This place was absolutely amazing! This was our first trip to CR. Marco was phenomenal. He helped guide us to the property, met us at arrival, gave outstanding recommendations, and was a very reliable resource. He even quickly came to let us in when we locked ourselves out! The property itself is simply amazing. I was slightly apprehensive never having been in an open living space before but it was part of the adventure. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the table in the open air yet having cool accommodations upstairs at night. The price point can be a little shocking but it is so worth it to have a completely amazing experience in another country. The location of the property was so perfect! We walked almost everywhere. Coffee less than a block away every morning. So many sodas and restaurants, convenience stores, souvenir shops all within a few blocks. Sooooooooo AMAZING! Thank you Marco!

We had an incredible stay at Casa Aloma. Anything that you could think of was available at the property to make our stay super comfortable, including a lovely welcome basket upon our arrival. Marco was very friendly and helpful, providing very clear instructions for entry and helpful local tips and recommendations. The property itself was stunning and even better than we expected from the photos. The pool was heated and the rooms air conditioned to the perfect temperature for swimming and sleeping. The location couldn’t have been better, in the middle of it all, while still feeling very private and secure. We hope our travels bring us back here soon!

He gave us some great recommendations and was always accessible if we had a quick question. The house was everything that we need for our trip, so glad we found this gem!

Its location is perfect—an easy walk to the center of La Fortuna while still feeling peaceful and private. It was also very easy for our private drivers to find when we headed out for our adventures. Here’s a polished version: We had a wonderful stay in La Fortuna! Marco Antonio was extremely responsive, helpful, and a great host. His place was unique, peaceful, and so relaxing. We especially loved the pool and enjoyed staying in and making dinner on the grill. It rained quite a bit during our stay, and we experienced a roof leak in one of the bedrooms. Marco Antonio responded very quickly and was extremely accommodating, even offering to let us extend our stay at no additional cost. The location was also excellent—anything we needed was within walking distance, making it very convenient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated Marco Antonio’s outstanding hospitality and responsiveness! A must stay place!

Unique house in a great location. Enjoyed the open concept and pool. Downtown La Fortuna, but just off the main roads. Easy to get around and was clean and secure. House was super friendly and responsive!

Our family really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again. This is a great location downtown, with many restaurants and activities that are walkable. The home is comfortable, well planned out, and had everything we needed. We would not hesitate to come back.

Stayed four nights at this beautiful home conveniently located in downtown La Fortuna. The unique open air downstairs layout with pool was the perfect place to relax after exploring the area. Marco was a responsive host answering all my questions. During our stay a coffee pot was accidentally broken and Marco quickly replaced it with a new one. Highly recommend this gorgeous home.

This is a lovely home with cold AC in every room. Very secured home and outdoor pool is heated. You really can hang out and chill at the home all day and night. You can walk to the local meat market and bar b q at home and have your drinks at home. The home is very modern and well kept. I 100% recommend staying here with your family and friends I promise you won’t want to leave. 3 nights was not long enough. Please just clean up after yourselves as best possible and enjoy your trip.

We loved our stay here! Marco was so helpful anytime we had a question or concerned. Loved that he was nearby in case we needed something. The location was perfect to get anywhere in town. We also enjoyed the pool!

Perfect home base for our family of 6 in La Fortuna. Marco's property is within walking distance of all of downtown but feels like a private oasis. We loved the open living space!
