Private house with great amenities. Felt safe with proper security in place. Clean and the host was proactive in communicating with us. Short walk to the beach (playa grande) and to the local restaurants (Pots and Bowls was a fan favorite).

Great host that has many insights of the area. Very accommodating and a pleasure to rent from. Look forward to coming back.

Great house - clean, beautiful, spacious and well stocked with all the necessities. The beds were comfortable and it was really convenient to have 3 washrooms. Very close walk to the beach and some restaurants, short drive to markets and grocery stores. Marina and Ghyslain were very friendly and responsive. We loved the design of the house with all the windows and the house centred around the pool and yard. We would definitely recommend this house. It’s one of the best airbnb’s we’ve stayed at.

We had an incredible stay at Villa Solana! The house was even better than the pictures showed and was very well-appointed. Marina and Ghislain were very communicative and provided very helpful information about the area and the house. We were also connected to a free local concierge for questions on the area and activities which came in very helpful! The house was perfectly situated for a short walk to beautiful sunsets and some great local restaurants. Playa Grande and Villa Solana were the perfect place to relax but also an easy drive to Playa Conchal which we went to twice. We hope to come back in the future and would absolutely book Villa Solana again 😊🌴

Our hosts Marina and Ghislain were extremely nice and responsive. They gave us some great tips. The house was incredibly well located near Playa Grande beach. The space is very well divided, welcoming, and carefully decorated, and what can I say about the outside, the layout, and the pool? Wow, just wow!! Our stay was absolutely incredible! Marina was an outstanding host—always quick to respond, friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. The house was beautiful, spotless, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and the excellent level of cleanliness made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. They even welcomed us with fresh fruit at check-in, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. The pool area was amazing, the entire property was impeccably maintained, and the location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach. Everything exceeded our expectations. My family of four recently stayed at Marina’s place for 5 nights. It was perfect! We had plenty of space. It was super cute, clean and included all the amenities we needed. Loved the pool! Walkable to the beach and a few restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "Villa Ocean and I." Our family of four had plenty of room to spread out but also made good use of the common areas, especially outdoors. The home is exactly as described in the listing. This was one of the most well-stocked rentals we've experienced. Everything we needed-- for the beach, for cooking, for comfort in the home-- was provided. The area is very walkable, not only to Playa Grande but also to several local restaurants. Marina and Ghyslaine were very proactive about communicating with us and keeping us apprised of any updates. Truly a wonderful time!

Marina’s place in Playa Grande is a fantastic option and we cannot recommend it enough. The location is amazing and you have many shops and restaurants a short walk or drive away. The beach is only a 5-10 minute walk from the property and has plenty of room to explore. The house comes with all the beach essentials, including chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and toys for the kids. It’s a great base location to explore other areas in Guanacaste, including other beaches, Diamante Eco park, Tamarindo, and others. The hosts were one of the best we’ve ever had…they even put in some extra safety features at the house for our little kids. We loved this spot and can’t wait to get back!

The house was cozy and very accommodating for my wife and two large teenage children. The check-in was easy. The host was very very quick to respond and gave us great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. We encountered a few issues but the host took care of them immediately. The home was very peaceful. We had a mobile chef come to the house and prepare a gourmet dinner and the kitchen had everything the chefs needed. The pool was relaxing and set at a very good temperature relative to the climate. All in all, we had a great time.

We had an amazing stay! We will definitely be coming back! The hosts went above and beyond to help us get settled in and were proactive in issues with the AC. We really enjoyed staying here. Such a peaceful place. Loved seeing and hearing the monkeys and listening to the rain while sitting under the covered patio while sitting in the hammocks. we loved our stay in Playa Grande. The house is just as pictured, clean, awesome pool, on a quiet road, and walking distance to the beach and good restaurants. We had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable too, an added bonus. Marina was also very responsive and helpful. We hope to visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was so nice to have 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms, laundry and the pool area is very nice. Pool is not hot but not cold either! Just perfect. Marina was very responsive to any questions and provided a lot of information about places to eat, etc. I recommend her place without any hesitation!
