Alex was a great cost and has an amazing place! Super quiet and plenty of privacy, super clean and great facilities but still walking distance to everything. I will definitely be coming back

It’s a charming spot right in the heart of Santa Teresa, and somehow - even with the construction site just across the fence - it hasn’t lost its magic. The place is very clean, well-equipped, and surrounded by huge trees and lush leaves, with the sounds of howler monkeys echoing through every day. Two adorable cats like to stop by the apartment - super friendly and well cared for, they won’t try to steal your food, but they’ll happily curl up next to you on the terrace and just chill with you, if you’re up for it. We loved it. Thanks for having us!

Everything was very nice. I would recommend putting a TV in the corner room on a stand; that would be perfect. In the kitchen, it is very unlikely that it will be used. The location is very good, despite the construction workers nearby. Very nice and clean, and Alex is a good host. We would definitely stay here again!

This place is beautiful and perfectly centered to TONS in Santa Teresa. Something I would note. AC is in the bedroom and somewhat can get into the bathroom. The kitchen does not have any AC. So I would keep that in mind while booking the summer months, by mid day it can get very hot in there. The pool is fantastic for a lil slice of cooling heaven and not having to be out in the sun after being down to the beach. We named the visiting cat Chester and he enjoyed that! I would absolutely stay again!

The apartment is private but located very easy walking distance to lots of places to eat and drink (recommended by Matias) and to the beach. It’s pristine and well designed, and has effective air conditioning and good amenities. The small pool is a huge asset in the hot weather. There was a bit of quiet building work happening next door but it didn’t impact our stay at all. Matias was very helpful and responsive and gave great recommendations. The town is chilled and cool surfing vibes though fairly busy as it was the same week as Spring Break. We loved it here and would stay in the same place if we came again.

We had an amazing time staying here. Very close/walkable to beach, restaurants and bars nearby. Very safe. We had a very friendly cat visit us every night for pets. There was lots of construction happening around the airbnb but if you are out during the day it won’t be much of a bother, but when we were spending time out at the dipping pool in the afternoon it was quite loud. Overall great stay and I would recommend this place to stay!!

The Waterfall House was amazing! Great location to beach and restaurants. Fairly private, even with the ongoing construction. We will be back for sure!

Stayed at the waterfall house for my 26th bday with a friend and it was in the best location so close to town! Super clean smelled great! And the best host I’ve had on Airbnb super helpful and responsive and gave so many recommendations!

We’ve been to Santa Teresa many times before and Matias’s home is in an excellent location. Right in the middle of the town yet back far enough off the main road for quiet nights. Instructions on how to get there, cleanliness of the place upon arrival and communication were all excellent. House was perfect for us as a couple and we didn’t use our rental car at all. We would stay again for sure.

We had an amazing weekend at the house. We loved that it had privacy and good ventilation. The location is excellent for visiting the beaches in the area and the different restaurants. Something we loved was that two kittens accompanied us all the time, they were friendly and affectionate. Although it was being built nearby, that was not a problem for us, because the noise is during the day and at night you have the calm and tranquility to rest. I would definitely come back!

The property was perfect as described, several restaurants within walking distance. There is currently some work going on in the back, so it's less intimate if you're thinking of enjoying the outdoors during the day. Also slight smell in the kitchen but with the window ventilation it greatly improved the experience. Recommended!

Our stay at this Airbnb in Santa Teresa was truly fantastic! The location was absolutely amazing, putting us right where we wanted to be to enjoy everything the area has to offer. The space itself was incredibly clean and comfortable, making it a perfect retreat after our daily adventures. We especially appreciated the air conditioning, which was a lifesaver after hot days spent hiking and exploring. The plunge pool was also a wonderful bonus, perfect for cooling off and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and felt completely at home. We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Santa Teresa!

This house exceeded my expectations in every way. The property and its surroundings were even more breathtaking than the photos—an absolute hidden gem. It was perfectly secluded and quiet, yet still located in one of the best spots in Santa Teresa and close to the main road. The easy checkin and simple layout of the house made me feel immediately at home. I did not want to leave and will be surprised if I do not book this rental again in the future.

We had an amazing stay at the Waterfall house! Walkable to everything on the main street and the beach, yet tucked back in a private setting. Very cool layout and everything was very clean. Matias set up an ATV rental for us which was the best way to explore the area. The plunge pool was the best after a day at the beach out in the sun. 10/10 experience and would stay here again.

We absolutely loved staying at the Waterfall house! It felt like our own private tree house, tucked away from the busy street of Santa Teresa. We enjoyed using the outdoor shower and cooling off in the soaking pool in the hot afternoons - an absolute must after coming back from the beach! The bedroom has a very comfortable bed, powerful A/C, and lots of shelves for keeping your items organized. Matias was an extremely responsive and kind host. We were so thankful to have him help us with an ATV rental, which was delivered right to the house for us. I would recommend using him if you’re planning to rent an ATV during your stay. We would definitely stay here again!

This place is stunning and looks exactly like the photos. It's well-built and beautifully decorated. Walking outside to the kitchen didn't bother us, and we loved the outside shower. The soaking pool was kept at a refreshing temperature, and we spent the hot afternoons cooling off there. The A/C blew cold at night when needed, and the bed was very comfortable. The waterfall home is tucked away from the busy streets of Santa Teresa and feels private and quiet! Matias is a 10/10 host. His responsiveness and friendly communication were the linchpins to our success with our stay. A couple of small things needed attention, all unexpected and out of Matias's control. However, they were all addressed immediately with helpful and friendly service. True hospitality was displayed! I would absolutely stay here again!

What an incredible stay in the jungle of Costa Rica. Matias’s place is clean, spacious and overall very comfortable. The best part of the house is the deck with the built in jacuzzi pool. Would definitely come back and stay here again!

Amazing!

Santa Theresa is an amazing spot, I only wish we had booked more time… The place is fantastic, clean and quiet (aside from the construction next door during the day, but that’s when you should be at the beach anyhow!). Great to wake up to roosters, howler monkeys and the sounds of the jungle!

Great location and Alexander was very responsive and helpful with coordinating transportation and ATV rental! The home was great, but lots of construction going on nearby, so not as private as we anticipated.

The waterfall house was an absolute dream! It was beautiful and surrounded by nature because the house faces a forested hill. The plunge pool was so refreshing. It is close to town but still feels private. A little bit of construction noise during the day but it wasn’t too loud. It was close enough to town but we decided to rent an ATV to get around easier. Matias (host) facilitated the rental and brought it right to the house. He was extremly helpful. The house is a perfect romantic retreat for a couple!

This house was the perfect getaway for our week in Santa Teresa. It’s tucked away with beautiful landscaping to give plenty of privacy. We enjoyed the short walk or drive to the beach and restaurants. We also loved the small pool to sit in during the afternoons. Overall, we were incredibly happy with this stay.

Highly recommended place to stay for a couple of days. The house is surrounded by the real nature, you would be able to see and hear different animals. The pool is awesome too! Host was very proactive and responsive. She gave us a lot of recommendations where to eat, go and rest. She also arranged an ATV for us. We had amazing time there! Only one thing to mention is that we checked in in the evening and we noticed that bed linens have some stains. In the morning we reached out to the host and she immediately changed it. Again, this is highlighting her responsiveness! Thanks for the stay!

Everything was absolutely amazing the house, natural scenery, the food, the people, the beach, the restaurants, just everything, almost everything is walking distance, even the host kept in contact with me the whole time before and after I arrived, one of my top favorite Airbnbs, I will be back to visit soon!!

We did a round trip in Costa Rica and this was definitely the best Airbnb we booked! It was so beautiful, clean and most importantly central. We have several monkeys watching from our pool. If we had any questions we were helped immediately, communication was easy and very great. We felt so comfortable and next time we are in Santa Teresa we will book this airbnb again:)

Amazing place! Beautiful house, equipped kitchen and a wonderful location. They were perfect days.

Alexander’s place (Waterfall House) was the highlight of our stay in Santa Teresa - peaceful, private, nicely decorated, clean, and very comfortable. Everything in the house was working well. The kitchen is very well equipped making us feel just like home. The place is tucked away in calmness and a hug of a beautifully lush green wood (we literally saw monkeys around minding their business). At the same time, the place is very well located with just a 2 minute-walk to the Santa Teresa main bustling road full of restaurants and bars and a short 5 minute-stroll to the beach. We also travelled with our dog, and the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating for our little furry friend :) The best things we liked were the spacious wooden porch for our morning yoga and breakfast, and of course (stating the obvious) the crystal clear small private pool to cool off after a day at the beach. All in all, this vacation rental is a gem!!!

Perfect spot in a perfect place!

This place was beautiful and peaceful. The beach and amazing restaurants were all walkable, although we did enjoy and ATV for a few days to explore other areas as well. The host was kind and communicative and the pool was a nice plus.

This is a new listing, I was cautious because of that but I stayed here for 4 days and the places matches the description. The place is a bit off the main avenida, butI I was provided very clear and helpful instructions via phone to find the place. The rental is brand new and the kitchen was well stocked. All amenities listed were available and worked as well. It is also a private house so you'll have the rental to yourselves. For the price I paid I would stay here again. Right near the heart of Santa Teresa with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend an ATV rental though.

We have been to Santa Teresa many times and we were very happy with the Waterfall house. Location is really good, you are very close to the Main Street that connects the town but still you find yourself in a quite and private place that is at the same time in the middle of nature. Very clever design on taking advantage of the surrounding hills! even the bedroom faces a waterfall that might be nice during the green season. Many locations require a 4x4 but is not the case of this house, and you can walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. Agustina has been a great host providing good recommendations and clear instructions. Also there are a couple of signs on the street to help you. Everything in the house works well but is worth mentioning how well equipped is the kitchen. If you are planning to cook there you will find everything you need and more. And of course you also have the plunge pool to complete a great Santa Teresa experience!

Such a lovely place! Very, very close to everything you need in Santa Teresa. The location itself is so open and you feel very connected to nature while still having a more comfortable and modern experience! The natural light in the space is very nourishing and the little pool is great for cooling off and hanging out! Will definitely stay here again!

Everything was great during our stay. The house is very nice, it has everything we needed in a very quiet place but close to everything. Agustina was very kind and concerned, communication flowed perfectly. 10/10
