What a peaceful location. The views were spectacular. The home was well appointed and the beds, so comfy!!

I cannot rave enough about this incredible place!!! the land, the view, the peace and quiet, the nature, and abundance of birds and butterflies all around, fruit trees, and the cutest dog Bella. The interior was spacious and had everything we needed and more. the family that takes care of the property are amazing, Henry even cooked me vegitarian dinners for a few nights so that I can have some quiet time being catered to while I relaxed. my favorite thing was waking up to the birds and drinking my coffee and doing yoga outside. Eddie was super amazing in taking care of all our needs and responding super quick. we loved this place so much we extended an extra week. would highly recommend and would definitely be coming back again.

PEACEFUL, INSANE view, and RELAXING porch for family time! We loved our stay! And we were surprised at how the home was twice as nice as we expected! It was the perfect home for family time, rocking on the porch, listening to birds, walking through the banana grove, cooking dinner, and getting great sleep! The beds were extra comfy and I took so many pictures of the view to try to remember it forever. The nights were a little warm and noisy with birds and barking, but we asked for a few fans and that helped add white noise. Henry, next door gave us bananas and fans and it was nice to know he was there if we had any issues. Be aware that the drive up to the house is straight up and pretty steep, so do not stop midway. Just push through and go. The specific directions from Eddie are important to follow as the directions from the listing will take you to the wrong location. Bring paper towels and laundry detergent - other than that, the place is fully stocked!! LOVED this Airbnb!

Stayed at Eddie's mountain cabin over Christmas with my family. The cabin is very cozy, has an incredible view, well stocked kitchen (made a turkey dinner and had all the utensils needed), paved drive up to the cabin and comfortable bedrooms. I look forward to a return visit!

Everything about our stay was great! Eddie as the host, and Henry (and Rosie and Sofia) the on-site caretaker exceeded all expectations. The house is very clean, well maintained and well equipped. We really appreciated the attention to even the smallest of details like providing shampoo/conditioner/body wash/soap, beach towels, flashlight. Any small concerns were addressed immediately, going above and beyond. All that said, personally, our favorite part of the property is the beautiful, lovable, “self-appointed guard dog,” Bella. We hope to return soon!

Eddie’s place is a real gem. Incredible privacy and views, well appointed and comfortable home. The kitchen comes very well equipped and the beds are comfortable. Small details make his place extra wonderful. High quality linens, blankets, beautifully manicured garden and lawn. Henry, the groundskeeper is lovely. My children had so much fun playing hide and seek on the generous property and I loved waking up before sunrise, sitting on the deck and listening to a million birds beautifully singing through day break. My kids said they loved the home and want to come back!!

The grounds are perfectly manicured and the house well maintained. Very comfortable with a beautiful view. A definite repeat.

Probably our best Air B& B selection in Costa Rica

This is a lovely peaceful, comfortable house in the mountains. The facilities are good, kitchen well-equipped. Henry on hand with local knowledge is a bonus and Bella was very sweet. Kitchen water pressure a little low and electricity dropped off when doing laundry, but patience wasn't difficult in such a beautiful place. The house is large and feels airy, pleasantly warm in the day and cool at night, air con not required. 4 x 4 beneficial but not essential. Internet connection fast and reliable. Stayed for a week but would have loved to stay longer.

There aren’t enough superlatives to describe this beautiful location. The home, the view, the close by natural wonders, all were so memorable. I would definitely return to Eddie’s place next visit to southern Costa Rica.

Wonderful house, peaceful area and perfect location. I stayed here with my family and we had a great time, also used this place as a base to visit Chirripó on a daily hike. Eddie was always responsive and Henry very helpful whenever we needed anything. Planning to go back again for sure.

We had a great stay. The accomadation was very comfortable and as descibed. There is a caretaker, Henry, who stays on the grounds. He was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. If you want to get a little off the beaten (tourist) track then this a great location. The view was beautiful when we arrived and somehow got more and more captivating as our stay progressed, clouds passed by, the city beneath lit up at night and the birds didn't stop doing bird stuff... all in all a wonderful place. Highly recommended.

Nice spacious home with beautiful views. I was very impressed with the massive grounds being so well manicured. Really enjoyed the large, well furnished deck. The view at night was spectacular looking down at the city lights and of course in daylight was even more beautiful of the mountains and valleys. The large house is very nice and well appointed and the kitchen is great as well. Eddie and Henry are great hosts. We hope to return soon.
