recommendations. We lost hot water one day, but it did not affect our stay because our planned activities kept us out of the house. It occurred on a Sunday when it was difficult to get a plumber. To our pleasant surprise, the storm that evening caused a power outage, and when the power came back on, it reset the hot water control, so the issue resolved itself:-). It is important to point out to future guests that the fourth bedroom with a full bath is separate from the main house. It is technically under the same roof but there is outdoor space in between. I cannot recommend this property enough. It was a wonderful introduction to Costa Rica.

Definitely the place to stay in La Fortuna. Convenient to everything yet just far away enough to not realize you’re so close. We enjoyed the perfect view of Arenal, played soccer on the lawn at the base of the volcano, heard the sounds of the wildlife, swam in the lagoon … everything was so perfect. The home has everything you could need in the kitchen and beyond. The beds are quite comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious. The garden is beyond amazing. We’ve been quite fortunate to stay in some pretty luxurious places over the years and while this place isn’t as shiny and new as some places may be, it is definitely amazing all the same. The comfort, grounds, views and amenities make it an easy 10/10… no contest. So grateful for our memorable stay. Would recommend again and again.

This place was heaven on earth! The pictures do not do it justice. We saw tons of birds, monkeys, and even a couple of sloths!! The natural spring was gorgeous and so refreshing! I promise you won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here!

Casa Agua Vida was one of the most incredible properties we have ever stayed in. Nestled on a private rainforest estate in La Fortuna, it feels like having a five-star resort entirely to yourself, yet it is only minutes from town, restaurants, and local attractions. The property is meticulously maintained, and a beautiful live river spring runs through the back, creating a peaceful setting unlike anything we have experienced before. The wildlife was amazing. We saw monkeys, sloths, tropical birds, and countless other species right from the property. Sitting outside and watching the rainforest canopy come alive each day was a highlight of our trip. What makes this place truly special is how unique it is. The combination of luxury, privacy, nature, and convenience is exceptional. If you are looking for an authentic Costa Rica experience without sacrificing comfort, Casa Agua Vida is hard to beat. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

Definitely the highlight of the whole trip. This place was magnificent. If you can swing the cost you won't find a more beautiful place in Costa Rica. Loved every second of our stay here
