I have never rented an Air BnB before, let alone 1 in another country. my brother in law wanted to stay in a condo on Coronado Beach, however, the only 1 we could find had parking for only 1 vehicle , plus I liked some of the features I saw on this place ..arriving to the property is the most difficult part. do not arrive at night if you are not familiar with this country . the Waze map as of our stay ( obviously could change ) takes you in a very odd secluded way . . the property has a 24 hour on duty guard who stays in his own home on site with 2 dogs ..we had Nicholas as our guard . he was super friendly & very attentive..he brought us fresh mangoes in the morning & cut 2.coconuts that we bought . . there is a lady named Dunia that comes around 7:30/8 am to take care of all of your needs such as cooking &, finding items you might need. they really have everything in stock you can think of , from worschesire sauce ( for grilling steak or carryout from don.chachos ) & ziplock bags they bring a large 5 gallon bottle of fresh water , the refrigerator is huge & had some general condiments, but probably best to bring your own. the grounds are well kept & it's like a mini rain forest with all types of exotic birds & the grass feels so good to walk in barefoot . . the pool is clean , though it has a sharp dropoff so you have to be careful with the children I enjoyed the rustic architecture of the home , I thought from the pictures it would be more modern. . I was disappointed upon arrival to find cockroaches & one of the bathroom toilets was dirty as for the cockroaches, I once stayed in a professional golf community in Florida & there were a few running around . I complained & the staff said, this is the tropics , it's normal , so I wasn't really that concerned but it would nice if there were none . the beach is a short walk , maybe 5-7 minutes ..where you enter between the 2 sets of rocks set up for erosion control is the best place to swim as it is very calm there . the sand is black, to sand tone, the black sand has a beautiful shine of tiny specs of sand that look like diamonds/glass . when you enter the community there is a guard station ..with a national police station. the area is not up to USA standards & you may feel.uncomfoetable.with your surroundings..I spoke with a few different people, including a security guard from a local grocery store whom.said there are very few problems there . however, for security sake, keep a low profile, dont play loud music or do anything to bring unnecessary attn to yourselves & community with Nicholas or the other security worker about your concerns , make sure doors & gates are secured & night & you should be just fine . -hosts communication was super excellent -ideal for retirees, 2-4 families with children at a time &/or 2 -4 single couples at a time. I believe our children & myself will always remember this unique Central American beach home..& the experiences we had while there ..

The house is just as expected, very spacious, just ideal for a family retreat. Everything worked (wifi, cable, ac), the pool is a great place to be! Walking distance to the beach is also great
