Our weekend stay at Casa Almedra was everything we were hoping to be. The house is fully equipped with everything you need to stay in. The direct access to the beach was my favorite feature. Michael comunicate with me in a timely manner and allow me for a flexible check in and out. We enjoy our stay and had a great time.

Our family had a great stay. It was just what we needed to get away and enjoy peace and quiet. It’s a beautiful house right on the beach with a great pool. We would definitely stay there again.

Great place if your looking for a peaceful getaway. Well equipped kitchen, great host. Would highly recommend and I will be back.

This is our second time coming back to this beautiful home in this incredible location- and we will be back again! The home’s location is private and peaceful, yet close to restaurants and activities. The beach is footsteps away and you’ll fall asleep to the sound of the ocean waves. The home itself is wonderful- perfect for a family or friends traveling together. Our kids loved the pool and the covered patio with table and lounge furniture made for a great suave to craft, play cards and work needed. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at ‘home’ - including storage containers for leftovers. Mike is an incredible host- responsive and proactive. We absolutely LOVE staying here!

This place is exactly what we needed to get away from it all for 5 days. On the beach. Private gated entrance. Beautiful house. Cambutal is a growing surf community, and the friendliest people I’ve ever met are from there. Every time I passed someone they were smiling and waving. I’ll prob be back here eventually, no doubt.

Our stay at Casa Almendra was Amazing. We are a family of 5 with three young kids and it was perfect! The beach was so close and had amazing sunsets. The pool was such a treat for the kids. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Michael was very responsive and super helpful. We felt very safe and the community of Cambutal were so lovely. The grocery store near by had everything we needed to be able to cook and there are a few local restaurants close by. We would definitely stay again.

We highly recommend this beautiful beachfront home! Even though the waves were not huge in January, we were still able to surf right in front of the house, which was incredibly convenient with young children. The pool and the outdoor area were stunning, and the house itself was beautiful, spotless, and impeccably maintained. Mike is an exceptional host — very responsive and attentive. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back!

An amazingly beautiful and private stay right on the beach - really memorable and beautiful house! Michael is a great host. I would definitely advise to all coming here that you need a 4 wheel drive to access the property even in the dry season. It’s a journey to get there but it’s worth it!
