What a gift to stay in this place… felt like staying in a nature preserve - so much going on in the trees! I went there to get some work done and I could take breaks, go outside and feel immediately present. This AirBnB had all the conveniences and amenities you could hope for and the coffee is amazing. The true treasure was the sweet family that works together to keep this place running and guests happy. They were so helpful and kind! Hope to return!

We loved the Cabana Montana, Gricel was a wonderful host! Great location to visit Chirripo and Perez Zeledon! Beautiful surroundings, very clean, provided coffee, fresh fruit ❤️ and soaps. Great kitchen if you would like to cook, we went to restaurants close by! Thank you for your hospitality!

Excellent accommodation, clean and well-equipped. The terrace surrounded by vegetation allows you to spend memorable evenings in the heart of nature. a location close to town that makes it easy to get supplies. Some traffic noise however due to the unbridled mopeds but no dwelling escapes it.

What a fantastic house ! We felt like we were living in the trees. Birds all around us in the early mornings. Close to town to get groceries and restaurants. Close to Chirripo national park, Talamanca and Cloud Bridge reserves. Quick drive from San Isidro for any larger shopping. Great place to stay.

Very well appointed and equipped in a great location overlooking the delightful town of Rivas. We were very comfortable and managed to tune out the motor cycles heading up the hill behind us. Highly recommended

We loved our stay in Rivas. Mario was a wonderful and friendly host. Gricel arranged a crib for our son even though it wasn’t listed as an amenity. She even connected us with a babysitter. Mario let our son play with their adorable puppy and even took him on a ride on the quad. At first we were concerned about noise from the street but it wasn’t a problem. The cabin is nestled on the hill surrounded by trees. We saw birds and iguanas from our porch every day.

Modern apartment with a beautiful terrace in the middle of the trees overlooking the village. The living area is bright and you feel right in nature. The two bedrooms in the back each have their own bathroom. The host family was incredibly warm and we felt immediately welcome. Unfortunately, the street behind the house is a bit noisy (many motorcycles) but fortunately there was no more traffic at night. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would have liked to have stayed longer.

We had an amazing stay at Gricel’s beautiful cabina! We felt right at home! Gricel and her family were simply incredible, friendly and so welcoming! They made sure that we had everything we needed and were quickly available to answer any questions we had! We loved the fresh fruits that they generously had for us at our arrival and to also have the chance to get to know Gricel and her beautiful family over coffee before our departure! A must place to stay if you are in the area! We will be gladly back again😊
