Beautiful place and beautiful beach. We thought I’d be closer to the beach, but after a short walk you’ll get there. The place has all amenities for a nice and comfortable stay. Definitely recommended.

First of all, thanks to Matt, a really helpful and great host. Always and every question answered. An extra bonus was the comparatively cheap car he got me for a month. Now to the house. For the price (1 month booking about 50% discount) I can hardly imagine anything better. It's this kind of place and house that you tell all your friends how great it is. We totally enjoyed being here. There was always someone there, it was cleaned once a week, the pool and terrace were cleaned almost daily, I am thrilled. I don't think there are many places in the world that are so affordable and have so much pure nature to offer. Every morning, exotic animals ate breakfast with us. We had a great time at Villa Lorito!! Some drawbacks included: The kitchen had some functionality issues, but we were still able to cook without much trouble. I’m confident this is something that can be quickly addressed. Additionally, while parking was available, it was not directly at the property but within walking distance. Though manageable, it felt a bit far, especially when carrying luggage or groceries. Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and we appreciated the villa's charm and amenities.

Words just don't do this location justice - what an absolute INCREDIBLE experience. Matt's home 1000% exceeded expectations, and everyone working there (including the concierge, Jonathan) were nothing but helpful and extremely kind. The home had ample space, was very clean, and was a great place to relax, recharge and watch the wildlife. Access to the beach and restaurant was very easy, and prices were VERY reasonable (if not inexpensive). The resort is so magical, and we loved getting to meet the locals, their dedication to preserving wildlife and be immersed in their culture. We visited Playa Gigante quite a bit (beach/small town within walking distance) to eat, surf, and rent motos. HIGHLY recommend William at Monkey House! Matt was available at any time, and he was helpful with anything asked! The views/photos are hands-down 100x better in-person, so if you love the photos shown on Airbnb, you are going to be mesmerized when you arrive! We will absolutely be back! Thank you!

Great treehouse in the jungle with fantastic private beach and restaurant. Plunge pool and outside area are private and very relaxing.

This is one of those places that you want to rave about but also keep to yourself. It was exceptional. Matt was so responsive and friendly and the check in process was a breeze. The pictures don’t do this place justice (and the pictures are great). Sounds of the ocean at night and monkeys in the morning. The beach is heavenly, the restaurant was great, and the staff was friendly. I can’t say enough good things. We can’t wait to go back.

Villa Lorito was the perfect place for our anniversary getaway. It was beautiful, comfortable, and private, and I highly recommend it! Matt and Jonathan were amazing hosts, and communication was excellent. They provided plenty of instructions, a great manual with local recommendations, and continuously checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The stairs down to and back up from the beach are a workout, but once you get to the private oasis every step is worth it. The beach is gorgeous, with plenty of room to catch some sun or find some shade, swim, and snorkel. The beach bar was great, with ice-cold drinks and many tasty food options. The wifi was perfect for streaming workout classes on the villa deck. The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed to cook daily. The main bedroom was comfortable and had plenty of room for all of our things. We loved hearing the waves from the casita! We are already planning our return to Villa Lorito!

Accommodation with high quality and good service, all the necessary equipment to make your stay pleasant, and with communication and kindness instantly, it felt like home. Congratulations 100/100

Nice villa or cabin, it feels a quiet, the cabin has what one needs to have some good days with the family, we were able to take our Miller(Beagle). We had a great time, we would go again, thank you Jonathan for being on the lookout for everything and above all for answering every message, see you next time

What an incredible hidden gem tucked into the top of the jungle with a private beach just steps away! We got the best of both worlds staying here: jungle life AND a beautiful beach. We felt a little like the Swiss Family Robinson at this treetop treasure: falling asleep to the sound of the wind playing through the canopy and waking up to bountiful wildlife: birds, monkeys, and more. The private beach (with an excellent bar and restaurant and pristine water) is just steps below; don't miss the baby turtle releases at sunset. In fact, don't miss sunset! We took regular morning walks through the jungle (10 minutes) to El Gigante beach, too, which offers even more incredible beach views. Matt made everything easy and was an incredible resource and guide to the area. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be back!

Wow! Not sure how to capture how amazing this AirBnB is. Clearly this place had extensive and recent renovations, wonderful location close to the beach, but up in the jungle with monkeys and birds and shade. Huge decks and a relaxing dipping pool. I could honestly live there forever. Matt’s instructions are detailed and thoughtful, as is the management of the property. Beautiful plants surround this amazing property. Not ideal for young families with lots of strollers and gear, as the plank walkways to the house and the trails to the beach are jungle beautiful and someone rugged. However, family friendly for athletic and capable and active families with kids and there are some other kids around…but not too many. A nice balance. Perfect for a relaxing retreat to a hidden and largely unspoiled paradise cove for a solo or a couple or for a family affair. Can’t recommend this place, or this host, enough. A+

This place is amazing and exceeded all expectations! Matt is an awesome host who gives great recommendations around the area. The staff are super friendly and helpful too. The kitchen’s sliding doors open to the deck to give an outdoor kitchen feel and the rooms are clean and comfy. Nice, private beach with kayaks and boogie boards to use. I loved the yoga studio that overlooks the bay. This is the ideal place for a relaxing getaway and town is only a short walk away. Don’t miss Saturday nights with live music at the beach bar! I’ll definitely be back.
