The house is very nice and functional. Having a bathroom in every bedroom is great. The kitchen is nice and the dining area is fine. The patio and pool are very nice and comfortable. Guillermo responds within an hour to any query, and he quickly took care of anything that needed attention. The welcome guide to the home provides much valuable information about the area. The house is in a “gated” community a couple kilometers off a highway. The staff were always available, and were nice and friendly. The road from the highway to the house is unpaved and rough. This requires driving slowly, which seems to be accounted for in the times to local points of interest in the welcome guide. Two people in our party can get motion sickness, and this made trips in and out unpleasant. A taxi drove slower than walking on the road, and one InDrive driver refused to come to the house when he reached the road. This is a secondary issue for sure, but it would have been good to know.

Thank you … thank you, and thank you again! Wonderful host. Pool? Heated and cleaned regularly! No one will want for anything at this villa. I expected European standards, and they exceeded my expectations. It was simply wonderful! Always fresh, cold water and ice straight from the fridge, close to shops, a great neighborhood with great people who look after it! Close to cenotes and nature! A few miles by car to Tulum. I'll definitely be back here next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in the Tulum area. We were a large family group of 11, including children, and the place was perfect for us. The house was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped, which made our stay easy and enjoyable. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The property was clean, well maintained, and exactly as described. The kids really enjoyed the space, and as adults we appreciated the comfort and the calm atmosphere. The location was convenient for getting around Tulum while still feeling private and relaxed. Communication with the host was excellent, always responsive and helpful. We truly recommend this place for large families or groups traveling with children. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time here with a group of 5 adults and 2 kids. A very pretty and peaceful location that is a bit of a drive, but much better than being in the center of Tulum. We loved the living room for hanging out.

We had a fantastic day in Villa Tovar. The neighborhood is quiet and secluded up a dirt road that is easy to navigate. It was close to many sites and not far from downtown. It was nice to be in the quiet and have lots of room. Guillermo was very responsive and always helped us out when we needed something. I hope to come back and stay again!

The house is very nice, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped and everything worked very well, the A/C was perfect, hot water without problems, many towels available and also the hosts are very good, always attentive and kind, they respond very quickly to any questions. Just be aware that the area is far from Tulum, about 15-20 minutes, and there is nothing around, but the area is very beautiful.

This home was a dream, there was plenty of space for everyone, beautiful decorations and a gorgeous pool. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

Just want to say place was great , private and really peaceful easy to get to the house 20 min away from Tulum centro so if I need it anything it wasn’t to bad also they were always responsive and helpful in the messages always on time and fast getting back to me thank so much I definitely look forward to renting this place again.

Villa Tovar was a beautifully structured villa tucked away into the beauty of Tulum. My girlfriends and I celebrated my birthday and had a blast in the villa. From the front gate to the pool, the villa was beyond clean, decorated with a jungle chic feel with plenty of photo ops.. our favorite part was the impeccable sound system!! Everyone LOVED IT!! We hired a chef that and he was also impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was! We will definitely return! The host even can with an unexpected birthday surprise.
