Beautiful, comfortable paradise in the hills.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful week in the Santa Teresa area, and this house was exactly what we needed. We’ve been to the area many times and would come back here without hesitation. Away from the noisy, dusty center of Santa Teresa, the house’s location in Santiago was simply perfect for us. With a car, we were about 15 minutes from downtown Santa Teresa, but 10 minutes or less from Playa Hermosa, which is the beach we visit most. The house is very well equipped, the pool is ideal, and the overall atmosphere is super pleasant and peaceful. Ine and Max were incredibly kind and welcoming, and being able to bring our dog was an extra bonus we truly appreciated. We’ll be back! 🐾✨

This is such a lovely space. Everything is sparkling clean, the grounds are beautifully maintained and it has a magic about it! We live locally and rented the space for friends visiting. It was perfect and we would be happy to do so again. Thanks for a great experience.

Excellent place, it is quite far away so it offers an atmosphere of tranquility and quiet. The accommodation is surrounded by plenty of vegetation and well-kept gardens, the place is beautiful and spacious, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need in case you want to prepare something at home. It has a fairly large terrace in front of the pool, ideal for enjoying the day. The property is as shown in the pictures. The area is very quiet because it is far from the center. Consider that there are no nearby establishments, but if you move by quad or car you can easily travel to Playa Hermosa or Santa Teresa where you can find a wide variety of restaurants, supermarkets and other services. The best part of the house was the visits from our friend Tuca, the property's dog who occasionally comes by to say hello.

Terrific hosts and property. The only risk of staying here is that you won’t want to leave. Beautiful, comfortable, and so thoughtfully put together that it instantly feels like home.

A beautiful house in a quiet area just 10 min from Playa Hermosa and 15 min from Santa Teresa. We can highly recommend a 4-wheel drive especially for the rainy season. We enjoyed our first coffee in the morning on the sundeck, with plenty of wild life to watch. Monkeys, lizards, birds and butterflies… We would definitely choose it again, especially after meeting the lovely host family. Ine and Maximo made us feel like home. The kids loved the pool and I enjoyed reading, in the hammock. A big bonus for our 18 day stay was the cleaning service once a week. We hope to come back soon.

My 3 boys and I rented La Golfina for a vacation. The house was perfect, very clean, and exactly as pictured. All amenities as described. Wonderful location up the hill, far enough to have space from people and town, close enough to pop in easily. Hosts are kind, courteous, and responsive (only needed to reach out on a few occasions to ask simple questions responded immediately). Would definitely recommend and possibly rent again! Our three-week Airbnb stay in Costa Rica was absolutely delightful! Max & Ines' property was nestled amidst lush greenery, offering stunning views of the surroundings and a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation....well, except for the daily conversations at sunset between the howler monkeys and local dogs, lol ...always a laugh! Max and Ines were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and beautifully furnished, making our stay genuinely immersive. The bongos were a blast and Max even brought over a guitar once he knew I played. We loved the proximity to local attractions, beaches, surfing and wildlife reserves, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. This stay truly exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the natural beauty of Costa Rica and a cool surf vibe of Santa Teresa and Playa Hermosa! 🤙🏻🏄😎

My family really enjoyed this place. Through the big windows we could see lots of wildlife. A 5 minute drive from our favorite beach in Hermosa.

Amazing stay in the hills behind Hermosa Beach. The house is beautifully designed, simple, modern, surrounded by peaceful jungle. Only 10min away from Hermosa Beach, our favorite surf spot, you are away from the crowds and you decide when you want to go into Santa Teresa. 100% recommended for a calm stay with friends !

The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to explore, yet nestled in a peaceful and safe neighborhood. The host was exceptional – friendly, attentive, and quick to respond to any questions. They made sure we felt at home and even provided thoughtful local tips that made our trip even better.
