Very simple cabin, fantastic location on the beach. There is a lack of comfortable seating on the terrace, and overall, there is very little space.

The place is very comfortable and cozy. I had a night and slept great. You don't hear any noise from anywhere, it's also quite safe, and best of all, it has beach access. Right on Playa Bandera; it's very nice and quiet. Ideal for enjoying with the family! The managers do maintenance every day, so the rooms are impeccable. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The mattress was very soft, ideal for resting. Would go back at any time. I couldn't enjoy the pool because I had limited time, but it's very nice; it's new. So I probably want to go back. The town. It's very quiet and still has a rural feel.

The place is beautiful, very well equipped, clean, and tidy, Don Freddy and his family were very kind and very pleasant at all times.

We had a great time! It was so beautiful. It was a little hard to find - no surfboard in trees - but once we were in, all was good. Very welcoming and responsive hosts, amazing location. Clean sheets, nice towels, great shower, big kitchen. Everything you need. Pool was so clean! Beach was amazing. This is a very chill, not touristy area. Very happy with our night here. Recommend if you’re looking for a quiet place off the beaten path.

This is a hostel. As such it was definitely worth the money we spent. That said, be aware of where you are staying. It is a very tiny cabin with just enough room for a queen bed. You will likely have to keep some things in your car. The bathroom should have been six inches wider. I apologize in advance for the image but you need to spread your knees while sitting on the toilet because of the proximity of the wall. Or sit sideways. We were cozy and just fine in there. The pool and barbecue area were awesome but while we were there a couple, and then a family set themselves up early in the morning and dominated the space playing very loud music. We didn’t feel comfortable in that space at all. Fortunately the beach is spectacular. The music goes right through the walls of your cabin. I texted the host about it in the evening and he requested they turn it down which they did. Rule is 10 PM quiet time. The macaws and other birds were a special treat to go with our morning coffee!

Very well-equipped space, standard room but spacious shared kitchen and pool area in a large exotic garden, all away from the crowds! Ideal for meeting face to face!

This place is amazing and was easily a highlight of the trip! Direct access to a beautiful, almost private beach. The house is lovely, and the shared kitchen has everything you need. Even better in real life than in the pictures.

The tranquility of the place and the deserted beach with a sublime sunset over the Pacific. Surfboards can be rented on site. Just ask Freddy.

This place is fairly remote - but Parrita stores are about a 10minute drive away - road is little rough - but your car will be ok - drive slow - we really enjoyed our stay - we came for solitude and beach time and we got it. Our little cabin was perfect - maybe a bit tight - but we spent time on beach for most of the day - so no big deal. The AC was so good !! The grounds around the cabin look even better now from the current pictures - we had beautiful plants all around our patio. The patio was a great place to sit and relax. You can easily walk or drive to the beach - it’s not far. Great shade in the beach hut at the top of the dunes. We saw maybe 8 people total on the beach. The shared kitchen was nice and a full sized refrigerator was great to have. Kayla and Freddy are super nice folks - if you’re looking for quiet beach time this is the place. total for total

Absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful private black sand beach access. It was absolutely perfect for low maintenance people who want a more local feel. The hosts were so friendly and even brought us some fresh coconuts! We only stayed 2 nights but could have stayed a whole week. definitely recommend!

This is a tiny and lovely little home in the middle of no where! When we got there, we were warmly welcomed by a lovely woman who brought us fresh squeezed mango in a wine glass. This home is fabulous, just steps away from the beautiful Parrita beaches! We picked this location because it was in the center of the attractions we wanted to visit, like Jaco beach, Manuel Antonio National Park and Nauyaca Waterfalls. Favian was always responsive to texts through the AirBnb app and helped us with places for dinner three nights in a row! They have a swimming pool there and a shared kitchen space for all of the cottages. Everyone that stayed there was very pleasant and friendly. I would highly recommmend this place to anyone, and when I return, I will definitley stay here again! Pura vida!

The place is exactly as described in the photos – small and simple, but we knew that before. It was very clean and absolutely sufficient for a few relaxing days. The family on site is super warm – we were greeted directly with a fresh pineapple juice and were even allowed to use the pool, which was not mentioned in the description at all. A real highlight, as we had it all to ourselves! The adjacent beach is just a few steps away – you are practically alone there, which was really special. For surfers, it is certainly a real highlight due to the high waves. The area is extremely quiet – so if you are looking for absolute relaxation or a few days of peace with the family, this is the place to be. The sea is not suitable for swimming, but you can still splash around a bit.

Perfect location, short walk to a beautiful private beach. These little beach houses are perfect as a base to explore the area from and have everything you need. Great air con! Our only issue was locating it in the dark following a cancelled flight - directions are not very clear, the ‘big wooden gate’ is one of many on the road, but actually has Casa Cielo written on it so it took us two hours to locate in the dark, and our many calls to Favian went to voicemail. We eventually found it by reading other reviews and seeing someone else had also driven past it - as this guest mentioned, look for the small faded blue surfboard (but this is not in the directions or photos provided, which would have been very helpful). Luckily we tried the gate in desperation and it opened!
