We loved our stay at Darren's and would have stayed longer if we could. The house is new, modern and clean and the pool is lovely, with a great view of the sunsets. The privacy of the expansive and well kept landscaping was appreciated. The ridge top breezes are nice for cooling and we did not experience biting insects at the house. The house consists of two entirely self contained levels, each with their own kitchen. My family prefers to make meals at home, and we found the kitchen a bit small, but there was certainly enough amenities to cook good meals. Decent groceries can be found in Mariato only 20 minutes away, or certainly anything you would want in Santiago. We enjoyed all that Torio offers, with just enough tourist services (e.g. surf board rentals from Mariato Adventures, fishing with Scot King etc.) and good restaurants to enjoy the area, but not at all overloaded with tourists. Co-host Elodie was friendly, responsive and helpful. Overall, we highly recommend!

Darren’s house has a stunning location on a hillside with views of the ocean and surrounding countryside from the terraces and pool. There are plenty of areas to sit and talk/eat, lounge or swing in a hammock. Torio is a couple of minutes drive away. Within 30 minutes you can get to any number of beautiful coves and beaches as well as lovely villages and restaurants. We only stayed in the area for three nights, but wish we had stayed longer. Elodie, the property manager, was super responsive and incredibly helpful with all of the questions we had about the house and guidance for the area.

This was a great place. We really liked the pool and the house was quite comfortable. Loved everything! We will be back!

We had a wonderful time at this house. Very comfortable, fully equipped, and with a great terrace to spend the afternoon grilling with a view. The sunsets are magical, and everything you need is well considered by the hosts. We will definitely return.

nice house in Torio, excellent pool, full kitchen.

Waking up every morning to the incredible sea and mountain view from the Airbnb was such a blessing! The house offers you everything that you need to enjoy your stay… BBQ, hammocks, coffee machines, WiFi , etc. and of course the pool which we loved😍 The communicating with the host was very easy - alway attentive, quick replies and a very nice! Can only recommend the place and the area if you’re looking for great surf, beautiful views, nature and a comfortable place to stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Darren's place. The view is priceless with beautiful sunsets and the infinity pool is all you need for an ultimate relaxation. The house was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. I personally dig the fact that there is no TV in the house because it forces you to connect with nature and enjoy the area that has so much to offer. The kitchen was well equipped for quick meals and the grill was a plus. We would definitely stay at this house again when we visit the area.

We had a great stay at ​D​arren's place. It is a beautiful place, immaculately clean​, and in a ​p​erfect location​ near the beach, fishing spots, if you want to relax by the pool and enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean and surroundings. I would book again. ​Elodie and Dareen were great at communicating with us and ​quick to respond to text messages​. ​Highly recommended when visiting Torio!

Traveling with small children can be difficult, but not at this Torio home. After a long day of adventure, it was so wonderful to come home and have the kids play in the pool before bed. The kitchen has much of what is needed and the space was perfect for playing. There is a stray dog that appears for every meal and she was so sweet and warm. It felt like our dog for the stay.
