Sandy Bottoms Retreat

Our stay was amazing. They met us at the international ferry, helped us arrange golf carts, and got us to the house with great recommendations for groceries and food. The house is south of town away from the hustle and bustle which we liked. Just plan for your groceries. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. We felt right at home. Additionally they recommended Capt. Carlos who provided us great fishing and snorkeling tours. We would definitely stay here again.

This was my 2nd trip to the island and I love it so much that I brought friends and family to what I consider paradise to celebrate my son's graduation and our friend's birthday. Sandy Bottoms did NOT disappoint! From ensuring we had all of the information we needed before hand, the ease of getting golf carts through their partner, making recommendations and providing contacts all the way to arranging a private dinner for us at the house - it was perfect. Ambergris Caye is one of the most special places on earth. Mary was always available for anything at all that we needed and her husband's (Robin) restaurant across the street was a delightful surprise. We arrived later in the day and were able to just walk across the street for some amazing beverages (highly recommend he make you surprise drinks) and great food. Mary arranged to have food at the house waiting on us to get us started before being able to go to the store. We all highly recommend Sandy Bottoms and will be back!!!!

We had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful and spacious and it felt like a private resort. Mary helped arrange transfers and gave us lots of tips and was there for anything we might need. We used Marfa for both her private chef services and in home massage and scrubs and both were amazing! We used captain Carlos for a charter and he allowed us to do a private boat day, with fishing and a bbq etc it was amazing. We had Jairo and Will as our boat crew. They were above and beyond. We used MK golf cart rentals and they picked us up with Mary and took us to the shuttle. It was honestly so easy and seamless. The house is amazing but the staff help push the experience over the top. I highly recommend the house and all of the vendors we used.

Sandy Bottoms was fantastic! Very comfortable and roomy for our family of 6. Beautiful home with great amenities. Mary was an amazing hostess; she met us at the airport with golf carts, showed us to the home and responded to our every request! Will stay here again and highly recommend.

Really happy we chose this place to celebrate my 50th with friends 😁it was nothing short of an amazing house. We had the best time, lots to do, easy to get anywhere we needed to go in San Pedro. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone else.

Sandy Bottoms was amazing. Very beautiful and clean. Mary is very helpful and kind. Her husband runs Stax restaurant and bar across the road from Sandy Bottoms and his food and drinks are incredible. Try a pina colada. This is our second trip to San Pedro and our best yet. Highly recommend staying here.

This house was absolutely impressive. My whole family was blown away by how beautiful this house was. It was so clean as well. I can't even begin to tell you about how wonderful the service was too. Lots of water included, mid-week cleaning, luggage delivery to airport, and so much more. Granddaughter could not get enough of this very nice pool. Highly recommend staying here

This is possibly the best AirBNB we have stayed at due to the house itself and the customer service and support which made our first visit easy.

Honestly, best experience for myself and the group of friends I traveled with for our first time in Belize. Everything about the home was beautiful, inside and out. Pamela was great at communicating all needed information and helping answer any questions we had, as well as checking in to see if we needed anything. Mary, the host, was amazing at arranging everything, from having a taxi ready for us to be picked up to arranging a last minute tour to a Mayan temple. She was also super great at communicating, if we had a question or request we would get an immediate answer. One night we wanted to use the grill to make dinner, come to find out the propane tank was empty but right away Mary arranged for Cornelio, the onsite caretaker, to come switch out the propane tank. Within 5 minutes he was outside getting it switched. The house is in a quiet and very secure part of the island so we all felt comfortable. This whole experience was amazing and if I could rate it 6 stars I would!
