A cozy house in a safe and quiet place. Very well equipped kitchen. It is a 5-minute walk to Playa Negra. In addition to the service. I accidentally canceled my reservation and the Airbnb team, along with the host, helped me resolve it quickly.

An excellent option to enjoy Puerto Viejo, close to the best beaches, restaurants, bars and supermarkets in the area. The host was very helpful, his response was very quick. The place is impeccable, as shown in the photos.

Our family of three had a great time and we were very comfortable. The instructions were easy to follow and we felt secure. If we had to suggest an improvement it might be another blanket on the bed and a list of tuk-tuk’s but we can’t overemphasize how happy we are with our choice to stay at Papi’s! Our questions were answered almost immediately and in a very helpful manner. It was a perfect place to relax and rest while enjoying our trip!

The house was complete with everything you could need to spend a pleasant time with family or friends, from games, a well-equipped kitchen, pool games for children.

🌴 Perfect Stay in Puerto Viejo! This place was an ideal home base for exploring Puerto Viejo. The neighborhood is quiet and feels really safe, which made us feel right at home. The parking space is spacious and convenient, and the house is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, truly a home away from home. Highly recommended for a relaxing and comfortable stay!

The place is very nice, the place and the pool is super clean. I would definitely love to be able to stay at this place again. The beach is about 300 meters away, you can walk perfectly and there is a minisuper about 200 meters away. 100% Recommended

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, with large, beautifully appointed bedrooms and super comfy beds and pillows. The kitchen was spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The pool was a highlight—sparkling clean and perfect for relaxing. The entire property is walled, which made it ideal and worry-free for our small dog to roam safely. Location-wise, it’s perfect—close enough to the center for convenience, but tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Bonus points for the cute little convenience store just a short walk away. Highly recommend—would definitely stay again!

More than amazing, we even had a Sloth in our backyard! We needed that scape!

We LOVED Papi's Place. It was actually better in person than the photos. Attention to detail was everywhere. You could tell there was a lot of time, effort and intention put into this rental. The beds were extremely comfortable. The pool was great. We enjoyed the property thoroughly. This is my second time to PV, and I plan on coming back a third. And I WILL be staying at Papi's Place. Thanks again for the great stay!

A beautiful house with pool. It is only a few minutes from the beach and there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

We enjoyed our stay at Papi's place. The location was good and the neighborhood was safe and quiet.

Nice Place , all of the basis were covered its not on the beach but its close the and space and private pool you have make up for not being on the water.…. there were bikes for getting into town. Host recommended restaurants and things to do. There were backpack beach chairs for day time sunbathing which I bought to the beach for daytime excursions. And plenty of linens for the bathrooms. I had no complaints the place was private and secluded. I needed the bikes or local tuk tuk taxis to get to the center of town which wasn’t a problem. I recommend getting a small suv if you want to drive yourself some of the roads are a little bumpy… and a regular car just wont do. Bring a small umbrella for the daytime occasional showers. There was a supermarket which wasn’t too far It was great for food and snacks etc when not dining in town…Papi’s place met all of my needs and I would definitely stay again.

Papi’s Place was a great place to go with a small family. The pool is nice to have but it’s quite small. I thought it was an especially nice touch to have so many nice beach items/pool toys for our kids to play with. I liked how quiet the area was - we occasionally heard dogs/construction noises but ONLY during the day. Would 10/10 recommend.

A super nice place. The pool was beautiful, the kids loved it Kitchen was full, all the essentials were there. Bike was an extra super nice. We enjoyed the beach in the afternoon and the kids were also delighted. 10 minute walk to get there Howler monkey every morning at lunch, we could hear them nearby Thank you for everything, a place I'll be back

Papi's Place was great for our family. Car rentals during this season is untouchable ($150) per day! However, Uber from the house to town and Tut-Tut's back to the house works great and very inexpensive. The house was equipped with majority of everything from home. The fan was a plus while relaxing by the pool. If you plan on cooking meals, the only downside is pots and pans are very limited but that did not interfere with us enjoying our stay. It was awesome!!!

Beautiful place, clean super comfortable, King beds, air conditioning. Perfect pool and that the out electric gate was perfect. Kitchen has everything you need. Thank you very much. We'll be back.

We loved our stay at this beautiful villa as described and very well-equipped . Yes, there are dogs and work next door in the morning but nothing disturbing. The howler monkeys are not far away, the birds are well present. Very good location. It was good.

Perfect, if you're in the area don't hesitate, the kids loved the pool.

We enjoyed our stay at Papi’s place very much. It’s a short drive (with plenty of tuk tuks available locally) or a 20 minute walk along the beach to Puerto Viejo where there’s plenty good quality restaurants. It suited our needs perfectly for our young family and we liked the fact it was enclosed and felt safe. We adored the surrounding area and found people exceptionally friendly.

Very nice house, we had a great time.

Papi’s place was simply paradise. We felt right at home. Walking distance from beautiful beaches. The pool is great if you just want to stay home and chill. The beds were comfortable. The house is surrounded by rainforest so expect calming nature sounds all day long. Kitchen is well equipped. As a cook I was happy to find everything I needed. We will be back!

The place is very comfortable, new, clean and very quiet. The host is always attentive, friendly and responsible. I would come back again with great taste. I only have one suggestion and it is that although it has many appliances in perfect condition, it did not have the rice cooker so it would be good to buy one. The house is secure, comfortable and the pool is very convenient.

We had an awesome stay at Papi's - The house was beautiful - almost brand new and immaculately clean. Lots of thoughtful touches, and the kitchen had everything you could think of. Walking out of the bedrooms or living area straight to the gorgeous pool was our favourite. The location was easy to find, and the beach was only a few minutes' walk away. A quiet area away from the bustle of Puerto Viejo which was a 5 minute drive. Our hosts were extremely responsive and gave us lots of great local tips. We will definitely be back to stay!
