We stayed here at the end of May and were pleasantly surprised by how minimal the seaweed was. The house is beautiful, just steps from a sandy beach with clear water that’s great for snorkeling and spotting fish. The beds were comfortable, and having air conditioning in the bedrooms plus a washer and dryer made our stay even more convenient. One thing to keep in mind is that transportation is helpful, as there aren’t many restaurants or attractions within walking distance aside from Laguna Beach nearby. We had no issues with noise, and bugs were minimal. We only noticed a few tiny ants in the kitchen when sweet drinks or food were left out, but keeping countertops clean solved the issue. The neighboring resort guests often walked along the beach near the property, which gave us the chance to meet people from around the world. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and made both check-in and check-out very easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the house and the beach access. It was exactly what we had wanted for a nice relaxing vacation. That being said, either prepare to Uber everywhere or rent a car as there is not really much within walking distance. Nearly every single hotel/restaurant within the immediate vicinity is at an all inclusive hotel which we do not have access to. This may have been my fault as I did not do enough research into the surrounding areas, but it was not really listed in the description. Additionally, the wifi was not great. It turned off multiple times during our trip requiring a hard reset, and it doesn't extend into the patio outside. Even the downstairs area was a little spotty at times too which should not be the case given the size of the house.

Location, location, location! The home is beautiful, spacious, clean, & comfortable, on the beach. perfect spot for observing the sunrise! I wish we could give more than 5 stars! The bedrooms are spacious. The master bedroom shower pressure is fantastic. To get hot water in the master bathroom shower you must position the handle in the the "cold" direction. Walking distance to many beach amenities, marinas, and a 20 minute walk to the mall. RB

I had an incredible stay at this beachside house in Cancun! The property was absolutely stunning spacious, beautifully decorated, and well maintained. The house had everything we needed, including comfy bedrooms with ocean views. The highlight for me was definitely the direct access to the beach. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the sunrise from the patio was an experience I’ll never forget! Gianella was amazing. She was so welcoming and made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. She was always available if we needed anything. It truly felt like a home away from home. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot right by the beach this is the place to stay. I would love to stay here again!

I just returned from a family trip to Cancun and want to express my deepest thanks to Gianella. She’s warm, caring, and full of life experience meeting her felt like talking to my mother-in-law. The home is clearly her pride, lovingly maintained and full of heart. She went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The location is unbeatable just steps from the beach, with sunrise views from the bedroom and magical sunsets from the balcony. The water was clear, clean, with little seaweed better than any beach I’ve visited. The house is spacious, well-equipped, and naturally breezy, with A/C upstairs if needed. Though it’s an older home, it offers a rare connection to nature and peace that’s truly priceless. I felt strangely at home, as if I’d been there before. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Cancun this place is a gem. Thank you, Gianella, your kindness and attention to detail left a lasting impression.

We absolutely loved everything about this charming house! It is directly on the beach which was such a luxury. Walk off the patio onto the beach with the ocean right there. The pictures do not deceive! This property is in the hotel zone and we felt very safe throughout our time there. We are a family of four and this property perfectly fit the bill. Gianella is a fantastic host and clearly has a lot of love for the property and a lot of caring for the guests who stay there. 100% recommend!

Gianella’s place was everything we wished for. The views are spectacular.. We travel here for my 44th birthday and I’ve couldn’t have asked for a better gift than to have our own paradise. The pictures don’t do its justice. Everything was excellent 10 out of 10. We are looking forward to coming back soon.

We were warmly welcomed and attended to at all times. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was exceptional at all times, and the beach was extraordinary. The area is very safe and peaceful. There’s a bus stop close to the house, with buses passing by frequently—public transportation is excellent. Also nearby is the dock that can take you to Isla Mujeres, another beautiful beach. There are also small markets and places to eat close to the house. I highly recommend this home and definitely plan to return.

Gianella's home is beautiful, spacious, safe, artistic (incredible paintings), and inspiring. The beds are comfortable beyond our expectation. The waves lull you to sleep at night. All bedrooms are on the second floor, all have AC. The master oceanfront room (green bedding) has it's own walk-in bathroom and shower, and an additional sink and area for luggage and storage. The second king size oceanfront room (mosquito net and wooden bed posts) shares a bathroom with the quaint spacious library with the double and twin beds. All rooms upstairs stay cool with the AC. Downstairs gets warm, but the ocean wind helps. There were ample beach chairs and umbrella, as well as beach mats to lie on, and the private beach and gentle waves with perfect turquoise water was like a dream. Highly, highly recommend. Gianella was flexible with us as we had elderly family members, and a later departing flight, very kind, good energy. Safe, gated neighbourhood. Alarm system.

Great house in an amazing location! The house was clean and extremely comfortable. We loved being right on the beach and had a wonderful stay.

Gianella was a fantastic host. We were able to do an earlier check-in where she met us at the home and gave us a quick walk-through. She was able to answer questions about the area and was very friendly and helpful. The home was everything we expected and more. The bedrooms were fantastic with an amazing view. The beds were very comfortable. The house is amply supplied with beach chairs, and an umbrella. There were also beach towels supplied. The beach was fantastic. The water entry was gradual. We will definitely be back!

This was an extremely beautiful place in a beautiful location. The place is in the center of it all and easy to get to anywhere in town. The place is in the center of it all but yet you’ll feel like you’re in a private surrounding. The house is beautiful with everything you would need to have a great experience. Our stay January 10-25/25 was lovely. While the weather did not cooperate the views and home location certainly did. The home is well loved and in a beautiful location.

Excellent home and perfect location. Home is located on a private street with gated security 24 hours. Next to Riu Caribbean. Quite private beach although a few people will use the beach. Walkable to a small store at the Riu Caribe to get snacks/liquor. Reel Inn across the street which has a coffee shop and cafe. Bus stop out front. Easy to catch an Uber. Amazing place we hope to use again!

Beautiful location, right on a secluded beach. It was wonderful waking up to that view every morning. We used Uber to get around regularly (restaurants, grocery, shops). Gianella is very responsive and helpful. It was a great stay!

We have stayed here in the past and it is always a good time. Super relaxing and the beach is at your back door.

This property is in a perfect location right on the water, offering stunning views. The addition of beach chairs and activities like boogie boards and floaties is a great bonus. The house features three bedrooms, each equipped with a mini-split air conditioner, which was especially helpful at night. While there is no central air conditioning, it isn’t needed because the bottom floor has doors that can be left open to enjoy the refreshing breeze. Gianella is very responsive, helpful, and kind. This house is ideal for families and feels safe, thanks to the security booth at the entrance. I also enjoyed being able to take a private shuttle to the house, and the ability to take Ubers without having taxis sitting outside waiting such as with the nearby hotels. I would def stay again.

I had an amazing time at this Airbnb during my bachelorette trip! The home was beautifully decorated with an authentic Mexican vibe, and every corner was picture-perfect—perfect for capturing all those special memories. Having the beach right in the backyard was amazing!! The space was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to make guests feel right at home. The only downside was that the internet didn’t work during our stay, but honestly, being surrounded by such beauty made it easy to disconnect. I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a true getaway in Cancun. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and celebration!

Everything was as expected. Really great location. We would definitely stay here again. The host is super helpful but not intrusive which is nice. As good as it get for the money paid. We loved it.

We had a great stay here. Wonderful to be steps from the beach. We love snorkeling and this beach did not disappoint. Our favorite snorkel spot was over by the dilapidated pier/dock. Tons of fish. We also saw a small octopus and several rays throughout the week. The water was super calm and so clear. There’s a resort next door with an ATM that we used to get pesos. We took an Uber to Costco for groceries. The beds were comfortable and the house fit our family of six perfectly. There’s a Mayan museum at the south end of the hotel zone that is a hidden gem if you like history. There are ruins there in the garden that were really fun to see. Bring mosquito repellent though. This museum (and especially the garden walk) was a highlight for us.

This place was gorgeous and the host was wonderful. We loved the fact that the kitchen open right out to the beach we loved sitting there and enjoying our meals. Only two draw backs we would note are that the home sets next to a resort as listed so you get a lot of resort noise (ie Loud music) early in morning and late into the evening. The other was that the home has no air conditioning except the bedrooms. Definitely something to consider if renting in the heat of the summer. Other than that I would describe as paradise on the beach. We will definitely be going back.

Gianella greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. The security guard was friendly and remembered us after the first day. the house was comfortable and the views were unbeatable. It was so nice to walk outside and step right onto the beach.

We enjoyed every second of Gianella’s home. This is an absolute gem in the hotel zone located on a private beach. The house was roomy and accommodated our 6 people with zero issues. Outside, the patio and beach were where we spent all of our time. It’s truly breath taking. Gianella as a host was responsive, flexible, and very friendly. We felt like we could reach out to her at any time and we’d get an answer within an hour. 10/10 recommend for any group to enjoy their own private beach and spacious home. Tips: - You can call an Uber at any time to the security gate to get anywhere. - Book excursions through the Riu next door. Online gets confusing. - Eat at Krudo Raw Bar and Grill which is within walking distance. Thank you, Gianella!

Awesome place

Ginaellas beach home was amazing! you are feet away from the ocean! The home is decorated Mexican style , which we loved. Ginaella greeted us and was responsive. The bedrooms have AC which was nice after a long hot day. We would come back again!

Excellent place to stay in Cancun. The beach is basically the back yard, and the location is in the Cancun's Hotel Zone, so it is close to everything you would like to do. The host, Gianella, was very helpful and responsive.

The best decision to stay in Cancun for the family atmosphere. A beautiful house, by the sea!!!! You can get out as much as you like and you have the ocean. This is very nice place for vacation. We really enjoyed. We can see beautiful sunrise and sunset at home, walk to the beach in a minute. We saved the information and will come back in the future vacation.

I felt like I was in heaven! Being so close to the beach was exactly what I needed. Watched the sunrise every morning from the patio. Moments when it felt like I was on my own private island. House is well equipped, we cooked all of our meals there (I enjoy cooking and getting groceries delivered was easy). Ocean breeze kept things fresh and air conditioning worked wonders when it was hot. Getting around on foot, scooter, bus and uber easy. This was absolutely my favorite beach holiday. We travelled with a group ranging in age from 15 to 83.

A beautiful and relaxing retreat just steps from the white sand beach and Caribbean Sea. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Fell asleep to the souds of waves. Short Uber ride to outstanding restaurants and water activities. The family loved it and didn't want to leave.

I can't recommend Gianella's place enough. It's a small slice of heaven nestled in the heart of Cancun. You're only steps from the beach, restaurants and night life, but have everything you need for a DIY vacation. Our 8 year old twins had a blast! Beautiful home! Quiet and safe, felt no need to lock the doors. Gated community with friendly security and neighbours. Super quiet though and feels like you’re the only one on the street. Amazing beach with pristine clear water. You are literally on the beach . Gianella was amazing, communicative and just all around love human. Short ride to town via Ubers, which arrive within minutes, like wise for the heart of hotel district. Although in the hotel district, it does not feel like it and quick hop to hang with the locals if that’s more your thing! Can’t wait to go back, this place is the real deal!!

I love the beach view

I spent 9 days with my family in this beautiful house by the sea. The house is not new, but it is very well maintained and it reflects the charm of Mexico. The huge double bed in my bedroom with sea view was the best I've ever slept at, like a big cloud where I spent heavenly nights. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need, the water dispenser and the large fridge. The location is simply fantastic, with the white sand beach in front of the door, you can't live closer to the sea. It's very quiet, you don't hear cars, just the sound of the waves. The property is located in a small settlement designed to protect against unwelcome guests with barriers and a doorman, which gives a good sense of security. We arrived late around midnight and the key was stored with the doorman, which we didn't check right away because the automatic translation caused confusion.

The house has all the amenities you need for a walk, great location, the beach about 10 steps away from the pergola of the house! I recommend it!

Incredible beach house near the airport and near downtown hotel zone in Cancun. Wake up every morning to the sound of the waves with panoramic ocean views right out your bedroom window. Comfortable beds, nice patio in the back and there’s a gate that walks out right to the sand! I would definitely go back.

The place IS A DREAM. Very exclusive. That almost private beach. The beauty of the house. It has a soul, it's warm. Super complete. Everything is spotless. All seating accessories in the beach or terrace. The scenery. We were visited by birds of all kinds. The colors of the sea and the vegetation. I would certainly go back to this spot. At hand with everything. Restorant, supermarket, other beaches, shopping. Aquatic activities. We had a great time. Lots of PEACE AND SECURITY.

Excellent host and good location with beach

The house and location are amazing. The beach is a few steps from the house. A quiet and almost private beach that makes the experience in the house even better. I would definitely come back :)

The house was easy to get to and in a very safe area behind security. We were greeted my Gianella and given a walkthrough. She was very kind and extremely respectful. The Airbnb was perfect for our small family of 5. Everyone had their own bed and their own space in the house. Very easy access to the private beach. We were able to allow our small children to run around freely in and out of the ocean. Just west of the beach area, there are tons of small fish (2-12 inches) that we enjoyed watching while snorkeling. The Airbnb is a short Uber ride away from a bunch of restaurants and grocery stores. We absolutely loved it and will return.

Me and my family loved this place. We enjoyed the beachfront with beautiful views , So peaceful and most importantly very safe and private. I will definitely book this house in the future again.

Do not pass this place up!!! It’s right on the water, the sunrise is amazing! There were 3 of us and it had quite a bit of room for us to not feel on top of each other. Gianella was an outstanding host! Customs had us longer than expected and she called to make sure we were alright. She ensured our experience was top notch and it was. From the beautiful patio to the overall serenity that you could feel in the area, this is a must have location! Book now!!!

Too bad the beach section for boats is not locked. As a result, these anchor directly in the bay and ring the entire stretch of beach with their loud music.

This house is amazing. It was located on the best beach in the area. Free of tourists and any foot traffic. The beach was clean and secluded and had the best water (free of rocks). The house had filtered water and a great living and dining space. The rooms were beautiful and had great AC. Gianella was very responsive and helpful. We couldn’t have had a better stay. Location was great for the bus and getting downtown or more into the hotel zone. Very safe neighborhood and good security. Highly recommend!

The house is beautiful, the semi private beach is like a swimming pool, breakfast with sunrises, sleeping with the sound of waves, very inviting home. you can rent parasailing,kayaks,jet sky, etc next door. We loved our stay here. It feels like you have your own private beach to swim in (gorgeous color, calm waters), the house is lovely, the beds are comfy and you can hear the ocean at night. Close to lots of food and activities (taxis were tricky for us to track down, but the buses on the main drag were really convenient and inexpensive to use). Book and enjoy your trip!!!

Great villa! Right next to the beach! You can easily go anywhere with public transportation for only a few pesos. I highly recommend! We definitely want to come back at some point :) !

It's a wonderful home on a beautiful beach. Lovely setup with doors that open onto a spacious and private patio three steps down to white sand beach. Constant thrill of watching pelicans, Magnificent Frigatebirds, and boats. The sunken living room with windows to set the correct breeze control was a perfect gathering spot as was the patio. The master and another bedroom overlook the beach and we slept every night ... in December with windows wide open hearing the sea and breeze from the Gulf. It was an honor to live in Gianella's home for a week.
