Gerardo is an excellent host. He suggested restaurants & places to shop. The BEST place to do your souvenir shopping, however, is his shop. He will ship your things home & he is an amazing artist. The yard at his house has beautiful flowers & so many different birds. We would highly recommend & we will be back!

This place is amazing, it's in a very beautiful, quiet, safe area. The cabin is very nice, cozy and comfortable! Gerardo his host is extremely friendly and had excellent attention to us. We felt very comfortable during our stay. Also Gerardo lives right away and has his art gallery with some incredible works you can enjoy! We would definitely stay at this place again!!

Gerardo's wooden house is great if you like it a little quieter. It is right on the road that leads to the waterfall, in the neighborhood there are also a few but good eateries. Without a car, it is possible to stay there if you are happy to walk. I highly recommend the place. Gerardo is a very nice host

The listing matches its description with the added calm. Gerardo is a friendly, warm and discreet host. Her artist's studio is next to the chalet.

Don Gerardo is a wonderful host, the cabin was nice and the place was quiet, personally I only like the individual parking lot more so as not to have to load things and that the keys are in the lock box because I like the privacy and autonomy more, also personally I consider that they could improve the furniture and the cleanliness of the place, but nevertheless we had a good time in this house. Thank you!

Everything was great! A beautiful apartment, even furnished by Gerardo, with beautiful pictures and lots of wood.

Gerardo was a great host. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly. Location is 10 minutes out from the city but it’s worth being in nature. I thought we might be getting catfished due to the price we paid but the pictures didn’t lie. Please book with Gerardo if you end up staying in La Fortuna!

The place is spectacular, matches the description and photos perfectly. It is located very close to the center of fortune but at the same time away to generate tranquility. The attention provided is very attentive, helpful, respectful, friendly. I really recommend it

Gerardo’s place was perfect for us. He was quick to respond to messages and a very nice host. The place was clean and the air conditioning was a great asset. we loved the rustic feeling and listening to nature. We would love to stay here again in the future! Thank you Gerardo
