I had the best stay at Waves and WiFi! The beach is a quick 2 minute walk, the property is lovely, and the room was well designed. It feels like a community because of the folks staying as co-livers who are all incredibly welcoming. And Kooks cafe being onsite is an added bonus - definitely the best breakfast and coffee in the area, as well as wonderful service!

Gerardo and staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We loved the convenient location a short walk to the beach and other restaurants in town. Kooks cafe next door provided delicious breakfast options.

Check-in was a breeze, and the host was always available to answer my questions. They provided a super handy Google Maps link with all the best things to do and places to eat in the area. My room was super cute and clean, just like the photos. I loved the locally made hand tiles on the wall. The room had AC, which is a must for me, and a fan. Since the place is run off solar, even during the rolling power outages that you get in Central America, I could still shower, use the fan, and had WiFi. The community here is very cool, offering a variety of community events and weekly activities. There's a nice pool for a refreshing swim. Having Kooks Cafe and the co-working space on-site was so convenient – totally a game changer. They offer scooter rentals to get around, but I didn't stay long enough to need one. Everything I needed was within walking distance or on the property. If you're looking for an awesome community and a place to meet cool people while working remotely, look no further
