This place was amazing! The house itself was immaculate and matched the pictures perfectly. In fact, the pictures don't do it justice. The property is tucked in a small community off the main road and steps away from the beach. You'll have access to a fenced private backyard, and you walk through it to get to the beach. You have plenty of access to open-air space, with the option to open up the master bedroom. No need to bring an alarm, the howler monkeys will start to howl at sunrise ( around 5am). Its super cool to listen to. As you sip on your coffee in the morning or drink towards the end of the day, gaze to the tree tops and you'll spot monkeys, sloths and macaws right in the back yard. This place does not dissappoint. 5 Stars!

Great place and unique experience! You have a small, private part of the jungle only for yourself. The house is very well equipped and despite the fact that it is located in an isolated area everywhere is close especially to grocery shops and empanadas stands :) We definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely wonderful stay! Host was responsive. The beach access is perfect. The mid week cleaning on longer stays was a welcomed treat.

This is a great house in a great location. Howler monkeys, green macaws, and toucans all common from the deck. The walk to the beach is super short and well maintained. You can see water from the second story. The craftsmanship around the house feels very European and sound. If you’re looking for a Costa Rican jungle house on the beach, this is it. Just know the house is designed to be living half inside and half outside, so if you’re into that this is your place. Also there were surf boards, bogie boards, and sand toys which was a huge bonus. Lots of keys to navigate with the doors and gates, but it’s all doable. Would stay here again.

Great stay in this beautiful Caribbean house. Setting and house perfectly adapted for children. The beach access is great, the macaw nest is a marvel every day and the welcome of howler monkeys and spiders is a bonus ❤️ can't wait to come back

A great villa in a dream location. Very comfortable and well appointed. Great views from the master bedroom and thanks to the large glazed sliding doors, it is optionally possible to sleep and wake up coolly air-conditioned or only separated by the mosquito net from nature - in any case with a splendid view of palm trees, beach and sea and the tremendous soundscape of surf and howler monkeys. The spacious kitchen can be easily opened to the covered dining and living area. On the huge property we could observe macaws, toucans, monkeys, raccoons, agoutis and a sloth. The beach is great and beautifully secluded in this area. Right in front of the house you should only swim with caution (currents). However, you can take a beautiful walk and quickly reach safe areas for swimming in both directions. The house is very well maintained. Easy communication and if necessary we were helped very quickly. I highly recommend the house

The place is exactly described. Beachfront. Tucked away so you feel like you’re not around a lot of people but yet close to everything you need to drive to or even walk to. Lots of nature, all around the proper as well, which is peaceful.

Michael's house is a dream home. Its location makes it something very special. It has direct access to the beach (Playa Grande de Manzanillo), which feels like a private beach and where you can even surf. The house has bodyboards and surfboards, and two macaws live in a tree on the property. Its style is very high level. I want to emphasize the personalized attention of the oasis team and especially Guillermo, who showed real concern for everything to be perfect during our stay. A truly comprehensive service. It was a luxury and we would definitely come back. Thank you very much.

We were very excited about the place. It was a very warm welcome, the house was very tastefully decorated and well equipped. Everything was very well thought out and very clean. Access to the sea was very easy. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay! The place was exactly as described. Everything was great - listening to the sounds (ocean and wildlife), lush landscaping, beach access, and the place itself. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need and more (even a hand mixer) Walkable to a nearby restaurant across the street and a few more in Manzanilla which is a little further walk (only do during daytime hours only). Getting around is easy with Uber and the Tuk tuks. I’d suggest renting car, scooter or atv at least for a couple days to give you more freedom to check out different places along the side of the roads and some of the side roads. Michael and Utopia Caribe were excellent. Fridge wasn’t working and they had it replaced the same day! We screwed up our flight reservation back to SJO and they secured us a driver the same day!
