Thanks again Everything is very good

The quality-price ratio of the hostel is very good. It has a good location, the rooms are okay and the breakfast is prepared everyday with a lot of love from the Dueña of the Hostel. However, the information provided by the hostel was very misleading, which is why we've first been to the wrong hostel. This needs to be updated urgently. Moreover, when we confronted the hosts, we received very unfriendly answers and cynical comments - which is a big no-go in the hospitality industry.

The hosts have gone out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was prepared with love. The murals are worth seeing. We enjoyed staying in the kitchen and on the balcony with the great view. Our room was a little too dark, humid, and didn't smell good. It was right next to the family premises. As a result, it was a bit noisy at times. Unfortunately there was no storage next to the bed. For this purpose, we could park our car right outside the door.

One of the best places I've stayed. Excellent hosts, the place is excellent. * Perfect location: If you come by bus from Puntarenas, it leaves you right on the corner; or if you come by car there is space to leave it. The accommodation is less than 5 minutes' walk from the centre. * Security: The area is very safe. * Cleanliness and comfort: The place is very spacious and very clean, it has hot water and comfortable beds, not to mention an excellent breakfast with homey touch that will help you start all your activities in Monteverde. It has several areas where you can rest and you can watch an excellent sunset. *Hosts: They are great people, they were always helping us, they were very attentive and made us feel at home. I definitely highly recommend the place, it has a lot of magic.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hostel, Hostel La Suerte. It is family owned and run so the hospitality is excellent. Benedicto's wife, Elvia, cooked us a tasty traditional Costa Rican breakfast, and his son helped us with checking in and out. He was also super helpful with recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area. There is an ample communal kitchen and a big balcony off the communal living room with seating to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the Gulf of Nicoya. The room was clean, shower was hot, and it was perfect for my small family of 3.
