Everyone in my group enjoyed Sharon's place! It was like being in the family vacation home. The yard was green and well landscaped, taken cared of. The house itself was very nice and accommodated all 9 of us without any problem. Sharon was very responsive and warm as a host. Will definitely keep it in mind when go back to Costa Rica!

The place is very nice, it is just as described and shown in the photos. It's very cool to feel that at the same time you're in a house outside your country, you feel at home. It is quite spacious, picturesque and excellent if you are going with a large family and children. The hosts are very attentive and to the best of their ability they solve what you need. 100% recommended

It is an excellent house to enjoy as a family, it has everything one needs Keep in mind that it is far from the city, but by car you can reach the shopping areas in 20 minutes The house was spotless and the service from Teresa, the manager, was excellent, always attentive to what we needed

I cant say enough good things. Highly recommend for families especially with young children. We rented the home for a month while awaiting our third baby, and our 4 & 5 year old had just the best time. As did my husband and I. The property is lush with beautiful plants and fruit trees, the Barva Volcano in view, beautiful weather, a small river below the hill which we very much enjoyed; complete privacy, spacious and with so much charm. You really step into a special prívate oasis .. and don’t really need to leave. The most perfect place to await baby, and post baby to recover and be peaceful. The owner and caretaker were always available and attentive to any needs, generous with bringing homegrown bananas, and making us feel entirely welcome and taken care of. It's a beautiful house. From the first moment I saw the photo I fell in love. I thank Sharon for allowing us to stay at her house these three days. The beds are very comfortable, the house is cozy, the views of the garden are beautiful, the whole space is very nice. My family and I had a great time. Thank you very much

Sharon and Manuel’s home is truly a hidden gem. Once you enter through the gate you feel like you are in your own private oasis, surrounded by beautiful and lush greenery, fruit trees, flowers and more. The home is very inviting and comfortable. It was very family and kid-friendly. Our children loved the toys and books available, but mostly enjoyed being outside in the lawn and playing on the swings, treehouse and sandbox. On rainy afternoons, we enjoyed sitting on the front porch swings. And we enjoyed many meals at the large table on the back screened in porch. Sharon was great with communication and Teresa was also available. We felt very welcome there and we are thankful to have found this home for our time near San Jose. Many mornings we walked to the Panaderia close by and there is also a small grocery that is well stocked within a short walk. It is also a beautiful and short drive from Poas Volcano, beautiful coffee farms and other places to visit. Highly recommend!!

We thought it was a beautiful place to rest

The Blue Mansion is beautiful, comfortable and very conducive to resting and sharing as a family.

Wonderful with Maison Blue; the story house, amenities and cleanliness have been excellent; the kitchen open to the living room was an ideal gathering place for the group (three couples), alternating lunches in the backyard and dinners in the living room. Gardens invite you to walk and sit under the woodland to read a book or just meditate and listen to the birds coming to the property. Communication with Sharon prior to the trip was very smooth, as was with Teresa during the stay for hiking tips in the area. Check-in time from Escazú is very comfortable, approx. 40 minutes We will definitely repeat the trip to Maison Blue and recommend it 100%

It was the best place we have gone so far on this platform, beautiful house and property, attentive hosts, lots to do, until we ask for one more day, 100% recommended

The house and gardens are wonderful. Everything was very well cared for. We have really enjoyed that corner of peace.

WONDERFUL!! This place is indeed a Sanctuary, very assessable yet tucked enough back off the road for privacy. We loved spending time both indoor and outdoor. There are so many places to sit and relax or work remotely.

Sharon and Manuel’s place is amazing! The setting is incredibly beautiful. You will love the large front and back porches complete with porch swings. We loved that there were screens in the windows and fans but we didn’t even need the fans since the weather was perfectly mountain cool with sun. The grounds have fruit trees and a butterfly garden. The home is very large with the best kitchen I’ve ever seen in my almost 30 years of going back and forth to CR. The home has beautiful wood touches and high ceilings. It’s really a special place and we hope to return soon!!

To start, i would like to thank Sharon for her awesome communication with me. On point all the time. Also, thanks to her manager Teresa, she was amazing help and always there if i need something. The home was beautiful and the location was super nice. The house was amazing and everyone loved it. i do want to say that air conditioning was not required at all, the house was cool at all time. everything was awesome and no complaints at all.

Perfect place to reset in the mountains. Walking distance to great panadería and small market near by as well. Bring a book and enjoy your café on the porch swing.

A beautiful, serene, hidden hideaway filled with special surprises! The hidden, twisty driveway is a bit of a challenge at first but adds to the charm of the rambling plantation still home. The home was spacious and comfortable for our family. We highly recommend staying at Sharon's hidden hideout. It is an excellent base to explore the natural beauty in the area. The home is charming, comfortable and spacious. Comfortable bathrooms with patina. The view to the mountains breath taking. The kitchen comfortable for family meals. Delightful front porch swings and screened in back porch for outdoor meals. A great family option with lots of value and responsive host.

The house is spacious and welcoming and the area is beautiful. We were able to use the location as a base to explore the area.

Sharon's place is amazing and we would definitely stay there again. Very close to restaurants, grocery stores, gas station and of course not too far from national parks and other attractions. The house was much bigger than expected. My daughter loved being allowed to feed the family cat and spend time with her on the porch swing. Sharon also let us stay there during the days she normally goes with her family which we truly appreciated because we didn't have to continue searching for a place that would accommodate our group of 8. Pura Vida Sharon!!!

Lovely! Huge beautiful garden filled with fruit trees! The house has many welcome touches, like mosquito screens, toys for kids, a good washer and dryer! Spacious and well appointed rooms. Perfect for a family and larger groups. Perfect respite.

Sharon's place is like stepping into a quiet time in the past. The home, it's design and decore reminded us of places in history we've always wanted to visit. The screened porch, hammocks, swings, gardens and vistas all provided for a tranquil and relaxing stay. The children loved the yard and many things to do on the property. We'd definitely stay here again!

We have been extremely well guided and welcomed. We really appreciated our stay. The house is comfortable and situated so we are near from the real life and from commodities. We really appreciated the view and the porch. I would recommend to provide a better description of the way to get to the house when arriving in the village. Thanks for letting us live this great experience!

The blue house is really great; we felt right at home. It's a house made for a family like ours. Everything was available and the manager was very kind. She picked us up and explained everything!

A beautiful home set on a huge piece of land on the hill side, greenery everywhere, fruit trees, flowers, awesome view. We felt right at home. The home is well furnished with all the kitchen equipment and utensils that we needed to prepare meals; shopped in the nearby market. Spacious bedrooms, plenty of closet space, large bathrooms, hot water, everything clean. Living room with comfortable sofas, TV with plenty of cable channels, wi-fi. Truly amazed with the design of the house and how every space is carefully utilized, lots of storage everywhere! Loved the collection of books; wish we had more time to read them! The home was more than comfortable for our group of 10 plus 2 toddlers. Teresa, the manager, was very attentive and prepared a nice welcome. She was available for all of our needs as was Sharon, or host via messaging. Definitely recommend and definitely would love to go back! (Waze App is the best App getting around in CR).
