The location worked out well - away from the bustle of beach yet close enough to walk or use provided golf cart. Having the security guard at beach made it nice to leave belongings without worry. The pool was a wonderful respite after the beach. The personnel on site were very gracious and responsive to our needs. Of what we saw of Roatan, I would say West Bay beach and the area is the best location to stay. The beach is beautiful with snorkeling within easy swimming distance. The quality of the reef was a nice surprise which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for sharing your home!

My family had a great stay for sure. The place was large, had lots of amenities, and was a very short walk to the beach (4 mins normally). There are also two very friendly and well behaved cats on property which added to the experience. I would stay here again.

This was a great place to visit in West Bay, Roatán. The atmosphere was beautiful, relaxing, and exactly what you hope for when spending time near the beach. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and everything felt easygoing and enjoyable. The location was perfect, with gorgeous views and a peaceful island vibe. I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting West Bay.

we absolutely loved our stay! we had two other families with us we stayed in the main house and the apartment was great for privacy when the other family wanted some down time. the other family stayed in the villa, it was nice it was so close yet secluded. the pool was fabulous!!! - we hung out there a lot on the hammock! beach towels and coolers being provided were clutch so we could pack lightly. everything was clean and stocked, sue ellen was always helpful and accommodating, everyone responded super quick to any questions we had. the golf cart was great for lugging kids and beach bags. we absolutely LOVED the private beach area with access to beach chairs and floating in the ocean. we will be back next year!!!!

Great place for family and close to the beach

It is true what they say, “the second time around is better than the first.”My husband and I were here last year and rented the one bedroom villa. This year we returned with the family and rented both the villa and the four bedroom house. The accommodations were on point. Anything we needed in the house was provided. Communication with the host was good. The highlight for the children was having 2 pools to enjoy. The beach, convenient stores, activities and restaurants all in walking distance. Our Roatan vacation was amazing! We will be back again.

We had a wonderful stay at this house in Roatán. The home is beautiful, airy, and very comfortable both inside and out. The kitchen is fully equipped and gorgeous, the internet was fast and reliable, and there were plenty of towels and extra bedding. We visited during the rainy season and spent lots of time on the wraparound, fully screened porch. The couches and hammock made it an incredibly comfortable space to relax. After several days of heavy rain, the road to the beach became muddy, but it didn’t bother us much, and Renee kindly offered the use of a golf cart. The beach nearby is beautiful and has many great restaurants and bars, making it easy to enjoy both relaxation and nightlife. The house is surrounded by banana plants and lush jungle trees, and we were lucky enough to see macaws flying around and sitting in the trees in front of the house. We absolutely recommend this place and would happily return.

Renee and the on site hosts were wonderful from beginning and throughout our stay. I can’t recommend them enough to others. We would stay again for sure.

Wonder of place

This is a fantastic, clean, well appointed space super close to the beach. Golf cart super convenient to get things back and forth to the beach. Having the chairs available at the beach was lovely! The beds were super comfortable. Multiple outdoor sitting spaces and a pool! Perfect after a day at the beach. We didn't want to leave!

If you are coming to Roatan, stay in Casa Familia, you will not regret!! The house is wonderful, has tons of space, is in a great location with lots of restaurants around and convenience stores too!! Is like 3 minutes walk to the beach. Renee and the co-hosts, specially Marian that is locate here in roatan are beyond awesome. Marian is very attentive and responsive with anything you need.

100% recommended... literal 5 mnts walking from west bay beach walking, we rented a Van because we were a big group and there was also parking one block from the beach ( or closer ) ... a nice spacious house, it has mosquito mesh to enjoy the hammocks and the outside area and it was very favorable because I was walking with my baby... they left me to a pen for my baby... spacious bathrooms and one for each room ... and it has everything needed for the kitchen ... we were very comfortable we didn't want to leave the house... I think what they charge is just x the stay... they were flexible at the time of arrival and from there they already earned me... I appreciate it! I WOULD COME BACK!

Second time staying here . Great location for the best side of the island in my opinion. Has plenty of space for a big group , everything you need . Highly recommend using Johan for any of your local travel . He’s a local who knows the island very well.

Excellent location. The house is well structured, but needs maintenance. The construction works next door are quite annoying. The host is very nice and attentive. He solved a problem quickly. It's a good option for vacationing
