We had an absolutely incredible stay. The home is beautifully designed, peaceful, and feels like a private luxury retreat. Every detail is thoughtfully done, creating a perfect balance of comfort and style. Larry and Reina are exceptional hosts, warm, responsive, and genuinely caring. They made sure everything was seamless from the moment we arrived. A special highlight was chef Eli, she was truly amazing. Super professional, incredibly talented, and the food she prepared was outstanding. She elevated the entire experience to another level. The location is ideal and offers complete privacy. It’s the kind of place you don’t want to leave. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a high-end, unforgettable stay. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Home! Over all experience was 10/10 ! If you want a perfect get away with friends and family casa la Reina is the place for you ! The view was breathtaking! The monkeys were the best part of the stay!!! I felt at peace and at home ! I was very sad to go! I definitely will be back !

The photos don’t do this place justice. Beautiful views , peaceful and serene. The housekeeping and cooking services put this place above all others. Not having to worry about cooking, shopping or cleaning made this such a relaxing vacation.

Our stay at Casa La Reina was exceptional! The responsive concierge team arranged everything from surfing lessons to stocking groceries, and even provided cold medicine for our daughter. The cooking and housekeeping services surpassed expectations, and staff checked in regularly without being intrusive. The property features stunning views, a beautiful pool, and a safe location just 10 minutes from Tamarindo - perfect for exploring while maintaining privacy. Pro Tip: When using the house provisioning service, set a budget. Our 3-night stay provisions cost $500 USD with leftovers. Be mindful of high-cost items. Stay of a lifetime for our family milestone event. Lovely home in a peaceful environment. Exquisite dining. Exemplary service. The home was impeccably beautiful and felt like the lap of luxury. We miss it already! It is such a beautiful property. Picture perfect. It’s fun, relaxing, and unique. We loved every inch of it from the hummingbirds in the back to the monkeys in the front. It was great for bird watching. We traveled with our 3 children and they had a blast. Xiomara was special! My kids ate everything she prepared which is saying a lot. She was attentive and had wonderful. Melissa was very easy to reach and she went above and beyond for us, even returning left behind items since we were near by at a new location. It was truly hard to say goodbye. You will not regret staying here.

Wow! I don't even know how to begin. Everything about our stay was perfect. Melissa was the ultimate host....I asked her so many questions and she was nothing but kind and patient. Xiomara took care of the cooking and cleaning, she felt like family by the end of the week. I only wish my spanish were better so I could tell her that! And Luis was always kind and attentive while taking care of the outside. The location, ambiance....all of it! Don't hesitate on this place!

My family had a wonderful time at Casa la Reina. It was so peaceful to watch the butterflies and birds while relaxing in the pool or doing Pilates on the deck. The cook and housekeeping was a nice treat for the end of our trip to Costa Rica. We Zip-lined and did an ATV tour at the Black Stallion Ranch just down the street. Melissa the property manager was very helpful and friendly. We saw monkeys in the trees outside the morning before we left which was the highlight. Highly recommended this property!

Beautiful home outside of Tamarindo. Very private, modern, and clean, it looks just like the pictures. The house is about 15 min outside Tamarindo. This is a bit more remote and there is nothing in walking distance if that is what you are looking for. But for our family the privacy was just what we wanted. Grocery about 5 min away, but you don't really need it. The staff can get you anything you need with enough notice. Melissa the manager was super welcoming and offered lots of help for local activities. Xiomara cooked amazing meals for us and kept the place spotless. We would usually go out on a day excursion or tour and come home to a clean house and wonderful meal. She really made the trip special. Would definitely stay there again.

Overall, this was a great house. Communication with the host and house managers prior to arrival was great. The house is very nice and as described. It's in a peaceful setting about 15 minutes from town. Lots of nature (howler monkeys, birds, iguanas, frogs, etc.). The house manager arranged excursions for us (whitewater rafting, zip-line, and surfing). Having breakfast every morning was great. We did experience some miscommunication on meals early on and there were a few minor maintenance issues, but those did not affect our stay (I am not sure the host was even aware but a house manager was informed). If you take advantage of the meal service and/or the concierge service to book excursions, I would confirm everything with the host upon arrival. Overall, great stay and I would stay again!

We really enjoyed our 6 day stay at Casa La Reina! The hosts were extremely friendly and easy to communicate with throughout the booking process and our entire stay. They helped us arrange an excursion, groceries, and meals for the week. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hosts who helped show us the property and all the features. At this time we also paid for all of our groceries for the week, which were stocked in the fridge/pantry. They even had welcome snacks and drinks prepared for us when we arrived! The house is about 15 minutes from downtown Tamarindo on a gravel road. The road is fairly easy to navigate, the last part being a steep hill up to the house. We had a small SUV (Rav4) and had no issues traversing the roads. The house felt very secluded, safe and private. The house was also very well kept and had an amazing view from the deck/pool area! We had a total of 4 people (2 couples) and felt we had plenty of space and privacy while here. We would highly recommend!
