AMAZING place! Serene nature sanctuary for solitude and rest. Incredible view from porch with hammock looking at the Volcano. Excellent service, including breakfast. Plenty of wildlife, including monkeys, butterflies, birds galore. Great value. I am glad I rented an ATV as the road up is very steep and rocky. Host recommended a taxi driver from the ferry port, and they were great. You can pay extra to have services like a massage in your own room. I would definitely book again!

The location and scenery are beautiful, the breakfast is delicious and included, and the pool is out of this world. The staff is amazing and dedicated. They arranged our driver for the weekend. There are no complaints, just a few warnings. The location is a bit hard to reach; you might want to hire a driver, rent an ATV or scooter, or plan your stay accordingly. The view of the volcano from my room’s outdoor hammock was simply perfect. One thing to note is that the room lacks a regular toilet. Instead, there’s a fancy hole with steps to get to it, but it doesn’t flush. They will clean it daily. Also, you’ll only get two towels, so ask for extra for the pool. Don’t forget to bring your toiletries, as they’re not included. Bug spray is a must. The room is clean, but expect bugs in the middle of nature , so keep your doors closed. We encountered a frog on our shoes, but again we were prepared because this is not a regular hotel. It’s an amazing experience if you love wildlife.

Easily the best place I've ever stayed on Airbnb. The place is exactly as shown in the photographs. The bed is very comfortable, there is a fan in case it's hot, the shower has hot and cold water, the room and bathroom were cleaned every day, and the "hallway" space with the hammock was very nice. The views from the room, restaurant, pool and yoga space are amazing. The staff was really nice. Many thanks to Allan who welcomed us with all his kindness after the long trip we had prior to Totoco. Many thanks to the rest of the staff for the excellent service. The hotel's breakfasts were a super plus too. Access to the hotel is a little complicated because the street is steep and not 100% paved (besides that we were on a motorcycle with a thousand bags), but I think it is the sacrifice that must be made to have the incredible views that you have. If you're coming by car, none of this is going to be a problem.
