We had a lovely stay in Emilia place - it is a perfect house, with everything a family needs, in a quite beautiful setting away from the busy town but close enough for everything you need. The house location is prefect for using the beach, can walk within a few minutes, and exploring the local area. Emilia provided great recommendations of places to visit and eat which was great for our family - we visited montezuma and were very lucky to see baby turtles being released, having the pool was a huge positive and it was lovely and quiet … kids had a great time and most of the time to themselves. Emilia communicating was great from start to finish - thank you for a wonderful stay.

The house is very well equipped, the net over the living room is ideal for children, the pool is great, and the location is excellent. We will be back soon. Highly recommended.

Excellent location. You don’t need a 4x4 vehicle. You can easily walk to Playa Carmen. Each apartment offers plenty of privacy and spacious living areas. Your car stays safe and secure. I especially appreciated the large, comfortable beds, and the fact that each bedroom has its own private bathroom. The only improvements I would suggest are having an electronic lock on the main entrance, as it currently uses a small key, and adding a microwave in the kitchen. It would also be nice to provide blankets in the bedrooms for more comfort. they are wonderful hosts, and I would definitely come back without hesitation!

We had a great stay and would recommend this accommodation without hesitation! The accommodation was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. Everything was well thought out, and we had everything we needed to fully enjoy our stay. The location is also perfect, just a few minutes' walk from the grocery store and the beach, which is very convenient. The pool was always clean and pleasant, a real plus for relaxing. We also really appreciated the friendliness of the on-site staff. Everyone was welcoming, smiling, and always ready to help. Thanks for a great experience!

The house was perfect for our short stay in Malpais. Walkable to the beach and a handful of restaurants. We had rented an ATV to get around and explore further. We did not get a chance to use the pool as we spent most of the time at the beach, though we’ve looked very inviting. The hosts were very attentive and quick to respond to questions and share recommendations. I would definitely recommend renting this home if you’re in the area.

We had the very best time. The villa was even more beautiful than expected. The kids had a lot of fun on the net floor next to the pool. The complex with several villas is superbly maintained and beautifully designed. We will be happy to come back. Thanks, Emilia and Mike

A wonderful place to stay in Santa Teresa! (and we have been in town several times!) . First, the property is very nice, even better than in the pictures. Beautiful garden, peaceful, very easy walk to a part of the beach that is never crowded, and offers shadow, tide pools and open swimming space, even some monkeys choose that spot to chill in the trees! Also it's walking distance from a couple of supermarkets and The Bakery, a highly recommended coffee shop that it's a must when we visit. Emilia and Mike are the best hosts you can get, like having family or friends in town.

Excellent, every detail was taken care of, and the service was impeccable. It definitely met my expectations. Recommended!

We enjoyed the accommodation very much. The rooms were as described and very clean. To get around in Santa Teresa, a car or ATV is recommended. Communication worked very well and quickly. We would mist definitely visit again.

Great stay in one of the most beautiful vacation rentals we have visited so far. It had everything you needed! The location is good, as you are not far from the beach, supermarket, etc., but you do have to walk on the street. If we go back to Costa Rica, we'll definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Emilia's! The place is just as beautiful as in the photos. We were particularly positively surprised that someone came by every day to clean and make beds. When we had a small problem with nocturnal ants in the room, we immediately received feedback and it was passed on to the gardeners the next day. Thank you for this incredibly wonderful stay!

Let me just say, this place was AMAZING! Top Tier! I loved how they had so many of the native plants and trees incorporated into the property. It was very peaceful and serene! We loved the little hammock in the ceiling. Everything was great! I can’t wait to book again! The Dpalm Villas were in walking distance of the restaurant, shops, and markets in town. You can tell it is truly Pura Vida…the simple life and we loved every minute of it!

We loved everything about Emilia's place. The place is very well designed with lots of light and open space. It actually felt more spacious than what we expected from the pictures. It was very clean and well-equipped. The shared pool is very nice and we actually had it to ourselves most of the time. Our kids loved it! We would definitely stay there again.

This place is perfect for a couple's or family getaway. The house is located in a very safe condominium, with a very nice pool. The detail of being able to take a shower as if you were among the treetops was spectacular! I would stay at Mike's house again without any problems.

This was an incredible stay! The hosts were incredibly responsible and helpful, and the house was absolutely stunning. I could not recommend it enough. The only thing to consider is that the home is a bit of a walk from the larger strip of stores in Santa Teresa, but it is doable especially if you have vehicles like ATVs.

We stayed at this AirBnB for 4 nights while visiting Santa Teresa. This was the best Airbnb we had the whole trip during our 3 weeks in Costa Rica. The unit is large, clean, in a beautiful setting. There is a family of monkeys on the trees at the back of the property we were able to see them most mornings while showering in the outdoor showers. Santa Teresa and this unit are both beautiful.

A gem! The house is spacious, clean, well-equipped, 3 minutes from the beach. Mike gave us some great tips that allowed us to have a wonderful time with our 2 little boys in Santa Teresa. A little paradise we'll come back to as soon as possible!!

Exceeded our expectations! The location is incredible. Short walk to a less crowded side of the beach with a great wave to surf and fun tide pools for the kids to play on. The house itself was perfect, each room has a king size bed and plenty of storage. Was perfect size for our two kids to share. Their favorite part was the net hammock that spans the open area upstairs. The property is perfectly tucked into the community to give privacy. The pool is perfect after a long day at the beach. We hated to leave and can’t wait to come back!

We loved the villa in Puntarenas. The location was ideal and the villa itself is just like the pictures. We especially loved the big bedrooms with open air showers. Mike was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for local beach bars to see the magnificent sunsets as well as detailed instructions for a fun hike In Montezuma and lunch at Playa de Los Artistas. The food was incredible and the restaurant is worth the drive to a Montezuma ( 30 minutes).Thank you for a great stay in beautiful Santa Teresa. We highly recommend this Airbnb.

Very good accommodation and hosts, I would recommend it to friends without a doubt.

We really enjoyed it! We had contact with Mike and he gave us very good tips on what to do well with children in the area. The place was very special and had everything we wanted. The cribs and toys indicated were not in the house but were brought immediately when we asked for them. That was great. Parking was great, the facility was secured and totally clean, "neighbors" were also friendly. In general, the atmosphere there and in the whole corner santa Teresa is really beautiful ☀️

I would definitely come back again, this is my second visit and I wouldn't hesitate to come back 😃

The stay was everything we wanted for our last destination. An amazing villa, pool, clean rooms. It was really great and we were super happy with the house. It was of high quality and amazing value for money. So no feedback! Just for those who like to be close to the Main Street, it’s a bit far away, so that’s just to remember.

Fantastic villa and great host. The villa is stunning and very functional. We loved the outdoor amenities, shared pool was not an issue as there are enough loungers. There is a lovely beach walking distance from the villa, perfect to watch the beautiful sunsets. Mike is lovely and provided some excellent recommendations. Thank you, we had a super relaxed stay!

From then moment we checked on the experience was amazing. Mike greeted us and gave us all the information about the home and about the town of Mal Pais and Santa Theresa. The home and the ground were immaculate ! The wildlife around the property was a special treat. We were about to see monkeys, birds and iguanas every day sitting on the patio. The closeness to the beach and to town was definately a great feature. We would stay here again if we were able to return to the Santa Theresa/Mal Pais area!

We loved staying a D Palm Villas, the location was away from the busy hustle and bustle but close enough to walk into town and to the beach. The space was spacious, clean and we absolutely loved it!

This place is awesome. It’s private while being close to restaurants and stuff to do. A really easy walk to the beach which we did every day. In a gated community with other rentals that had friendly guests. The back patio is surrounded by trees and we saw monkeys and lots of birds. Everything worked properly and was super clean. Modern and spacious while surrounded by nature. Comfortable bed and great shower and towels and linens. Responsive friendly hosts who were more than accommodating. This place will soon be listed as a “rare find.” It was perfect!

This villa was everything we wanted and more. The pictures do not do it justice. The rooms were so comfortable and the outside shower was unique and fun. We loved sitting on the back porch and enjoying the large windows. The location is perfect for walking to the town or the beach. Emilia and Mike were fantastic. We were two couples and loved this space. Highly recommend!

What an incredible stay at this amazing villa, we are already missing it. The place is brand new, spotless and so comfortable. Big giant windows that open up to the jungle, so much space for our baby to play and an incredible pool on a really amazing property. The whole place was designed so well, the pool is always in the shade and the loungers are always in the sun, it was really perfect and Mike & Emilia were amazing hosts. The villa is just across the street from the best section of Carmen beach and is still really close to all the best restaurants. Super safe and private location with security and a gate, honestly could not recommend more. Thank you DPalm!
