The house is beautiful and private. We had a sloth in the tree outside when we arrived which thrilled us all. Michelle, the local host and concierge is very helpful And responsive. It would be useful to have a house book with local recommendation and suggestions, to be able to explore without having to bother Michelle. There is a gorgeous tub in the master bath that is missing a plug-making it unusable-which felt like a loss. The description of bugs in the jungle is đŻ accurate, no amount of cleaning, sweeping and being mindful with lights and doors, kept the critters out, so it is something to bear in mind if you donât like creepy crawlers. Overall a great experience, a beautiful home, and a responsive team.
We had an incredible time. There was so much to do around the area. Laurenâs place was amazing! We did so many fun things like Deep Sea fishing, an ATV Tour and just chilling out at Laurenâs place was equally as fun. Would definitely come back in a heartbeat!

The house is conveniently located near Uvita so easy to get to the beach, shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is also close to the highway so itâs convenient but noisy from traffic from time to time. The house is nice and the view of the fields below and the it was nice to hear the ocean in the distance.

The villa in Uvita is modern, beautifully designed and offers spectacular sunsets directly from the pool â pure nature including many birds! Positive: When our coffee machine was defective, it was replaced within just 4 hours â a top service! The bedrooms are well sealed so you have your peace and quiet there (just a few nice geckos). What you should know: The house is very close to nature due to the open glass front. However, this also means that many insects (including giant grasshoppers) land in the living room. We had to wipe every day, as there were already many small insects on the floor upon arrival. Criticism: Communication was rather reactive â we had to request the check-in information ourselves and the reception on site was rather distant. Also, the fact that the pool service was unannounced twice in the garden disturbed our privacy somewhat. For the high price, we would have liked a little more proactivity and attention to detail here.
Casa Bella Mia is a beautiful property. The place was more than spacious for our party of 5. The location is great! We were able to get things we needed at the BM market less than 5 minutes away, had regular coffee and pastry runs to the Bakery and several great meals at area restaurants. As a home base, we were able to enjoy various excursions and tours in the surrounding area. Coming back to the beautiful outdoor space and pool was the best part. We had a few issues and questions during our stay that were mostly resolved and the co-host Josue was responsive. Thanks for having us!
Beautiful home in the Uvita area with an amazing pool and magical view. Beautiful furnishings throughout the home with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. We spent hours in the pool each day. Close proximity to restaurants, markets and activities.
Casa Bella Mia was the perfect place for our family of 6 to spend our vacation. The outdoor area was much more spacious than it appeared in the photos, and although we didn't do a lot of cooking, it was nice to have such a large kitchen for coffee and breakfast in the morning. The pool was a nice place to cool off after spending our mornings hiking or at the beach. We really enjoyed identifying all of the birds around the property. It felt like we were in a jungle. All in all, a great stay. We would definitely return.
Great property, matched the photos and the description. Peaceful, private, great amenities. Host was very responsive in resolving issues that came up during the stay promptly.
The house was just perfect! We did activities every morning and then returned to relax by the pool. We spent hours floating on our raft and swinging on the swing while enjoying the view! The swing is amazing! The outside is perfect rain or shine. The inside is absolutely stunning too but we spent most of our time by the pool!

The place was truly a pristine and magical. We had a wonderful stay - the home was beautiful - as good as the pictures - and full of wildlife sightings and sounds all around. We had a rental car so it was easy to pop over to Uvita and other beaches and towns close by, and then come home to the perfect place to cook dinners and relax. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a Costa Rican oasis!

An absolutely fantastic stay! The house is just like the pictures â if not more beautiful. Very luxurious, furnished with a lot of love for detail, and we felt completely comfortable from the first moment. The view is simply stunning, especially from the swing above the pool â definitely a highlight of our stay! Communication was super fast, friendly and very helpful. The host took excellent care of us and even organized an unforgettable boat trip for us. We would come back anytime â absolutely recommended!
