Our family had a great time at Casa Emilia. The house itself is beautiful and very peaceful. We really enjoyed the pool area and afternoon naps on the loungers. The beds were very comfortable and there was lots of room for everyone to have personal space while still being together. The outdoor shower is something we’re already missing! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend to anyone looking to stay in Playa Pelada. Claudia was very responsive and helpful.

Fantastic home! It’s even better than the pictures with all the wood furnishings and textures, views of the ocean and outdoor shower. I loved staying here and I slept so well, beds are so comfortable. I felt right at home.

We loved our stay in Casa Emilia. Giulio and his team were very responsive and quick to address any issues. The house is absolutely stunning and perfect for two families with kids.

We booked Casa Emilia for the past weekend and it was a wonderful experience. It was our first time in Nosara and we absolutely loved the location. We were able to see a troop of howler monkeys pass by at close range and there are some wonderful local restaurants. Me and my kids surfed three of the days and otherwise very much enjoyed the pool at the house to cool off. The house had everything that we needed to stay for a family of four. There is no dishwasher which is probably the only thing I would have wished for. At one point the upstairs AC was on the fritz and there was somebody by close to immediately to fix it. The cohost Claudia was absolutely amazing with every question and request and recommendation. I would absolutely recommend this place and would love to return again.

We are in absolute awe of Giulio’s home, it exceeded our expectations. This is by far the most beautiful space we’ve stayed in. We traveled with another couple and each had a beautiful master bedroom and bathroom with our own private balcony overlooking Nosara. One of the bedrooms has a private, outdoor shower (my favorite part). We woke up every day and made coffee in the kitchen, did some remote work (WiFi worked great), took a swim in the clean pool, did a workout in the outdoor yoga studio, and walked or drove into town for brunch (Sunrise cafe was a favorite, ~15 min walk from Airbnb). There’s AC in every room, which was really nice. You do need a 4x4 to get to the property. You can rent a car or ATV. Giulio and his team were so friendly and communicative, we had such a great experience and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Beautiful house, within walking distance to Playa Pelada. Incredible views, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and inviting family hang outs between the pool kitchen/dining area, and living room! We hope to visit again!

Casa Emilia was very spacious and comfortable. Having the private bathrooms was a major plus not to mention a fully equipped kitchen. The pool was the perfect size and a great way to relax after a full day of activities from going to a beaches, not to mention a very walkable beach with black sand, which was stunning. Management; Claudia and Virginia were extremely helpful in meeting our needs. We also were given wonderful recommendations for places to eat and we had chef Maria come in and cook for us one evening. Casa Emilia warmed our hearts.

We absolutely loved the location. The house is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and the location is private. We highly recommend this place, but even more so the hosts who were welcoming and invaluable help. Our daughter had a health problem upon arrival, and they recommended a clinic to treat her. Result: 2 hours later, we had consulted a doctor, obtained a prescription, medication in hand and back home. We are extremely grateful for their help and warm hosting. Thanks again.
